We have to start this review off with how much of a cinnamonroll Ichika is. She's precious and adorable, even puts herself in harms way just to make the bad guys good again.
Each charater gets her own episode and we get to know each's backstory and even see their parents/grandparents... unles you're himarin, she kinda gets the short staff of the group...
We see Aoi's household and her reason to fight, we see Yukari's, and Akira's, and even a sobfest of Ichika's family, yet no Himarin family, only 2 episodes really where of her.
Other than that, we get good charater screen time, some felt
...
forced in, and introduction of new freinds and stuff, screen time is very limited if you like one the side charaters.
The progression of each charater is very prevolent, we see each meber grow up, how they deal with defete and the rise of a new chalange to better themselvs,
heck we even get to see in the last episode what they do in their lives after they split up and do their own thing. Which fit each charater, and the story supports it.
The change of each villan, is well done. We get a beautiful conculsion on each vilan, their backstory, and how the precure help them out. Each got a fair share of scrren time, ad was really
laied out and the plot was overall really well exucted, nothing felt forced or rushed.
overall, with the short times I've cried with the charaters, smiled with them, and feelt all giddy and happy once they accomplished a big goal or took down the arcs villan, each episode
carrys its own weight, and even some filler episodes, wenrnt filler, all attributed to story/world building and nothing felt out of place. We got a lot of the charaters true emotions and
their true feelings, their motivations, their inner deamons even showing up, and the charaters conqored them and a lot of charater development.
Only one nitpick I had was some the fights where kind of lame, they where too short, they used their final attack like right after getting punched in the gut, a little cheesy
some figths where masterfully exicuted and drawn out. we see them fight with their hearts, trying their best, and after a long long battle, they finnaly win. Expecally when their finnal attacks
don't work, those fights where the best, cuz we see them try diffrent options to then fight to weaken them enough to final attack them.
an easy 10/10, which I don't hand out much. Has to be my all time fav anime topping toradora, the familiar of zero, chuunibyou, violet evergarden, and even the irregular at magic high.
I will be rewatching this in the future

This is my first review, so please bare with me on this. I have read all four books available as of right now, and have the fifth one pre-ordered.
TLDR: A must read if you love Isekai and/or rpg type novels. Even someone like me who honestly doesn't like reading, fell madly in love with the series.
Lets start off with the story. I won't go into it to much and will avoid spoilers as much as possible. It's honestly a really good Isekai fantasy rpg like light novel. It mainly is focused on the dungeon and rpg aspect of the world with a harem tag put
...
on there. It has some adult themed scenes, but it isn't the main thing you get out of the read. It does include the daily slice of life scenes, which is a well added bonus.
It is kinda cliché that he has the insane luck and is overpowered at times, but he isn't op, he has to support his team so if it's just him, he's kinda worthless. It's a nice brake from the overpowered troupe, it has some of it, but it's balanced. The insane luck is also not because of him, it's because of one of his party members skill, so it's not super cliché. As well as, there are quite a bit of times where the party is faced against a powerful foe, and Arihito and his party has to find really creative ways to turn the tides of battle and win. It's really nice seeing these cool strategies he comes up with flesh out, and it leaves you thinking what new things he has to come up with. Like when faced against a very powerful enemy, and his team split up into 3 groups, he had to think on his toes and sacrifice himself a bit and used his harpies to get the others in his squad into safety as he took the attack.
At vol 3, it does get a little slow as they get a new party on their side, but it's kinda needed to introduce the new charters and it doesn't get dragged out. But I honestly don't think it will be as dragged out in vol 4 because we already meet the new charters in bulk.
Now we move onto the art. I gave it a 10/10 because it's honestly very beautiful. Huuka Kazabana makes stunning art of combat, slice of life, and character art throughout the books. I also have a a slight biaest towards Kazabana because of their kancolle artwork. But all in all, their art work is amazing!
Up next is character. The character diversion is nice, you have your kuudere/nyandere, tsundere, shrine maiden, deredere, another tsundere, tomboy, milf, Ganguro, and the list goes on. So you will defiantly find a nice waifu that suits your tastes.
You got your typical harem MC who is dense sometimes, but other than that, he honestly isn't that bad of an mc. He plays his age card and his leader statutes not to do anything hentai things to his party. And honestly, it's for the better he does that. Because of the trust and affection they all built up, it would be weird seeing a prominent couple emerge out of the harem. Sure they can do a In another world with my smartphone cop out, and I hope they do to be honest.
The character growth is also seen a lot, even in the first volume Arihito grows quite a bit, even grows a lot into vol 2 & 3 as well. The supporting cast also grows a lot with him as they level up and move on through the labyrinths.
There is not a main vilian type character yet, but it does seem like in vol 3 it's leading up for the main allegiance talked about could be (just my speculation as of right now).
Enjoyment. Why do I have this as my favorite series? Well it's simple, I really loved the whole world, characters, and story (that isn't much talked about since he only has like 2 main goals he wants as of vol 3). It isn't a harem novel with a rpg style world, it's a rpg world with a slice of harem! I love that the harem part isn't to much. I also enjoy how the author includes the side characters quite a bit. I do also like how each supporting character also sees quite a bit of 'screen time' and grows with Arihito and everyone else.
In conclusion, if you are a fan of Isekai, this series is a must read. I'll defiantly read this over any other Isekai out there.
I do like the manga's cute art style, so I am really excited to see this become an anime one day.
I thank you guys for reading my review, sorry if my grammar or spelling sucked... But I do hope this does help you decide on picking up this series or not.
(Update: Just finished vol 4. It definitely picked up the pace and it wasn't slow like in vol 3 when we met 4 seasons. Vol 4 definitely could've had a bit more combat, most the beginning was upgrading, getting new skills, and doing the things they needed, but the book played it out in a way where you don't feel like its going on and on, it felt natural.
