I will make a short review of this anime since it is still ongoing for now.
I am bothered by the age gap, honestly. Japan doesnt hold back by its love for lolicons, no? *sigh*

This anime has potential at least minus the age gap of the FL and ML. Though it looks like there is no romantic (sexual) attraction at play since the FL is just with the ML because of circumstances and the ML is an immature emperor who just receive any kind of love given to him. I am just bothered by his preferences of much much younger than him.

Other than that, ... its a generic Time travel-enemies to lovers-troupe of anime. You may or may not enjoy it. But honestly, i have mixed feelings for it.

If you are into this kind of troupe, HUGE age gap/LOLICON protagonists + with the element of time travel/2nd chance + Enemies to lovers, then you may want to give this a try.

*I may change my rating of this anime once its finished. but now its a 5-6/10 for me

Just finished this amazing anime. And all i can say is it's not EVERYONE's CUP OF TEA.
Why?

First off, don't expect a full pack ACTION mage fights on every episode like some anime we know. This is not SHOUNEN nor considered an ACTION genre anime. I say this leans more on the Fantasy slice of life type of anime. It is kinda slow paced, has many flashbacks of Frieren's experiences with her previous party members and more talking. Not too much lore yet of the world but gives you at least some idea since this is a slice of life fantasy anime.

I think that some people ... who have watched this thought that "WOW! a Action packed anime with mages fighting each other and our protagonist, Frieren is one of the Legendary Mages who was in the Hero's party who defeated the demon king, will be showing off her powers".

NO. this is not that kind of anime. Frieren is your typical magic-otaku elf. this is her slice of life story in that fantasy world. It is a good anime. the storytelling is good. its heartwarming and we get to see that time shouldnt be taken for granted. Frieren teaches us just that.

It shows the aftermath of Frieren's life after the defeat of the demon king. She meets new people, tries to changed her ways by understanding humans and our complexities and trying to adjust herself to emotions.

Just dont let bad reviews to this anime stop you from watching. it is one of the worth watch out there.

Im sorry for fans of this controversial anime/manga/light novel.

I hate Mushoku tensei and i can say it loud now. I tried my hardest to at least give the first season a try. i finished it with very very mixed feelings but more on the disgusted side.

This anime almost had a potential because of its world and mysteries surrounding it but thats all there is to it. I hate the forced Harem it portrays and the sexualization of kids. YES KIDS! ofc in their world their ages doesnt matter but you know, its still disgusting and force. And this season just proves it further more.

Last season ... gave us a glimpse to Rudeus predicament which is he was left behind by Eris because of personal reasons i guess. And he had a very HUGE predicament/personal "problem" which is he cannot get it up now ever since eris' left. WTH? i know he's just human but still, is that it? the plot? is that it?

im good if the whole season doesnt circle around his P Predicament you know. i love in depth stories in anime and especially isekai with their economy, magic etc. i am intrigued by those. But this anime just take the fun out of it. The world has potential. Some characters has potential not just someone, some sicko fan can get their joy out of (you know).

If you enjoyed this anime, then its okay. just dont expect people to like it. many wont. since its this controversial and the themes sometimes strays to the main point of the anime.

If i could compare it to, RE ZERO might be more good than this. and that is to say that i dont even like RE ZERO that much.
But if i could compare the MC, and the stories.. The latter is more better.

if you have plans to watch this anime, watch it at your own risk. There are more better isekai anime themed there that has more in-depth story and world, lovable characters and good building of plot.

Another isekai anime..

This time its a healer with multiple skills and the renowned Substance X. lol

Our protagonist got reincarnated in a fantasy world, wherein healers have a bad rep because of their unusual pricing of healing spells which led to many adventurers having debt or worse, DEAD.

our MC as usual is a soft mannered character, in my opinion easily lovable but also someone you hate because of his vulnerability to be fooled easily and a pushover, which irritates me while watching it. But overall i like his character. Its also not a isekai where romance is the main sell and gives us the reality ... of leveling up and not give an OP MC since we already have so many of those. So this one is very refreshing. Might be slow paced for others but for me his development is good.

Of course since its just a 12 episode long anime, the story was too short. Not explained that much. too many questions to be asked, so hopefully they grant another season and more episodes for things to be explained more. Like the tome he got after defeating the last floor boss. And the explanation of his new title in his status screen.

i would like to see more lore of the world and its characters.

Been a fan since the season 1 aired last 2013 and oh what a journey of waiting impatiently and being frustrated because of that long wait. and finally we are here at the end. And all i got to say is, its ONE HELL OF A JOURNEY. Full of emotions.

not just because of the story itself but because you have loved all aspects of it. The protagonists, antagonists, side characters and all.

The finale was animated from the manga down to the last drop and i enjoyed every single of it. Though i know many watchers (im not calling them fans) hated the ending, its still ... well written and of course its the most logical ending of them all.

Thank you isayama for bringing this masterpiece to life and the studio for animating it so beautifully. The genius songwriters and composers as well.. without the music, well, its not AOT and its incomplete without those elements.


For first time watchers of this anime, i commend you since this is one hell of a journey once you start it.
and for those still in doubt of watching whether its good or bad, just try watching it once, and be a judge yourself.
it may not be the cup of tea for some of us but its a show that you dont want to miss. not just because of the hype but the essence of the story itself.

UNREASONABLE ENDING. NO RELATIONSHIP BUILDUP OR CHEMISTRY BUILD UP FOR MAOU AND CHIHO for their ending to be justified.

... it was a good read at the start but when you finish it and expecting emi and maou together because of many hints dropped by the author in their feelings with each other, and that expectation hits you in the face, well, you just want to throw this on fire and never read it and recommend it to anyone, EVER.

this manga/LN has potentials to be a good read and good romance because of the chemistry of the main protagonist as it was written by the author. But Maou still end up with the girl with the big oppai. smh. No hate for Chiho, but there is no justification in the story of her relationship/chemistry with maou. it just happens. something like that.


so after reading this review, its up to you to read it or not.

Finished the "Hype" series as of now and may or may not be waiting for the next season (depends in the mood).

The part 2 of this hyped anime is good although im still not really into it unlike its isekai counterparts which i wholeheartedly follow and read the light novel and manga. It has its own flaws especially the MC which sad to say i really hate (sorry to say to the fans).
I hate his pervert tendencies cause in reality he is still a 30+ man eyeing and having sexual fantasies to minors (although he is reincarnated in a body of a 11 year old ... or whatever). I dont know what the authors mind is thinking. lol

anyway, the part 2 was good enough for me to make me finish watching it.

The good thing about this anime is it exactly portrayed the events in the light novel. And its a good thing since many anime usually doesnt do that and that is a positive thing.


THIS ANIME IS RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO WATCH A NEW ISEKAI ANIME AND DOESNT MIND WHATEVER THE CHARACTER OR THE STORY IS. Although this is a controversial anime and the MC sucks, i still recommend it to those people who dont mind watching something new but still following the isekai trope and is a fan. this may or may not be on your taste. depends on you. watch at your own discretion.

First off, i like isekai genre animes and had my heart for them ever, and i have watched even those ones with cliché plots and all.
And i must say, Jobless reincarnation is one of those anime that just doesn't give me that rush and feels whenever i watch a good isekai anime or even any good anime at that.

I have been eyeing this one since the day it was release and hold off in watching until now. And i am really disappointed and kind of disgusted by the MC and some of the scenes here. Though im not new in ecchi or even the smut ... genre of anime and manga, this particular anime really gets on my nerves at times.

Maybe because the MC is a scum through and through. Even have the audacity to ogle his eyes to minors (though in this he's a middle aged man reincarnated in the body of a teenage boy). Its a sight that some will find uncomfortable and hard to really watch.

Maybe we are used to MC's that are lovable and all, even Ainz is lovable in my eyes though he really is a villain LOL.
But Rudeus is not. I really dont like him and i dont find anything to like him in anyway unless he changed his ways and not become a scum (haven't read the LN).

Here are my summarization of this anime:


STORY is half half. Half good - Half bad, some may like it, some won't. I cant say if its the typical isekai story since it has elements that is all on its own. it is serious at times and comedic on the second. But its uncomfortable to watch in my opinion because of the attitude of the MC. annoying and scum (sorry, just my opinion), not likable. Rudeus is reliable a few times but this anime really emphasizes on his age and his past life being incorporated most of the time in the anime and it becomes annoying. especially when he acts very perverted, to the point of annoyance.


CHARACTERS are written well but the MC simply annoys me. Eris is the typical tsun, kinda annoying but nothing beats rudeus in that aspect. some of them are lovable, some are not. just judge them if you got the time to watch it.

ANIMATION is good. i like the designs of each character the colors and all. it really was well drawn.

MUSIC is very good. i really like the opening song transitioning in the story scenes.

For now i can only judge this anime based on my own preferences, just watch at your own risk.

I have re-written this review once more since i have watch this anime until its latest episode while writing this.

I can say that i LOVE this anime. its one of those wholesome ones that just gives you butterflies and makes you giddy and hungry while watching.

Our MC here was summoned together with some students to become heroes that will save the land (as any typical isekai story is, right?).
And Mukoda, our MC, had his skill appraised and it was not your typical skill of a hero. [Net Supermarket/Food Menu], a skill he received when summoned, allows him to summon a huge online shopping browser ... that only he can see and he can order food or products from his world, which is Japan, on that online store and have it "delivered" to him.
Since this skill was something that even those who summoned Mukoda where unfamiliar, they thought that it was a useless skill. And Mukoda felt it was not some skill to be used in combat. This is where his adventures begin when he met a Fenrir named Fel and formed a familiar contract with him in exchange for food.

Its not your typical isekai with fights and all since this anime's focus really is on the food that Mukoda cooks and serves. Though this anime doesnt stray its path on its original story/plot. The food scenes in this anime really is God-tier.

And if you are one of those that just wants a wholesome, slice of life-ish anime, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE.

I binged watch this just today since i have seen some clips of yukimaru and fena before and i thought to myself, "Wow these two are cute", and after watching this show, i can say that i mostly enjoyed watching because of the interaction between them.

The anime's plot is about a girl named Fena who had a past wherein she was saved by a boy named Yukimaru from a blazing ship thus throwing her to fend on her own, not knowing the fate of yukimaru but believe that she will see him again. Until on the fateful day that she would be sold off to ... a rich noble, she was rescued and thus the story continues forward.

on the first few episodes, i was really hooked, no lie. I like the pacing of the story since it got the mystery essence to it which you will ask yourself who are these characters and their roles in the story. At the last few episodes, i kind of get confused as to what the story really is about. And with all the "BIG" revelations, like the purpose of eden, Fena's role, etc etc, I STILL DONT GET IT.

The story is superficial AF. Like it was too RUSH. The whole story was fitted to a 12 episode only anime. And there are many loopholes, questions unanswered.

Anyway, this anime is something that i can't easily recommend easily to anyone since its really a rollercoaster.

one thing that i ONLY liked with this anime is the relationship of Yukimaru and Fena. The ending was one of the best scene for me especially Yukimaru's smile and his confession to Fena. Loved those two.
