How to even put this into words it beyond me and probably will be for a long time as my heart tatters from the sheer emotion this anime has thrust into my being. The first episode didn't strike me as anything special, just kind of throws you into what you think is the middle of the story but I can tell you this much, for being Edo style anime, this show sure packs a punch in the face, the heart and the soul.

What can I say that hasn't been said before? A lot, but for the sake of the review I will keep it brief.
This anime and manga is amazing, simply put. It's hilarious, heartfelt, pulls at your heartstrings and makes you anxious all at the same time. Something a lot of anime's try hard to do but often fail. At first I thought it was just another run of the mill isekai but after two episodes I was hooked and by then end I wanted more. This one definitely threw me off-guard a lot and I couldn't be happier. And now I want a intelligent sword ...

First off, I feel like the people who leave reviews on this are spoiled little 12 year olds who hate anime in general or spoiled little 40 year olds who are hung up on dragon ball super and think persona is a good jrpg series lol.

Typical zero to hero Shonen trope with no character building story or plot... is what I see written by people who I've seen write similar reviews about some pretty top tier anime so I can guarentee they think sailor moon is the goat or are paid by opposing studios to crush other studios. Either way, this anime is a LITERAL GEM! I don't click on random anime and generally find something amazing like some examples are jobless reincarnation, bofuri, demon slayer, log horizon and one piece, etc.. but this show ...

What can I say that won't upset half of the anime world? Nothing, because this show is beyond anything I have ever seen before!
Words can't express how amazing this series is and you will not change my mind. This is the best Anime/Manga series ever made! The char dev, the back stories, the action, the emotion, the empathy. It's perfection at its finest. From the darkest brooding scenes to the lighthearted scenes to Zenitsu's scardy cat drama queen fits then suddenly you hear "thunder clap and flash" and you know the ish is going down, to inosuke bashing everything in a war with himself to prove ...

Odd. I see a lot of bad reviews on this series but I couldn't disagree with them more. At surface level it does seem like just another sub-par Isekai with a OP MC and sadly these bad reviews only see it from the surface.. But under the surface there is something special and if you can't see it or understand it then you either A: watched a couple episodes then made your review or B: have really bad taste in anime and probably think persona 5 is the best jrpg ever made Lol!
But I digress, this show is definitely special and has a heavy hearted ...

I can clearly say I am appalled.. Well after reading most of the reviews that is.
You weebs clearly have no taste and are so conformed to your own status quo that you will never see the sky for the clouds. First off, this show is beautiful. It grips you in ways that most Anime today does not, unless you're into the same boring High School Drama Anime that seem to be popping up everywhere.
