Okay, I like to read short reviews, that's why I'm writing a short review. Straight to the point.
School days - "simple story getting crazier with every episode" I would say if I were to review this in one sentence. While the plot is all about main character, Makoto Itou, becoming a bigger asshole with every minute, this anime provides decent - nothing more - entertainment when you're really bored and don't know what to do having too much free time.
Entertainment is only one of many factors that should be taken under consideration while rating anime, though. What if one anime has nothing more to offer

This is the anime that hits the spot, breaking through to the hearts of every one watching this wonderful masterpiece. Ano Hana succeeds to find a place in the heart of a child, a teenager, an adult, and probably in the heart of an elder as well. Amazing soundtrack is the trigger that magnifies the amount of tears flowing on grown man's cheeks as one already re-watches the last episode for an unknown time. Heroes teach us to live accepting things that we can't change, yet to change things we can't accept. To top it off - a perfect story about friendship that you unquestionably
