I rate my animes mostly subjectively, depending on my overall enjoyment of the show or how much I've been able to take from a show. Still, when something has a big enough noticeable objective flaw (e.g. shitty production quality, mediocre writing, and too cliche) to interrupt my enjoyment then it deserves a dip in its score.

However, I mostly rarely find that to be the case as I'm relatively easy to please and can tolerate most shit that I watch whether it be cringe, corny, or pretentious. My ratings mostly comes down to whether it fits my taste or if the show graces me with something truly profound.

The bottom line is, if I get so much as a modicum of entertainment, I'll rate it a 7 at the very least, or if the show is shit and the negatives outweigh the positives or it simply isn't in line with my taste, then it gets a 6 or under.

And as a rule of thumb, to each his/her own. What's good for me may not be the same for you. Let's just enjoy, aight?
