A bad review for the bad anime (it even doesn't worth a normal review)
I'm not going to tell you about the plot or any details, just go and watch it to learn about how bad the things can be. It lasts only about 20 minutes, it won't take much time.
This anime is well-known and considered to be one of the worst anime ever. Only these 2 facts and very low raitings caught my interest to watch this anime.
I had two reactions during watching it - stupid laughter and puke.

There is nothing special to say about this work. It lasts only 3 seconds and only shows us a sailor writing 活動写真 (katsudou shashin - "moving pictures") and then saluting.
It was produced in 1907 and it is considered to be the first anime in the world. I recommend you to find this short movie (for example, on Youtube) and watch. Though it has nothing special it would be interesting to learn about the history of anime. So, just go and watch it, the very first anime in the world.

The short review for the short anime.
This is the short 4 minute anime made by Yamamoto Junichi, the author of such well-known shorts as Anemone, Melody, Memory. The anime shows us the whole human's life (about 80 years) in just 4 minutes. This is the life, probably the same as the life of many other people, decent and worthy life, "My Life". This is so simple, but so heartwarming. Yamamoto Junichi has a great talent and I hope he will make more other great works. Also I strongly recommend to watch the other his animes that I mentioned in my review. |
