These are two series that share a similarity in how unique they are. With several well-written characters, masterfully told storytelling, and intricate setups with brilliantly delivered payoffs; if well thought-out stories with characters that have lots of 'personality' and 'individuality' are your kinda jam, you'll love them. Lengthy dialogue and exposition are a mainstay throughout, but no single piece of info told to the viewer is redundant; every character is witty and even those that appear to be 'dumb' archetypes quickly prove to have several layers to themselves. Animation and direction are fantastic; it's not difficult to find yourself completely immersed in their seemingly familiar yet uniquely mysterious worlds. Simply put, if you liked one, you're bound to enjoy the other.
