I've never seen any Japaneese work where the main location is South Korea. Boichi (the author) is from South Korea, so he had much experience with the environment. When I first saw the Genres, I was pretty confused with the Drama, Ecchi combo, I couldn't imagine this 2 genres can work alongside, and as I speculated, they couldn't. The only time when this could be alongside with themself, when Ken had sex. But apart from that, there was always a situation where one genre overpowered the other one in a scene. And thanks to the ecchi, the female characters are pretty shitty, they have 2D

personality. Every single female characters! There is no exception! This genre is spoils their personality and the only interesting thing about them is their breast, and sometimes they give blowjob to our mc. But let me tell you the basic setting of the story.
So the main protagonist decides to confess his love to his classmate, Yumi. She rejected him, because she wants to go to South Korea to become a police officer. As he heard her dream, he decides to go after her, and with some incidents he happened to become a leader of a gang.
This sounds interesting isn't it? What can go wrong? Well, the story and the action part of this manga is pretty good. There are a lot of beatiful panels, and the story leading is also good. It can be always exciting. Almost the best thing in this manga is this is a seinen. The problem is the manga is trying to be very cool, and this has an impact of the action scenes, and some other more. The characters suddenly changes personality, and having unpredictable nature wich would be okay, if this would be once or twice in the whole series even without any racional explanation, but the writer do this every time. This is usually because the gang is just a status symbol. We just see how they raid buildings and after that we can read informations about the band's status, but we never see them. I didn't get what I expect to get. I thought this was gonna be an empire builder-like manga just like the overlord, but as I wrote before, the band is just a cover name for making a protagonist to symbolize a king of the underworld, whose to face you can only kneeling before him. Not gonna lie, these looks pretty awesome, but apart from that, this has no other function. It's like the One Piece crew, but the leader has more prestige...
Well, I complained quite a bit, but let me say more positive sides of the manga. Besides the art, story, and the action scenes, there are a lot of interesting things in the series. For example the places. As I wrote before the main location is South Korea, but we visit Japan, and even Europe. I grumbled about the characters a lot but there was a character whom was quite interesting. Tae-Soo Park. I don't want to spoil from those wasn't reading the manga yet, I'm just saying that he did a lot of things in the background for the benefit of the band. He's the brain on the team.
Overall, this is a fun manga, but far from a masterpiece. whether you will enjoy it or not is a matter of perspective. if you want some cool stuff and not overthinking things like I used to do, not complicating, just enjoy this manga, then I recommend it.
If you want to read story centered manga then I don't recommend this. Read the Overlord LN instead :)
