The definition of perfection in Shonens!

This work captivated me from the beginning due to the way it deals with things and the characters' powers. Even before the introduction of the concept of nen, the work already hinted at a type of energy (like Ki or Haki).

The work has a very well-crafted plot and the idea of ​​the narrator explaining many things as an extra "character" makes everything an even better experience.

The work itself has always been very good, but from the moment the concept of nen was introduced, things changed to a level of excellence. The concept of nen, for me, is simply one of ... the best-crafted power schemes I've ever seen. I simply couldn't find any flaws in this type of energy. Nen also allows the creation of the most diverse abilities, making it unpredictable what its users can have.

Now, regarding the plot, I like all the arcs of Hiatus X Hiatus, but the one that definitely stood out the most was the Chimera Ants arc. This arc introduces us to one of the best and most complex villains (if we can call it that) that I've ever seen. The clash of ideologies between Meruem and Netero is sensational. I simply didn't know which side to root for because both of their speeches seemed convincing to me. Their fight was one of the great climaxes of the work, the overwhelming force of a being with unimaginable growth against the apex of the human species. This fight was definitely a work of art.

And finally, we arrive at the point of this arc that impressed me the most: Gon X Neferpitou. This fight is surreal, it breaks all the standards of shonen rage because Gon simply sacrifices his entire life just for pure revenge. Seeing someone as pure and kind as him become something like that really gave me goosebumps. The manga is worth it just for this fight (of course everything in the manga is good but this part has something extra). This fight was what made me start watching the anime and later read the manga, definitely the peak of Hunter x Hunter.

Now leaving this arc aside, I really like how the work has a linear path towards something bigger always, Togashi's work in writing the work is sensational.

My final score is 10/10, one of my favorite works (although it took decades to release a single chapter).

Essa obra me cativou desde o inicio dela pela sua forma de lidar com as coisas e dos poderes dos personagens, antes mesmo da introdução do conceito do nen, a obra já deixava indícios de um tipo de energia (como o Ki ou o Haki).

A obra tem uma trama muito bem elaborada e contendo a ideia do narrador explicar muitas das coisas como um "personagem" extra, torna tudo uma experiência melhor ainda.

A obra em si sempre foi muito boa mas a partir do momento da introdução do conceito do nen as coisas mudaram para um grau de excelência. O conceito do nen pra mim é simplesmente um dos esquemas de poder mais bem trabalhados que já vi, simplesmente não consegui ver furo algum sobre esse tipo de energia. O nen tambem possibilita a criação das mais diversas habilidades, tornando imprevisível o que os usuários da mesma podem ter.

Agora sobre a questão da trama, gosto de todos os arcos de Hiato X Hiato mas o que definitivamente mais brilhou foi o arco das formigas quimeras. Esse arco nos introduz um dos melhores e mais complexos vilões (se é que podemos chama-lo disso) que já vi. O embate de ideologias de Meruem e Netero é sensacional, simplesmente não soube pra que lado torcer pois ambos os discursos me pareciam convincentes. A luta deles foi um dos grandes ápices da obra, a força esmagadora de um ser com crescimento inimaginável contra o ápice da espécie humana, definitivamente foi uma obra de arte essa luta.

E enfim chegamos no ponto desse arco que mais me impressionou, Gon X Neferpitou. Essa luta é algo surreal, quebra todos os padrões de rage de shonens pois o Gon simplesmente sacrifica sua vida inteira apenas pela pura vingança, ver alguem tão puro e gentil como ele se tornar algo assim realmente foi de arrepiar. O mangá vale a pena demais apenas por esse embate (claro que tudo no mangá é bom mas essa parte tem algo a mais), essa luta foi o que me fez começar a ver o anime e posteriormente ler o mangá, definitivamente o ápice de Hunter x Hunter.

Agora deixando de lado esse arco, gosto muito como a obra tem um caminho linear em rumo algo maior sempre, o trabalho do Togashi ao escrever a obra é sensacional.

Minha nota final é de 10/10, uma das minhas obras favoritas (apesar de demorar décadas pra lançar um misero capitulo).

Inicio minha review com um pensamento controverso com relação ao restante dos leitores que é: a obra tem se tornado tediosa e repetitiva.

Iniciei a leitura da obra com um bom animo pois a obra era de um gênero e estilo que eu não costumava ler e por isso gostei muito do ritmo dela no inicio, a apresentação de personagens tambem me surpreendeu.

O elenco no geral é muito bom e com uma boa gama de personagens.

As piadas muitas vezes me tiraram risadas sinceras, até pelo fato do Tatsu ser bem maluco sobre as coisas a qual ele gosta ou que a Miku gosta.

Agora falando sobre o inicio da review, eu sinto que a obra tem se tornado repetitiva ultimamente, os capítulos estão ficando curtos e se tornando mais do mesmo, as piadas se repetem toda hora (como o exemplo do Masa ser um vagabundo preguiçoso). Continuarei a ler a obra mas não sinto mais a mesma graça que sentia antigamente, muito disso se deve pela demora de lançamento de capítulos novos e pelos capítulos em si serem curtos o que fez com que eu me desconectasse com o humor da obra.

Em geral minha nota é um 7/10, talvez até o final da obra essa nota varie mas no momento é isso que penso.

One of the best, if not the best, spin-off/prequel I've ever read!

Essa obra é uma prequel da obra principal na qual mostra como o Goblin Slayer conquistou o seu titulo de rank prata e sobre como ele aprendeu as artimanhas que usa atualmente na outra obra. Em geral eu gosto mais dessa prequel do que da obra principal por um único motivo, o Goblin Slayer é muito mais brutal e impiedoso, usando de tudo que estiver ao seu alcance para exterminar os goblins (igual ele era na sua primeira aparição na obra principal).

Em geral essa historia se trata de como o Goblin Slayer lidava com os goblins antes de ter companheiros ou conhecimento brando de diversas coisas. Essa prequel tambem explica algumas das coisas do que acontecem na outra obra (como por exemplo o conhecimento do Goblin Slayer sobre a magia).

Gosto muito dos dois visuais do Goblin Slayer mas o dessa prequel me cativou mais pelo jeito mais rustico e sofrido de suas vestimentas.

Em geral minha nota é 9/10 (tanto de arte como de historia).

My first impression of Goblin Slayer was that it would be another generic medieval genre work, but oh my god, how wrong I was. After finishing the first season of the anime, I ran to the manga and I had different experiences with it than I had with the anime. The manga makes the violent scenes much more bloody and brutal, which makes us feel like the characters could die at any moment (which is very good) and it also brings a much greater dramatic charge. I usually compare this work to Berserk in that it is brutal with the deaths and merciless with those ... who fall into the hands of the goblins. The point that differs from Berserk is that even with these brutalities, the work continues with a less heavy and happier (?) atmosphere, so to speak.

I really like how the traumas affected the characters and how the development of them always has a way of reminding us of these traumas (like Goblin Slayer with the girl's sister-magician at the beginning of the work).

In general, I recommend this manga to anyone who likes gore or just a medieval work with a more aggressive fantasy, as it has a very strong RPG feel (like Baldur's Gate 3, but only with goblins, lol).

My rating for the story is 9/10, while the art is 10/10 (I don't give it 10/10 because if you compare it to a work like Berserk or Vagabond, Goblin Slayer is a little behind).

Minha primeira impressão de Goblin Slayer era que seria mais uma obra do gênero medieval genérico mas oh meu deus como eu estava errado. Apos eu finalizar a primeira temporada do anime eu vim correndo para o mangá e nele tive experiencias diferentes do que tive no anime, o mangá torna as cenas violentas muito mais sangrentas e brutais, isso faz com que a gente sinta que os personagens podem morrer a qualquer momento (o que é muito bom) e consigo trazendo uma carga dramatica muito maior. Eu constumo comparar essa obra com Berserk no ponto de ser brutal com as mortes e impiedoso com os que caem nas mãos dos goblins, o ponto que diverge de Berserk é que mesmo com essas brutalidades a obra segue com um clima menos pesado e mais feliz (?) por assim dizer.

Gosto muito de como os traumas afetaram os personagens e de como o desenvovimento encima deles sempre tem uma forma de relembrar esses traumas (como por exemplo o Goblin Slayer com o mago de irmã da menina no começo da obra).

De modo geral eu recomendo a todos que gostam de gore ou apenas de uma obra medieval com fantasia mais agressiva que leiam esse mangá pois ele traz um ar muito forte de rpg (tipo um Baldur's Gate 3 só que só de goblins kkkk).

Minha nota pra historia é de 9/10 enquanto dá arte é de 10/10 (só não dou 10/10 pois se for comparar com uma obra como Berserk ou Vagabond, Goblin Slayer fica um pouco atras).

Was part 2 really necessary?

I start my review with this question because ever since part 1 of the manga ended, I've been thinking that it should have ended earlier. I say this because it seems like much of what was built in the first part is thrown out with part 2. In my opinion, the manga should have ended in part 1 with a worthy and glorious ending. Part 2 isn't really the worst thing in the world. There are even some good points that are explained, such as what happened to the control demon after the end of part 1. The problem is that ... the good points don't justify this continuation. It seems to me that the work is being dragged out too much.

That said, the manga itself is very good. It avoids the clichés of the genre (despite having some absurd things) and has a good narrative with a linear story that makes the characters transform over time (as was the case with Aki). I really like the first part of the manga because all the characters are charismatic in their own way and contribute a lot to the story, it seems like everything is connected from beginning to end.

Regarding part 2, I feel a bit controversial, sometimes I like the chapters and sometimes I hate them, I think part 2 is not well structured enough to stand on its own, if there wasn't part 1 of Chainsaw Man, it would be hard for the manga to be as successful as it is.

Given these points, I still recommend this manga, I don't know what direction the author will take until the end of the work, but I don't think it will end up being bad, it's just that the manga starts off very good (bordering on perfect) and its quality gradually declines, reaching a "nice" level.

Due to the innovation of the genre and the spectacular development of part 1, my final evaluation would be between 7/10 and 8/10.

Realmente foi necessário a parte 2?

Inicio a minha review com esse questionamento pois desde que acabou a parte 1 do mangá eu vivo tendo esse pensamento de que deveria ter acabado antes, digo isso pois parece que muito do que foi construído na primeira parte é jogada no lixo com essa parte 2. Em minha opnião o mangá deveria ter acabado na parte 1 com um final digno e glorioso, a parte 2 não é realmente a pior coisa do mundo, até tem pontos que são explicados que são bons como por exemplo o que ocorreu com o demonio do controle após o fim da parte um, só que o problema é que os pontos bons não justificam essa continuação, parece-me que a obra está sendo muito arrastada.

Dito isso, o mangá em si é muito bom, foge muito dos clichês do gênero (apesar de ter algumas coisas até absurdas demais) e tem uma boa narrativa com uma historia linear que faz os personagens se transformarem com o tempo (como foi o caso do Aki). Gosto muito da primeira parte do mangá pois todos os personagens são carismáticos a sua maneira e agregam muito para a historia, parece que tudo está conectado do começo ao fim.

No que se refere a parte 2 eu me sinto meio controverso, hora gosto dos capítulos e hora odeio os capítulos, acho que a parte 2 não é bem estruturada o suficiente para se manter sozinha, se não existisse a parte 1 de Chainsaw Man dificilmente o mangá faria todo esse sucesso.

Dado esses pontos eu ainda assim recomendo esse mangá, não sei que rumo o autor dará até o fim da obra entretanto acho que não vai chegar a ser ruim, apenas o mangá começa muito bom (beirando o perfeito) e vai caindo a sua qualidade chegando em um "legalzinho".

Devido a inovação do gênero e ao desenvolvimento espetacular da parte 1 minha avaliação final ficaria entre 7/10 ou 8/10.

A romance or just plain bullying?

Well, when I started reading this book I had a bad impression because everything indicated that it was just a romanticization of the bullying suffered by a more isolated guy, but over time this aspect of the book disappeared. My current opinion about this book is that it had a good ending from the middle to the end and presented important and profound themes, especially the theme of overcoming one's fears, which happens with Nagatoro in judo and with Senpai in his arts (and also with Nagatoro HAHA). This approach to this theme made me not abandon the book, which ... seemed to be going down a path of "more of the same", but I was strangled.

The work was relatively short for this type of romantic comedy (not even reaching 200 chapters) but in my opinion this is a good point because the work knew where to end and not stretching the work to the ends of the universe just to make money (Boku no Hero and Komi-san should have learned this ;-;).

Overall my final evaluation was 8/10 because the beginning did not please me and it is difficult to make people like it precisely because of the initial theme of bullying but if you continue following you will see that the work becomes much better than it initially presented, the ending itself left me content and happy. It was an ending without loose ends too.

Um romance ou apenas mero bullying?

Bom, quando comecei a ler essa obra eu tive a uma pessima impressão pois tudo indicava que era apenas uma obra de romantização sobre o bullying que um cara mais isolado sofria mas com o tempo esse aspecto da obra foi sumindo. Minha opnião atual sobre essa obra é que ela teve um bom desfecho do meio pro final e colocou temas importantes e profundos pontuando principalmente o tema de superação de seus medos que acontece com a Nagatoro no judo e com o Senpai sobre suas artes (e tambem sobre a Nagatoro HAHA), essa abordagem desse tema fez com que eu não abondonasse a obra que parecia ir para um caminho de "mais do mesmo" mas eu estava esganado.

A obra foi relativamente curta pra esse tipo de obra de comedia romantica (nem chegando nos 200 capitulos) mas isso ao meu ver é um ponto bom pois a obra soube onde acabar e não alongando a obra até os confins do universo só pra ganhar grana (Boku no Hero e Komi-san deveriam ter aprendido isso ;-;).

No geral minha avaliação final foi de 8/10 pois o começo não me agradou e é dificil de fazer as pessoas gostarem justamente pela tematica inicial do bullying mas se continuarem acompanhando iram ver que a obra se torna muito melhor do que ela apresentava incialmente, o final em si me deixou contente e feliz. Ficou um final sem pontas soltas tambem.

I believe this doesn't affect everyone but it affected me a lot, especially at the current moment in the manga (chap. 418).

That said, the good part is not completely overshadowed by the bad part, we have as an example of a good part the fact that the author turns characters that seemed insignificant into characters that really affect the direction of the work, such as the doctor himself who examined Midoriya right away. at the beginning of the work.

Anyway, I believe that readers should consider this manga as a Japanese "HQ" because just like the comics, there are things in the manga that are very absurd to believe but there are also many fun and intense things to see.

Comecei a ler Boku no Hero há muito tempo e a história me agarrou a ponto de ser um dos meus mangás favoritos, a ponto de colecionar a obra física também. Com isso posso dizer que a obra é boa mas decaiu em qualidade de história com o tempo, a forma como a obra quer tratar certos personagens como puros mesmo que seja da pior natureza possível é muito frustrante pois isso é muito desconectado da realidade que vivenciamos o que é difícil para MIM aplicar a suspensão da descrença, fazendo com que a obra em última análise se desconecte do meu lado sentimentalista. Acredito que isso não afeta a todos mas me afetou muito, principalmente no momento atual do mangá (cap. 418).

Dito isso, a parte boa não é completamente ofuscada pela parte ruim, temos como exemplo de parte boa o fato do autor transformar personagens que pareciam insignificantes em personagens que realmente afetam o rumo da obra, como o próprio médico que examinou Midoriya logo de cara. no começo da obra.

De qualquer forma, acredito que os leitores devem considerar esse mangá como uma "HQ" japonesa porque assim como nos quadrinhos, há coisas no mangá que são muito absurdas de se acreditar, mas também há muitas coisas divertidas e intensas de se ver.

Recomendo para quem gosta de histórias de heróis, mas não espera uma obra-prima como Berserk ou Vagabond.

Observação: Após eu ler a parte final da obra concluo que foi uma conclusão bem meia boca para uma obra dessa magnitude mas vale a experiência de ler.

This work was the first seinen work I picked up to read and I made the best possible choice to start reading this genre because the manga is extremely well designed and has a depth to its absurdly good story. The depth of the feelings that the characters feel is so much that you can feel what they feel, the anger, the sadness, the desolation, the lack of hope and so on, in my case after reading this work I actually became very depressed because of a while but after that I was able to better understand the work and what ... it wanted to convey in itself. Anyway, for anyone interested in the seinen genre, this is a "mandatory" work to read.

Esta obra foi a primeira obra seinen que peguei para ler e fiz a melhor escolha possível para começar a ler este gênero porque o mangá é extremamente bem desenhado e tem uma profundidade em sua história absurdamente boa. A profundidade dos sentimentos que os personagens sentem é tanta que você pode sentir o que eles sentem, a raiva, a tristeza, a desolação, a falta de esperança e assim por diante, no meu caso depois de ler esta obra eu realmente fiquei muito deprimido por um tempo, mas depois disso eu fui capaz de entender melhor a obra e o que ela queria transmitir em si mesma. Não vou comentar muito sobre a história porque a experiência de ler e descobrir o que acontece é muito divertida. De qualquer forma, para qualquer um interessado no gênero seinen, esta é uma obra "obrigatória" de ler.

In my opinion, the Vinland Saga manga is one of the best Seinen I've ever read because it delves into many philosophical and existentialist issues that humanity carries over time, in addition to not lacking in the immersion aspects of the period and Viking beliefs . I rate Vinland Saga as one of the big three Seinens ever created along with Berserk and Vagabond.
The great turn that occurs in the manga fits very well with the accumulation of consequences generated by the protagonist's decisions, which makes us feel as a reader a heavy atmosphere, we can understand what was going through Thorfinn's head ... when he was young and the what he feels today as an adult. The immersion is such that for me it was as if I was following the course of the story of an extremely close friend.

Na minha opinião, o mangá Vinland Saga é um dos melhores seinen que já li porque se aprofunda em muitas questões filosóficas e existencialistas que a humanidade carrega ao longo do tempo, além de não deixar de ter os aspectos de imersão do período e das crenças vikings. Classifico Vinland Saga como um dos três grandes seinen já criados junto com Berserk e Vagabond.
A grande reviravolta que ocorre no mangá casa muito bem com o acúmulo de consequências geradas pelas decisões do protagonista, o que nos faz sentir como leitor uma atmosfera pesada, conseguimos entender o que se passava na cabeça de Thorfinn quando era jovem e o que ele sente hoje como adulto. A imersão é tanta que para mim foi como se estivesse acompanhando o curso da história de um amigo extremamente próximo.

This is the biggest sadness of the HxH fandom, at least in the anime the work ended up being more rounded than in the manga.

Sinceramente, a única coisa que posso listar como "defeito" nessa obra é que aqui no Brasil o nome do Kurapika é muito bagunçado kkkkkk.

O mais lamentável dessa obra é o fato de que provavelmente não teremos um final para ela já que depois do fim do anime só temos mais um arco no mangá que ainda está longe de acabar, ainda mais porque Togashi está com a obra em hiato por 3 anos e não quer deixar ninguém desenhar além dele. Essa é a maior tristeza do fandom de HxH, pelo menos no anime a obra acabou ficando mais arredondada que no mangá.
