Its the typical anime with the OP MC going off against a world ending demon.
Its as generic as it gets.
It borrows a lot of tried and tested tropes from a lot of Isekai Anime's and "tries" to fit them together, barely.
I can forgive all of this, however the biggest letdowns are certainly
1. Story Telling
2. Character Development

OMG, this identity crisis that this movie has can't be described in words.
It doesn't know what its trying to be - Isekai, Rom-Com, Slice of Life, Supernatural, Pile of utter sh*t..? I don't simply know. The main story revolves around this girl that can't confess her feelings. That's it. even to the end, they just mute it out, leaving the viewer in a limbo. I'd say the animation isn't bad, but that's about where my praise ends. Your time is better served watching "hentai" than this pile of thrash. The End ...

This anime made me cry and gave me hope.
The first season of this show is based around the budding of the relationship of if TsunTsun and Iroha. The story, while pretty straightforward is just two people knowing the quirks of each other. This continues into season 2 but the bulk of the work gets done in S01. S02 revolves around the other friends a but I think that is exceedingly fair. It would be boring to watch something that is based around just a few characters all the time. Especially the supporting characters become much more involved [Gotta love Ishino, she is the ...

Generic, but good.
This show is very generic, but that being said, it doesn't take itself too seriously and you can actually enjoy it with a light heart. Surely there are better and more serious ISEKAI shows, but if you want something to watch after a serious high school romance, then this might just do the trick. The art is decent, but it could've done with more character development. The ISEKAI elements could've been more pronounced, like clearly it is a world that is far behind in technology. But this seems to be an issue with almost every single ISEKAI comedy. Similar shows: Wise Man's Grandchild.

The movie had a lot of potential...a lot.
Let me begin by pointing out the positives : 1. The Art : OMFG its beautiful. Stunning, Gorgeous. I have never appreciated colors more in any anime than in this one. Its truly vivid and wonderful. Excellent work I'd say. 2. The sounds are good too. It could've been better but I'm not complaining. 3. The emotions on the characters are done right. It takes some time to manifest but ultimately its not bad at all. ...

I don't usually write Anime reviews, but in this case I was compelled to do so. Keep in mind that my remarks are based on the show only and not the manga (I haven't read it).
Anyway, the basic gist of the show is romance that becomes a taboo due to unfortunate circumstances. If you ask me personally, this anime expresses human emotions very effectively and explores a topic that I haven't personally seen covered before, and for that reason I love it.
