This is my first time ever writing a manga recommendation and I just want to say that this manga is truly a worthwhile read
I will not elaborate much neither do will spoil so here it goes......
''I sold my life for ten thousand yen per year'' Follows the life of our pathetic main Kusunoki, a university student who had big dreams as a child but had lost all his spark along the way
Broke in every way possible, Kusunoki went outside to sell some of his stuff and he was told if he were desperate for money then there is a store that buys a
...
person's lifespan, time and heath
Here he goes doing the worst thing possible and sold his entire 30 years of remaining life for 300000 yen, roughly 3000 dollars
Then we are introduced to our female lead, Miyagi, a girl sharing the same fate as Kusunoki, they are the same in one way or the others both of them unwanted. Kusunoki had 3 months left in his hands to live and Miyagi's purpose was to obverse over him so that he wont go crazy over shits
The story takes off and shows us the slowly building relationship of the two leads in between many events happen and whatnot
I have never once felt so emotional over a piece of fiction. It sure does not fit with everyone's taste but I guarantee that it will not be a waste of time
The ending lelt a feeling of uncertainty to me as I just stared at the ceiling of my room and was relieved it ended but also sad as I could not see more to it. I never was so emotional over a manga, guess I just read it in the right time , it certainly is a very depressing and sometimes dark themed and for those of you who tried to relate with this remember no life is worthless
Thank you if you have read it this far
