The 1st episode is criminally overhated. If You seen Future Diary/Mirai Nikki then the first episode of this anime should mean nothing to you and it shows, this anime really just sets up the theme of this world and its characters. I find they done the theme well personally, I don’t know why people dislike it. When I first saw the episode it really seemed to impact me personally and I found out easily that the tone of the anime’s world is going to be dark, melancholic, hopeless, bleak.
After the first episode, Everything gets better, the main character is a chad in armor.

I like Super’s Bardock more than Z’s Bardock. I like Super’s Planet Vegeta more than Z’s Planet Vegeta. The idea that Bardock has a soft spot and isn’t a heartless barbarian is much better than I thought. A more reserved and patient Bardock is a lot more better than the angry yet passionate one in Z. A story about a masculine girl trying to be feminine for her boyfriend and a feminine unlucky guy trying to be masculine for his girlfriend while both failing miserably at it all for comedic effect. Even though. I did not enjoy myself with this, even though I do not like the art style for the characters, even though I do not like the certain unnecessary filler during the movie, even though I do not find this memorable.

I’m not a fan of the art style though. And this anime is pretty forgettable and just not memorable or meaningful enough. It’s just a little better version of Mirai Nikki.
nothing more and nothing less. Story follows kinda like it. Hunter Games-like game on a phone where people actually die except it’s on IPhone instead of a fliphone.
