Review: D-Frag!
"7.76!? This anime is underrated! You have got to watch this anime! ASAP!"
Story (5/10): There is not a worthy framework to follow on, just the comedy. But if there a worthy plot planning of following of, it would be the the typical lives of these high schoolers, their clubs, and how they go on about it. When it comes to most comedy anime however, the plot tends to stray away and comedy is often the focal point when it comes to these kinds of series. Fortunately, the anime succeeds when it comes to it. As a result, it is ridiculously hilarious. Nevertheless, this anime
...
could have been better off with a decent plot as their were noticeable signs of plot elements worthy when coming into the anime. The story starts off as the the 'Temporary' Game Club are in desperate attempts to find a fifth member in order for their club not to be shut down. The club president eventually finds the fifth member she was looking for. But however, she pleads for him to sign into the club despite rejecting many times signing into the club. But after many desperate attempts and through amusing tactics, she gets him to sign. With him signing into the club, one of the members of the 'Original' Game Club takes hold of the news and is furious. Simply because, they are the 'Original' Game Club and as the guy who signed it, joined into the 'Temporary' Game Club. The club president from the 'Original' Game Club tells the guy to drop off the club and get in hold of their club instead. In result, words spreads to the 'Temporary' Game Club and tension rises between the two clubs. As the cultural festival arrives, whoever makes the 'best game' will be recognized at the best game club at school. This could have been a great plot to follow for the anime in general, but however, the 'main' plot and the outcome, ended as short-lived as a result. As the series progressed however, it went to a continuous episodic plot to an episodic plot to a continuous episodic plot once again. Not only it was frustrating for these sequences to follow, it was widely inconsistent from each other. And, only to end without closure by the end of the series. What was learned however, even though each episode was in disarray and straying away from the 'main plot', all the episodes had a similarity from each other. Each episode shared the danger of the main characters losing their clubs which makes the anime worth watching for. The plot is not what should not be looked at but for the fun of it. But nevertheless without the plot, the comedy saves the anime from failing.
Art (8/10): The art is fine as it is. Certainly, the opening theme to this anime was flashy and as a result cracked a smile every time in each and every episode. The same can be said to the ending of the anime as well. But, what is unique about the ending theme is that at the end of each episode, the ending theme adds in a new 'female' character every time they are introduced. To mention that the characters designs are one of the highlights of the anime. Because, there were some scenarios where Roka, one of the main heroine of the series, turns herself into a 'chibi' version of herself which amusing to see. To also mention that the facial expressions that the characters make are so undeniably adorable in some scenarios, and hilarious in some. The character designs were creative and perfectly executed. Overall, Brain Base did a great art direction job nevertheless.
Sound (8/10): Let's start off that Konishi Katsuyuki's 'eccentric' voice is absolutely hilarious to hear voicing one of the main characters in the series which was Kazuma, Kenji. Every time an insult or a sarcastic comment is made by one of the characters to attack him, he counterattacks it by yelling a logical comment of his own. As a result, a well done performance by Konishi Katsuyuki. To mention that all the 'seiyuus' did a brilliant job voicing each of their individual character as well! No character felt out of place as each matched their characters personality. Lastly, most importantly and worthy of mentioning, that on top of the amusing animation, both the opening and ending tracks captured the anime's atmosphere as a whole. As a result, filled the anime's expectation as whole! The soundtracks were uplifting and joyful to hear simply because the lyrics hilariously did not make sense whatsoever. Maybe, it was trying a crack of wordplay? Oh well, it was entertaining to hear nevertheless.
Character (9/10): The characters has their own little quirks that can be remembered by. To mention one character looked like Kenji straight out of School Rumble. What was interesting about this character lineup is that this is one of the most eccentric lineups yet. Not only it was eccentric, it was vast! Unfortunately with a cast so huge, it was hard to remember the names of each individual character. Fortunately, the characters and their charismatic personalities were there to distinguish their amongst their names. Importantly, the character lineup essentially brought this anime to life. Without this unique set of characters, this could have been a boring slice-of-life anime without a doubt. The characters brighten up the atmosphere of the anime and as a result, a success and a joy to watch. The characters succeeded in hooking the entirety of the anime as a whole. To mention, many of these characters however did fit into different categories of cliché anime tropes. Fortunately, many of these characters did not abuse the 'stereotype' which did not make it a nuisance. Lastly and the character worth of mentioning of is Shibaskaki Roka, the main heroine of the series. Throughout the entire series, the 'eccentricity' of her character shined above the rest. She was definitely an oddball and and at the same time, adorably cute! Overall, loved the characters!
Enjoyment (10/10): Cried tears of joy through in and each episode. Stomach hurt due to laughing to much. Have not enjoyed an anime this widely entertaining in a long time. Enjoyed from beginning to end!
Overall (9/10): Overall, this anime is a perfect example of 'entertainment'. The characters and how they deal with each scenario is ridiculously entertaining. The idea may sound bland of characters playing rock, paper, scissors may sound boring but the way the author wrote the interactions between the characters is simply brilliant! The concept of a plot may be a non-existent, but the entirety of the anime as a whole is worth the watch! The framework just follows simply of high-schoolers, their game creation club and their how they go on about their everyday lives is just what makes it entertaining. Definitely recommend this anime! Do not forget to watch the OVA as well!
Personal Rant:
To be honest, this anime could have ended up as a harem anime, as there was a convincible amount of girls in the anime. To mention, many of the girls shared many of the cliche anime tropes used in a harem anime. This is just an observation however. But the idea of this anime being a harem anime could have ruined this anime reputation's for the worse. But, fortunately this series didn't portray any elements of harem that can be classified of the genre. The same genre applies to ecchi as well.

REVIEW: Working'!! (Season two)
"This is season two of the series by the way. If you want to read it anyway, go on ahead! Spoilers! If you want to read my review on the first season however, the review will be right down below!"
Story (5/10): Without a resolve with Inami's androphobia, without a surprise is that the unresolved fear of Inami's androphobia is going to continue on within the second season. To mention Ooto's search of his lost wife, Satou and Todoroki's relationship and Yamada's relationship with her family has yet to be solved. What I found disappointing however is that the plot that was worthy
...
of following of was the main characters, mostly Takanshi's resolve to cure of Inami's androphobia.
Personal rant: Honestly, the plot is bland but the characters help make up for it. If there was a decent plot to follow, surely it would be more entertaining to watch. It is entertaining as it is! But, can't help feel there should be a decent plot to it. For example, an intricate love triangle. Not the one between Satou, Todoroki, and Kyouko. But between Takanshi, Inami, and Taneshima. Not saying this is a good idea considering this is not intended to be a romance series. But, it would be certainly be entertaining to see a sort of development happening. Something of that sort. But, without any intricate plots, it's entertaining either way. It's what makes this anime unique.
Art (10/10): One year had passed since the first season had aired and compared to the art from last season, this season took it up-a-notch! The characters were polished, more detailed than last season. That can be said with the scenery as well! Also, A-1 Pictures again took the time and effort to make another striking and marvelous opening theme! The most rememberable part when it comes to the opening themes is that they never fail to add are the female characters chibi's version of themselves which can be found in the middle of the opening which are just adorable! Not to mention, loved how the ending theme was made which was made with the use of juxtaposition for the most part. Which near the end of the ending theme, Yamada and Souma can be seen playing the tambourine quite hilariously behind Takanashi back in the background. Without a doubt, A-1 Pictures couldn't not have done any better in the art direction in this anime! No complaints here!
Sound (10/10): Compared to last season's soundtrack, this season was even better. To mention, that the opening theme was catchier and same goes with the ending theme of this season. Once again, the ending theme was sung by the Fukumaya Jun, Kamiya Hiroshi, and Ono Daisuke. What a blessing to hear them singing once again! Also, the 'seiyuus' once again did an excellent job of voicing their characters roles! Especially when it came down to Yamada this time! Her voice defined her character and not to mention was adorably cute!
Character (10/10): The characters definitely livened up the expectations of the series! When it comes to most anime in general, with the addition of adding more supporting characters, all it does just makes it a nuisance. With this series however, with the addition of new characters just made the series even livelier! The character that left a remarkable impression this season was Yamada! She definitely stole the spotlight when it came down to how she interacted with each character! Each interaction was hilarious to watch! Also, can't forget to mention the Takanashi family as well! Each member in Takanashi's family is so intriguing to learn about that there should be a separate series for them alone! Even though they are the supporting characters, they definitely deserve more screen-time! What was disappointing however is that with the introduction of Matsumoto Maya last season was not properly built up this season. She is always seen in jump-cut scenes and until the last episode. It felt unfair to the character not giving appropriate amount of screen time to build up her character. It would've been interesting to see her character more! What I also found disappointing is the relationship between Taneshima and Takanashi's. It would be cute to see them for their relationship to be deepened together. But, to be stolen by Inami which I don't find bothersome at all. Lastly, what I found interesting is that that some of the character's relationship seem to deepens as this series goes by. And, Takanashi and Todoraki who are unaware of love gave out clues and hints of 'romantic feelings'. Despite this series being involving romance, it interesting to see the development of the character's relationship with others.
Enjoyment (8/10): Cannot say that it wasn't enjoyable because that would be a straight-up lie. It was amusing to see every antic the characters had to make! Cried out tears of laughter every now and then simply because this anime is hilarious to watch! Season two, in my opinion, was better than last season!
Overall: (8/10): Season three will definitely be on the look out since it might as well be the conclusion of the series! But without a doubt, this has been quite a ride so far! Can say that this is one of best or the best 4-koma manga anime adaptions up to date! Entertaining and contagious to watch! Can't live without season two, watch it!

Review: Working!! (Season one)
"Why is this rated a 7.82!? This anime is great!"
Story (7/10): Concerning of plot, the story has no framework. The anime just revolves many main characters and involves their everyday lives of 'working' in a restaurant. Besides that point, each of their personalities pale in comparison from each other. As a result their personalities mix in oddly well making their everyday lives pleasantly humorous to watch. If there was a framework to follow on however, it isn't until one of the the main character steps into play. Her androphobia, and the cause behind it. Androphobia is the fear of men and the fact of the matter is, she has to constantly have to deal with it with everyday life. Despite her fear of men, she works at Wagnaria where it is inevitable where there may be men at. With the help of main characters however, they push her to get over her fear of androphobia. Through hilarious trials and consequences, the main characters help her inch away out of her fear of men. Even though there may be a little to no plot, the anime is enjoyable to watch nevertheless.
Art (8/10): Like the name clearly states, A-1 Pictures. Nothing is better than A-1 really. The art direction for the opening theme coming into this anime is eye-catching and amusing to see. That can be said with the ending theme following of the anime. To mention, A-1 did a excellent job in catching every detail that it had to offer to the character designs to the scenery. With this particular anime being the based on a 4-koma manga, the animation is grand and the manga pales in comparison. That's all I have to say!
Sound (9/10): Ono Daisuke, Kamiya Hiroshi, and Fukuyama Jun are all in one place as they voice all the male main characters in the series. With that being the case, it is particularly interesting to hear their voices. Since they are known voicing many characters from all different series people all know and love. I can quite say all the voice actors did their voice roles well. Especially, when it came to one of the main heroines, Taneshima. To mention, her voice is irresistibly cute. For the music however, the opening coming into this can compare to opening themes such as Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu and Nicjijou. Catchy and up-lifting. For the the ending theme however, the ending theme is soothingly jazzy hearing all the male 'seiyuu' mentioned above sing the ending theme at each episode which was a highlight of this anime. The music was one of its strong points as it created a 'fun atmosphere' for this anime to watch.
Character (9/10): The character lineup was definitely bizarre and large in comparison to some anime. Not to mention that one character looked like Sanji out of One Piece. It refreshing to see some characters were not being used out of the anime trope. However, there were a few characters that used the anime trope, but weren't overused to the point it became a nuisance. They were original as each of them had a quirk or trademark to remember them by. The large lineup and the liveliness of the characters is also one of its strong points making the anime enjoyable to watch.
Enjoyment: (7/10): Managed to binge-watch this anime throughout one go. It's easy and fun to watch since it's a refreshing anime to watch. There wasn't a boring moment when it came to this anime. Definitely humorous and laughed out loud.
OVERALL: (8/10): Season two will be on a look out since this was a refreshing anime to watch. Despite the story, the characters and how they interact with each other in their everyday life is amusing. Each character and their own little quirky personalities are rememberable despite having so many characters. It's what this makes this anime look forward to. The art direction from A-1 Pictures could not have been better as the character designs and scenery had little to none flaws at all. With Ono Daisuke, Kamiya Hiroshi and Fukuyama Jun singing karaoke at the end at each episode and the comedic relief this anime comes out with is relaxing. Overall, this anime is perfect if done with watching a favorite anime, having a bad day, or have an anime to watch on the weekend! Definitely recommend this anime to watch!

Review: Oshiete! Galko-chan
Story (4/10): This anime has no framework or a single plot to follow on but rather focuses on the daily lives of a gyaru, an otaku, and an airhead. However, the characters and their use of comedic relief in each episode is quite entertaining to watch. Each episode is episodic filled with humor of the female genitalia. The jokes were dirty and playful and every once and a while, a smirk or two came across my face when watching. Putting humor aside, each episode was amusingly very informative when learning about female genitalia. With humor mixed in with educational facts, those two factors
...
is what this make this anime unique.
Art (8/10): The art is fresh. Colorful and eye-catching. From the quirky character designs and to the vivid animation, everything was done well from Studio feel. The studios who made the infamous Kiss x Sis, the brilliant Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru, and unfortunately one of the most disappointing winter shows this season, Dagashi Kashi. Surprisingly, studio Feel hasn't gotten the recognition they deserved yet. Mainly, it is due to the lack of reputation most of the anime made from their studios. With Galko-chan however, the art Studio feel made has not yet to fail. If there a downside to this anime however, it would be many of the female characters oversized breasts. An overused anime trope, in result, a nuisance. But overall, the art is great and is overall one of its strongpoints in this anime.
Sound (3/10): Since this anime had a duration of seven minutes, Studio Feel managed to fit in at least an opening theme. The opening theme coming into the anime was bright and energetic. But unfortunately, it wasn't catchy to make it rememberable. Overall, the soundtrack was one of it's downsides as it lacked any music at all.
Character (8/10): The characters are original in sense despite using most of the anime tropes in the book. Despite using some of the anime tropes, most of the characters personalities were unique making it want to learn about them more. Story is essential when it comes to character development and such. But unfortunately, leaving a solid plot for the characters to build on and despite the duration of each episode left the characters unfilled. They lacked the respect they deserved despite having great personalities. Budget cuts, sigh.
Enjoyment (8/10): Managed to binge watch this anime despite having a constrained time schedule. But, it only took me an hour and a half to watch. Oddly enough, this anime was surprisingly entertaining to watch. If only it were longer.
Overall (7/10): This anime had so much potential if there was some sort of plot to follow on with all these characters in hand. Shame that they didn't get developed on. But despite of all of that, this anime was surely entertaining to watch. The art is fresh, colorful and eye-catching. The daily lives of an unusual bunch of high schoolers and their use of humor on female genitalia was quite amusing to watch. Wouldn't say this anime is overrated but lacked the attention it deserved. But overall, do not look for the story but for the comedic relief this anime has to offer. It only takes an hour or two to watch the entire anime. Worth a watch and definitely recommend this anime for those who want to watch due to a constrained time schedule or just for fun in general. Give it a try!

REVIEW: Nisekoi
"You're better off reading the one-shot manga than reading this whole entire series. Trust me. You'll get more gratification than reading than this has-been."
Let me start off by saying, that the plot is undeniably skewed but unique in a sense. Having a skewed plot, the readers should know what they are going into. Especially what character the readers should be rooting for. If not, the readers are sure will be a whole lot in pain by the end of this series. Even though the plot was brilliant, it was skewed on how solely the plot was only but beneficial for two of the main
...
characters in the series. As most of the other characters didn't gain too much from the plot. That's what I found as a problematic flaw when coming into series. Not only it was skewed, but how weak it's resolve was. It was poorly executed in the end. It fell short. That's where my disappointment starts to stems from. So, that's all I can say for the plot.
The main character who is unbelievably dull, dense, and an idiot? In a high school setting? Surrounded my beautiful girls? Oh my, this sounds so exciting! Not. It's nothing really special but with a new, unique plot attached to it. Expect all kinds of dere, as expected coming from an harem series. Not to mention they're all beautiful girls which is where all this manga gets it is attention from! Please forgive me but harem series 'bug' me. However, I couldn't relate to any of the characters in the series since all of them had little to no flaws. They were almost perfect at everything which made it hard and connect to the characters. It almost made me envious of the characters. But, when it comes to feelings of love, that is something us readers can relate to the characters. Oddly enough, I somewhat was attached to the characters which made this stick with this story all the way through. Their personalities were cliche, but I felt like the characters played a major role in brightening the atmosphere. That's all I can say!
The art to the manga changes within the series as you get into the later volumes. You can tell that Komi's art style has improved from his previous works and now. But, without a doubt the art is drawn beautifully to how he draw his characters which really catches my eye. To point out, I like how the author uses comedic relief when applying his art style into the series. There are some scenarios within the manga that will make your eyes bawl out which were the characters faces they make throughout the series. However, this may sound odd but some of the faces Komi drew pissed me off. I don't know the reason behind that though. Laugh out loud. Not to mention, that the author sometimes uses a hilarious but unique art form of 'chibi' as well in some scenes. Lastly, I like how the author brilliantly distinguish each character. Be it a red ribbon or a pendant. with their own trademark which made it easier to distinguish which character who was who. Be it a red ribbon or a pendant. Overall, the art was a strong point of this series. Naoshi Komi's art style was very unique and fun to look at!
Is it worth the read? The indisputable question that begs to be answered. It is a yes and a no. To begin with, this manga starts have very light-heartedly between friends who love spending time with each other. One of it's strong point of this series is the comedy as I bawled by eyes in each bizarre scenario the characters were into. However, the romance was a unsatisfactory as it only mattered at the end of the series. It all turn downhill when it turned until the drama completely overwhelm the romance making it tough to read. All that came out from the romance or drama, excuse me, was bittersweet. The feeling I hate the most.
But nevertheless, I did not mind the skewed plot and it was irrefutable from the start that the first few volumes were a joy to read. Flipping through each page, excited for each chapter, and expecting each volume to come out was indeed fun. But however, when going into the later volumes, I found myself enjoying for the story but for the fillers as well. It was story. Then filler. Story. Filler. With this being the case, it all started to go downhill, as the plot became irrelevant as fillers began overwhelm the series. More unnecessary characters came into place as the author desperately tried to milk out the series for what it was worth. It was nothing but filler until things start to take a dramatic turn in the later volumes as I was hit by sudden plot development the author started throwing at out. It was overwhelming.
With the sudden plot development in place, the author began to move at an uncomfortable pace. At the same time, he purposely provided significant, but overwhelming development between only two main characters. It was infuriating. It was unjustifiable when compared to between solely two main characters who got significant 'relationship' development to most of the characters in the series who got little to none! It was unacceptable to see most of the characters in the series who did not get the significant development that they deserved. To mention again about the sudden plot development, the pacing was of the story was absolutely atrocious. Each chapter were heavily rushed making the character development seem unnatural in a sense. Not to mention, that the plot points were in disarray! Not only did the author failed as he tried to introduce more characters, but failed as he did not implement more significant character development between the relationship between most of the characters and the main character. It failed to connect. Especially when it came to one character who mattered the most to the main character. I felt like she did not get the justice she deserved as the author deliberately wanted to server her from the main character. Each time the character who was important to the main character got to 'confess' her feelings to the main character, she gets interrupted! By, you know, deliberate consequences! Once again, unjustifiable.
Even worse, when getting into the last chapters into the series, I found myself aguishly, desperately to get to each chapter. Not only it became a fun hobby, it turned into a nuisance, a chore. it was a nightmare. Not only it became a chore of reading, but getting deeper into the series, it had no longer had become the series that I once loved. It was a whole another entity of itself. Each and every chapter was melodramatic and I became indignant of the ending which has later sparked controversy for some people. But, I did no longer care. In the end, I'd had to accept that ending. However, as to how this series ended, the closure was painful and all there was a left was a void of this meaningless book. Considering that this was a two-hundred and twenty eight series, I consider this a waste of time and effort. The same goes to the author who wrote this series for four years in the making. It dragged longer than it was meant to in hopes of milking the series from it's worth. But in all fairness, readers who are not into harem series should reconsider when reading into this series. Don't anticipate for anything exciting to happen if you happen to be riding the 'wrong ship'. You will only get hurt at the end. If you do get the 'right ship', then consider yourself lucky reading this manga. This series could have been better if the author did not use a skewed plot and used the character development more appropriately. But, it is not my story to begin with, it's Komi's. Without a doubt, Naoshi Komi played with my emotions. It was going all so well until it became a train wreck. But, I did have my share of fun. Most importantly, the lesson that I learned from this manga is to confess your feelings immediately to the person you love. Don't wait.
In my opinion, I definitely do not recommend reading this manga. It's a waste of time and effort as the readers deserve better than this. The series should have been better off as dating-sim or doujin series. Seriously.
In the end, it would be rather worth reading the one-shot manga of this series than this heap pile of mess it has been. The one-short manga is way, more gratifying as the plot fit better into it as well as character development which was been delivered appropriately.
I hope you all take my review into consideration! Thank you.

Review: Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge
Story (6/10): I can't say there is much of a story in this anime. But all I can say is that Tanaka, being the person he is, spends his ordinary high school life being listness. (I know that may sound boring, but bear with me.) But anyways, along with his listlessness, the people who are around him make his life interesting which is worth the watch!
Art (8/10): I can't say too much about the art. As the source of this anime came from a 4-koma manga, I expected worse. But, I can quite say the art presented in this anime
...
was fun to look at since this was made by Silver Link., the ones who made Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu and Kokoro Connect.
Sound (9/10): Let's start off that the opening going into this anime is extremely catchy. Definitely pleasant to the ears as we get a break from 'heavy metal' which we encounter from every anime. The soundtrack and the ending song to this anime can be said as well.
Character(s) (7/10): If there were two words to describe this character's lineup. Bizarre and quirky. And, that is one's of it's strong points is what makes this anime great. The reason behind it is because each character had each of it's peculiar personalities which made this show so fun to watch. Each character, in my opinion, determines how the show's value or what not. But however, I have never seen a character like Tanaka-kun and his 'listlessness'. Even though he is a whole new concept of character I've never seen before, I've never seen how a 'pathetic' a character like him can be. Pathetic may sound a harsh word to describe a character, but that's criticism for the most part. Oddly enough, with his personality in touch, his character is humorous as it is. I can't say he's a fascinating of a character, but his quirks is enough to make me enjoy the show. But, I can say that the people who surround him on a daily basis makes what this show particularly interesting!
Enjoyment (9/10): I can say that I ejoyed the anime from beginning to end. Expect all kinds of humor thrown at your face. Because at every end of each episode, you'll smile wanting for more!
Overall: After reflecting on my thoughts on this show, I can definitely recommend this anime to those who want a relaxing, soothing, light slice-of-life anime. Along with 'Flying Witch', this anime stands as one of the best anime of the Spring season. I'm surprised that very few people had picked up this anime since I think this is very underrated. The character lineup were very interesting in a way as each character presented each of their own, unique personalities. There may be practically be no story, but the life that revolves around Tanaka-kun and what unfolds before him is rather intriguing to watch. The comedy is not constrained unlike Sakamoto desu ga?, because with Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kegaruge, expect all kinds of witty humor, satire, slapstick, and etc. The art may be not the best, but since this source came from a 4-koma manga, I am not disappointed in any way. The art is indeed delightful and fun to look at. For the character lineup however, it's nice to take a break and see some new personalities pop once in a while. The characters who were the most rememberable however, were protagonist and deuteragonist Tanaka and Oota. You may think they are mundane and lacking of a personality. But along with Tanaka's listlessness, Oota's tranquil nature, the humor and different personalities that clash againist each other is what saves this show! Most importantly, the show was very entertaining to watch! With that being the case, I definitely recommend this anime who are looking for a humorous but relaxing, sooting anime to watch on a weekends. Or, just any other day in general.
But, if I had to find a flaw within this anime however, is the lack of character development with each character and Tanaka's listlessness. If there was a character that had changed throughout twelve episodes. It would be Shiraishi. And, she is the supporting character. Throughout twelve episodes, we saw no improvement into Tanaka's listlessness at all. You expect a character to develop some character, but with that being the case with Tanaka's listlessness, I found that furiously frustrating to watch. But, it some situations however, Tanaka's listlessness is what either saved this show from going down the gutter for the better or worse. Don't get me wrong I like this anime, loved all the characters, and the humor presented from this anime! If we were to see some character development, I think I would've rated this show much higher! But, an important lesson that can be brought to this anime, and is to only be yourself. That's true in most cases, but that shouldn't imply to Tanaka-kun.
-Along with Flying Witch, I want a season two with this anime as well!

REVIEW: Flying Witch
"How is this rated a 7.69!? This is a great slice-of-life anime. In my opinion. Why? Well, read my review and you'll see why!
Story: (8/10) Here's my take on the synopsis. Makoto, being the witch she is, the story practically revolves around her alongside her cousins, Kei and Chinatsu. With the start of each episode, as a witch in training, Makoto explores Aomori, Japan with her two cousins to expand her surroundings. By exploring together, the crew encounters many things. May it be companions, magical beings, creatures and places unperceivable from the human eye! With the help of her surroundings and as a
...
witch living with her two cousins in Aomori, Japan, her goal is to become a 'Flying Witch' someday!
Art: (8/10) The animation is fluid, and simply beautiful since this anime is made by the one and only and as expected J.C. Staff! The creators who made Toradora!, Kaichou wa-maid Sama! and many other notable anime! There's nothing more great you can get from them (well, there are a few exceptions), but can expect great art from this anime!
Sound: (8/10): The music is one of it's strong points. Because, two words. It's. Relaxing. And. Soothing. That's five, nevermind. But anyways, for those who have watched Gin no Saji, the singer 'miwa' sings both the first opening of Gin no Saji and for the opening of this anime as well! I can appreciate that the opening, ending, and let's not forget the soundtrack matched the tone and quality of this anime!
Character(s) (8/10): You may think the characters are dull, boring, and are lacking of variety through the first two episodes. But, the characters are as well one of its strong points. The reason why it's one of it's strong points because it strays away from all the other anime cliques we're all tired seeing of. Don't expect any dere(s), loli(s), shota(s) and etc. But do expect some quite interesting magical beings as well as adorable little creatures! As each and every character have a fun, original, unique personality to them!
Enjoyment (10/10): By watching the first two episodes, my first impression of this anime was 'indifferent'. I thought it would be some other anime slice-of-life cliche. As the third episode strolled along however, I found newfound respect for this anime. The fun adventures they have together, things they find that are unperceivable from the human eye, make me want to be part of their adventures! A fantasy you'd want to indulged in. As that being the case, I can quite say that I'd enjoyed this anime.
Overall (9/10): Along with Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge, this anime stands as one of the best anime to watch of the Spring season. Each and every episode was filled with intriguing stories, I must say, to watch! I can say that the characters even though they were simple, were unique in a way! Art was presented greatly as expected from the J.C. Staff. Sound absolutely was relaxing and soothing at the most part! Most importantly I enjoyed this anime from beginning to end! If you want a relaxing and soothing anime to watch after watching a 'stressful' anime, I definitely recommend this one! Expect yourself to smile and chuckle at each and ever episode!
- I want a season two!

REVIEW: Hoozuki-san Chi no Aneki
Story (7/10): The story revolves two siblings, The Hoozuki Siblings, Haru and Gorou. In fact, they are not siblings "related by blood" but are indeed step-siblings. With Haru being the elder sister, Gorou lives his 'ordinary life' dealing with his sister's Haru tomfoolery. Dealing with her constant sly innuendoes and josh. (But, there's a reason behind Haru's actions however, which you will later read on throughout the story.) But most importantly, Gorou also has to deal with his 'romantic feelings for this 'stepsister'. As time passes on however, these feelings of love will be 'resolved' at the end of the story.
...
As these ordinary (step) siblings living their ordinary high-school live together...in a fun way.
-Note: The word 'josh' means "tease (someone) in a playful way" for those who don't know.
Art (7/10): The art is fun to look at considering this is 4-koma manga. Short and playful.
Characters (7/10): The character lineup is quite limited considering there are ten characters. But there were two characters that stood out the most were obviously... the Hoozuki Siblings.
Hoozuku Haru: If there are two words to describe her, mischievous and sexy. She's the type of woman any man would fawn over, simply contagious. In my opinion. But anyways, she'll keep you indulged, as she has an outgoing and fun personality. She has a great personality, as she will do any means to keep his brother smiling.
Hoozuki Gorou: One of the most bizarre characters I've ever read in a manga but in a humorous way. Even though he is 'younger' than his sister, he acts sort of a "fatherly-type role" as he is quite overprotective of his sister. He is willing to go at all cost to protect his sister even if he get's beats up in the process. But at the same time, perverted when it comes to his mindset however.
For the supporting characters however, there were none to keep in mind. Except for over-exaggerated sex-crazed Misaki. The supporting characters didn't leave a remarkable presence and without the role of the Hoozuku Siblings, this manga would've died. Literally.
Enjoyment (8/10): My enjoyment throughout the manga was a blast. Read in a one go.
Overall (7/10): This is going to be a long one. Considering this was my first 4-koma manga which I considered to pick up today and deciding to write a review on, this manga is worth a read. There are 32 chapters including two extra omake(s). In a short period of time, I read it all in one go which took me around 2-3 hours, since it was very entertaining to read. But overall, the story was newfangled as well as new characters. What I find 'disappointing' however, that there isn't a actual storyline. Simply, set-up scenarios for (you) the readers to enjoy, which were indeed fun to read. Yet, there were some chapters especially in Chapter 10 that were building up a plot which were exciting to read. But unfortunately, the author failed to build on these plots, leaving out a solid plot in the process. Also, to keep in check there were some chapters especially the melodramatic Chapter 25 which weren't needed which disrupted the flow of the manga. Most importantly, I found the ending to be 'bittersweet', and not fully 'gratifying'. Even though it was an acceptable way to end the series, but I, the reader simply viewed the ending as a 'bit displeasing' in a sense. As there was never a solid plot for these characters to build their relationship together 'properly', just simply scenarios to build on. If there was one positive note on how this series ended, is why Haru teased his younger brother Gorou all this time, which was a story device I've never seen before. In the end, this manga had the potential to be rated higher, if it had a solid plot in the beginning, not 'just' random scenarios. But in the end, if you want to read a light-hearted, school-life, comedy, I suggest you reading this one.
P.S. This is not considered a 'romance' manga and you'll see why when you read this manga. I'm not the one to spoil!

REVIEW: Saenai Heroine no Sodakekata
Story (7/10): Aki, Tomoya, an average high school boy who has a hobby, that of being an otaku. One day as he rides his bike down the hill delivering newspapers, a girl's beret flies by catching Aki's attention. As he picks up the beret, a gushing wind of sakura blooms petals blows by his face. As he looks up onto the hill where the beret was blown from, Aki finds a girl standing on top of a hill. Aki is fascinated of her, and as an otaku himself, he randomly comes up with the brilliant idea to make a 'dating sim'
...
as he suddenly inspired to make one. In order to make the dream of making a dating sim come true, he gathers a harem *ahem* his classmates which happen to be coincidentally ALL FEMALE. (The story may sound forced, but is it quite fresh and refreshing to watch a interesting plot unfold.)
Art (7/10): It's art is similar that of Shirobako and Nagi no Asukara, where all the character designs look nearly the same from its counterparts. You're probably questioning, "That's how the artist designs are attended to be. You can't help it." Well, if you just add a different style of hair and a use different colors, they look different, right? (I'm sorry to insert my own personal opinion, I, as the viewer find that to be generic as in return bland and dull). But, compared to those anime I mentioned above, their character designs aren't as bad since all of them had distinguishable traits to recognize them by. Their personalities however, that what makes up the characters in general, which you will read in my character section. For the background however, it is what you expect from a modern-day anime. However, something to mention is that I think in either Episode 8 or 9, there were some scenes were Aki and his childhood friend Eriri, were reminiscing over their childhood memories. When they were reminiscing, the scenes were visually creative to look at. Just to keep that note in mind.
Sound (8/10): Whilst of writing of this review and watching the last episode yesterday, I find myself repeating the OP over and over again. It was indeed catchy. But for the ED and OST, I forgot the songs in it's entirely unfortunately.
Characters (8/10): The characters are what you can expect from your typical harem anime. But there are some characters in particular that you may like as the series progress on. Therefore, I will mention three characters that I found that I liked, that you make like as well throughout the whole anime.
Aki, Tomoya: Odd is one word it comes to mind when it comes to this character. But at the same time, very amusing. He's that character that can make brighten one's day, even though's he is bizarre one. Fortunately, this isn't your genetic and dull main character when it usually comes to a harem anime. He has an intriguing personality and is inspired to do whatever means possible to reach his dream.
Kasumigaoka, Utaha: When it comes to her characteristics, it fits one piece of a puzzle harem cliché. One of the most beautiful girls in school, has long black hair, has big *ahem* oppai, and you know the rest. When it comes to her personality however, she has two sides of a coin. One side seductive. One side perverted. But, most of the time she is calm, collected and has a reserved character. Her personality may be another anime cliché unfortunately. Despite that, that what makes her a likable character.
Katou, Megumi: Easily one of the favorite characters throughout the whole entire anime in my opinion. To see her character come into play, is quite exicitng and refreshing. A character that usually doesn't play into the harem cliché and instead be herself. Innocent and genuine. Most importantly, anyone could relate to her. As she is probably the most 'realistic' character which can be applied to reality itself. You may find her dull and boring, but as a character has a uniqueness to appeal to the viewers. #TeamKato, you'll know what this mean when you finish this anime.
Enjoyment (8/10): It was fairly satisfying considering how fresh the plot was. Even so, I sometimes found myself laughing at the screen at times. Sometimes reacting painfully to awkward moments even though they were humorous. The enjoyment of this anime was quite refreshing.
Overall: You may be confused when going in into Episode 0, as you do not know where the story has progressed, unless you had read the light novel. What I recommend is to watch Episodes 1-12 then go into Episode 0. But overall, expect to pause a couple of times as the dialogue paces too fast in some cases, unless you know how to read and comprehend fast. But don't let that ruin your enjoyment of the anime. The plot is something to look forward to, as well as new refreshing new art, sound, and characters! It's worth you time! Expect lots of fan-service by the way, which is my advice to you. But, anyways enjoy!

Ah, Nyan Koi. One of my first and favorite anime that I had ever watched as a kid when I was being introduced into anime. This will be a long one, so bear with me folks!
Story: (6/10)
A BRIEF SUMMARY: (You don't have to read this you know. Just read the synopsis!) One day, the main character Kousaka, Junpei, a high school student, walks home after from school. On the way home, he sees an empty can on the road 'waiting' to be recycled. Instead of picking it up like 'any' bystander would do, he decides to kick it instead into the trash can. Unfortunately, the
...
can whirls out the trash can, and breaks off the head of the cat statue that happened to be there. On the next day, he is cursed as he knowingly can hear and talk to cats. To lift this curse off of him, a cat Tama tells him that he must be willing to fulfill 100 requests from the cats with all his sincerity and to not to tell anyone about the curse or else he will turn into a cat.
Art: (7/10)
The art was fairly decent. Not the best, but it was indeed fun to look at! Especially when it came to the OP and ED art designs.
Sound: (8/10)
The OP is extremely catchy, as it matched the tone coming into the anime which was one of it's a strong point in this anime. That can also be applied to the ED as well. The OSTs however were limited and overused in some moments of the anime.
Character(s):
Since I've watched many kinds of anime, I know what cliches and stereotypes about a high-school, romantic-comedy, ecchi, harem might have. (That's a lot of genre tags there.) Especially when it comes down to this anime. You got the 'dull MC', the 'moe', the 'childhood friend', the 'twin-tailed tsundere', the college student who like to drink a lot, and etc. But, when it comes to the characters however, expect each and every one of them with interesting personalities.
Enjoyment:
My enjoyment of this anime was decent as I fairly enjoyed the anime throughout!
Overall:
As a kid, this anime was one of childhood favorites. Now, that I've come back to re-watch it again, it's just your typical high-school, romance, comedy, harem, ecchi anime. (That's a lot of genre tags there.) But, overall what makes it worth your time though is how the romance (even though it was a 'bit' forced) and comedy (even though it was a 'bit' exaggerated), is what made this anime fun to watch!
(SPOILER)
What's disappointing however is that this anime doesn't end with the MC ending up with someone. Leaving (you) viewers wanting to know 'who' and 'who' ends up together. Unfortunately, the story is left without another season and without a conclusive ending. The reason behind all this, is because the manga is left unfinished, for quite some time now, as the manga also leaves to an inconclusive ending as well. The manga has been on haitus since then, and there are no news about it continuing disappointingly. As of right now, we won't know for sure if there will ever be a concluded story of Nyan Koi in the near future. Just read a fan-fiction who ends up with who, that would be my advice!
To paraphrase it, don't watch it if you don't like inconclusive endings! Well, that's my review folks! Sorry for the long review!
