both of these mangas are set around childhood friends that grow up dealing with lgbtq stigma in japan and dealing with love triangles and basically having to hide your true feelings for someone because you are lgbtq, and since in japan lgbtq is tabboo or looked down upon on, both characters in both stories would have rumours and or bullying linked to them and their identity thus hiding their feelings for their same sex counterparts. Also theres themes of love triangles in both.

Cherry Boy, That Girl

I find that this is similar, to Cherry Boy, That Girl because. First, they are both romance/school life webcomics. The main characters face issues with their love interests, and meet atleast more then 1 appealing male characters. Which soon to become, characters that create a larger role in the story. They also both face challenges, while making friends, or trying to keep a friend relationship.

Hitsugi no Chaika: Avenging Battle
|
I think this is similar to Akame ga kill because, it's both a fantasy world where the "criminals" In the story line are the typical "good guys". Both of these stories take place in a, historical fantasy period, the one with mages, swords, special weapons. These animes are similar in some ways then another. I feel if you enjoyed Akame ga kill, you can or try to enjoy Chaika the coffin princess, but this anime has a much lighter mood.
