It took me 8 months and 21 days to finally catch up to One Piece (I took one long break along the way).

For those of you who are wondering whether you should give One Piece a try, I encourage you to go do it. Why? Because One Piece changed my life.

From stories, to characters, to sound, to art, One Piece has managed to catch my attention.
Are there no boring parts? Oh, there are draggy parts.
Are there no frustrating parts? Oh, there were, and some of them felt as if they would never end.

Then, you should watch this.

Story (7/10): About the first half of the series was good. The latter episodes, were still good, but they were kind of all over the place. But since the beginning, the story had characters that shouldn't have even met. Despite that, the plot was interesting even though it surrounds a common theme, often seen in other stories like this.

Character (8/10): The friendship in this anime is what makes this anime good. It's rare to find good friends, and even more harder to find those you truly connect with.

This is a super short review. No Spoilers.

In its genre, Death Note is Perfect.

Death Note managed to hold my attention. It lost my attention for a total of 3-4 mins, and that says a lot. I believe what makes Death Note a special story is its straightforwardness with things. The confrontations, the mind games were so straightforward. Every and each episode, this anime held nothing back from its audience. What more, the story introduced us to unique and lovable (some hateful) characters, and made us think of the line between good and evil.
