Firstly, as an opening, I would recommend this anime if you have followed the previous seasons.
But if you expect an epic war full of deception, I say no. In fact, it feels like a storyteller could summarize the contents of season 1 in 3 hours and you wouldn't miss the point of the story.
This fifth season was a slap in the face for me.
1. This season shows that the kingdom Xin is in is not a holy kingdom without sin. And this season hit me with the bitter reality, that I am a civilian.

mirror figure that shows every supporting actor around him. Each of his achievements makes us remember another character.
In the first season I really didn't like Wang Yi (Ou Ki) he was the general I hated the most, he looked like a general who didn't care about the troops. However, the backstory and intimacy of the story with him made me really admire him. Even when his death made me very sad, this hit me because I wondered why people used to cry when their favorite character died. I felt like it was a weirdo, but Wang Yi's death enrolled me into that group of weirdos.
When Xin managed to defeat Pang Nuan (Hou Ken), this reminded me again of Wang Yi. And this is a solace for my sadness, this is like sweet revenge.
In the third season when the final wall was attacked, I felt dislike for the Qin generals because they were very cynical towards Huan Yi (Kan Ki). They couldn't put in more effort, but really didn't like Huan Yi because he was a former bandit. At the same time I felt moved by the presence of the Qin emperor (Ei Sei) on the battlefield.
But in the fifth season I was slapped again. Huan Yi is not a respectable person. I believe in my heart that civilian casualties in times of war are inevitable. But seeing Huan Yi's behavior towards civilians made me angry. I realized that as a civilian I don't like war. Even though in my heart I felt that war was an option for resolution, in the fifth season of Kingdom I really realized that I hated war.

The anime looks cute but that's all.
In general, this is almost the same as the anime of overpowered men surrounded by women.
I'm not even sure this is an Isekai anime.
Let me explain, in this anime we are introduced to the main character who is said to come from a fantasy world. Then he was called by the kingdom as a potential hero. But then the royal looked very stupid by just throwing away the main character and even trying to kill him.

continues to be sold, like when he uses a skill and then he is confused about whether the skill is very strong and this keeps repeating itself. He seems unable to fight through dialogue but his fighting experience is unimaginable.
And this is why I say this anime is probably not Isekai.
1. The world he lives in now has very close similarities, but the main character looks as if he is too stupid to understand it.
2. When he teleported to his home world, that didn't happen. For those of us who are watching, it feels like it's impossible, especially because of the infinity stats. This means that the reason he "failed" when he teleported was because he was already at his destination. It's like you're in the woods in Canada, but you don't know. Then you have the teleportation skill and you say "teleport me to Canada" of course you won't move because you are already/are currently in Canada.
In my opinion, this is a fantasy anime that sells beautiful girls and strong main characters with stupid frills infiltrated as if this is an isekai story.

Disclaimer first, if you fall into the categories below, I emphasize to you not to watch this anime.
Because you won't get the anime you want.
1. You are looking for a fantasy anime with action scattered all over the place all the time.
2. You are a person who likes mystery and psychological anime.
3. You are bored with generic fantasy stories.
4. You want an epic life story journey.
I say that this anime deserves to be ranked first in 2023 and 2024 early. Not because the anime surpasses all existing anime, but because the anime provides a standard taste for the genre where most fantasy anime in this

year have a bitter taste because they mix a lot of spices in it. This is like a soup that is not bad or also very expensive, this is a taste that you should be able to find in everyday life and everywhere but somehow you can't.
1. Firstly, this is not a fighting anime, where you will see the enemy hitting the main character and the main character hitting back until both of them can't take it anymore. This anime uses magic and not magic that you don't care about, the concept of magic is a normal feeling that you should imagine when fighting wizards in fantasy stories or games. This means that each attack will have a big impact but will have a short duration in a limited area. Even fighting indoors will not damage the surroundings until they leave the building. Even the impact that looks so grand will make you ask how the room came to be intact. So if you are expecting a very intense fight where they exchange attacks, forget about that. Anime ini bukan Fullmetal Alchemist series.
2. If you really like mystery, psychology and philosophy anime like Kino no Tabi, Detective Conan, and so on. Then forget to watch this anime. Unlike the genres above you won't have the structure of the world explained through Dialogue, you won't get the philosophy explained in depth. You need the glass to be half empty beforehand so you can understand. Here you yourself must be able to put together every incident, find character development, look for the causes and effects that occur. No one will explain to you all the time what happened, why it happened, what developments happened, when it happened, where it happened, and how it happened, through dialogue like Conan. If you expect to get an explanation so you understand what's going on through dialogue you'll be confused at some junctions.
3. If you hope that this anime provides an unusual perspective on the story then forget it. This is a standard story where you will see humans and Elves look like good people and Demons are evil creatures without consideration and research. You won't be able to find a story where the Demon Race turns out to be good and humans despise them. In this anime, Demons are a pure evil race and you will be presented with that reality in the anime. It's up to you to be ready to accept that reality or not. You won't get the fact that you can live side by side with Demons in Frieren's world. The world in the anime is very standard bedtime fairy tale fantasy.
4. The journey in the story is also not very deep in each episode. In general, you will continue to be faced with the main character. You won't find the development of the supporting actors very intense. You see the main character talking, remembering the past, and talking in the present based on his memories. You are almost like accompanying a grandmother (Frieren) who has have Alzheimer's. He traces his past life on his journey in the present. So each character will not get an in-depth explanation so you can love and sympathize with them. Apart from Frieren, you will only be given one or two scenes or portions that explain their background, but you won't be too attached to them. So if you are asked to study Frieren's story or that person, you are not sure about that person. Because you still want to know what happened to the main character. And when you start to become disinterested in her you don't have a supporting cast that you want to dig deeper into.
So in conclusion, if you hope to get something big because this anime is ranked 1st then you have too high expectations. You will fall too hard, therefore you lower your expectations to the level that this is a boring, ordinary fantasy anime. So when you watch it you will think "It wasn't that bad after all."

I like anime about cooking, even though I can't cook. And this anime is one of the anime that makes me like this genre even more. They don't make this anime exaggerated, and you can still understand the setting. The story given is quite unique and not too forceful. You are not forced that their food is the best in the whole world. Each character in the anime also has a very unique story background that is different. And the most interesting thing is you feel like you know them, you wish you could get along with them. even though you weren't there.

This is a Harem anime, and you can't lie about it. The Main Character is classified as over power but doesn't make you think he is over power. You can watch this anime to fill your spare time, at least there hasn't been Fan Service so far so you'll be safe watching it. The jokes in anime really aren't for just anyone. It even feels like Circle Jokes. If you're not in the circle, you're just a freak. Then the story setting is very bad, not properly directed, and unimportant. You may have seen people tell a story about a film, then the audience felt that they had watched the film. The second season of this anime, so far has had a good impact. Unlike the first season which was very messy, in this second season they are much tidier. However, the jokes they present are a bit excessive. I feel they don't predict the outside market, I'm not Japanese but I feel the jokes they give are like father jokes. If you have free time just use it to see other isekai anime.

In Season 1 we were shown how the world in the story works. Whereas the Building of the Main Character is very minimal, in fact you could say that the first season didn't tell much about the main character. The anime really shows how the Vikings you want to see. How can you not side with anyone throughout the story. Of course this is not a good reference for studying history. But you can feel the horror of the Vikings like the rumors you've heard so far. You can really feel war, and for the first time you might think you don't want it. Most war-themed anime make you arrogant, you fantasize you could do more if you were there. But in Vinland Saga you will think, you don't want to be there.
