Rascal does not dream of a Bunny Girl Senpai or lets just call it "Bunny girl" because I am not going to use that long name over and over again.
First of all, if you are actually going to watch this show because of it's name, I hate to break it to you but this show has nothing to do with bunny girls. Its a bait. Yep! The writer baited you into watching something thats probably the anime of the year(atleast for me).
Story: 9/10
The plot is actually pretty simple. A cheeky protagonist, Sakuta Asusagawa, helping out different girls in their problems. Problems known as
...
Puberty syndrome. Now puberty syndrome itself means, "Abnormal experiences rumored on the internet to be caused by sensitivity and instability during adolescence".
I really loved how they brought in different life problems that almost every teenager faces in this world. Problems varying from bullying to self harm and even changing yourself just for the sake of others to going through stress and depression. Teenagers go through so much in the school days and this show actually takes that concept and turns it into a supernatural-Quantum physics related story to make things interesting. Now I know what you might be thinking, "A guy helping out girls who are going through supernatural phenomenas? What is this? A new season for Monogatari?". Well to be honest yeah it does copy a little bit from Monogatari and a bit from Haruhi Suzumiya and from Oregairu as well. The best part is the writer took all these ideas and made something amazing which is not a trainwreck. The story itself is quite enjoyable and all those Quantum Physics/Mechanics refrences(dont worry business students, they actually explain those references) made it even great.
In the end Sakuta just has to find all the solutions to the problems and the syndromes that his friends, sister and girlfriend is facing in order to live a peaceful life. One wrong move could cost him something big.
Animation: 7/10
The animation was actually pretty good in the start but it went downhill once the show started to bloom. Now I dont blame cloverworks for this because they decided to raise the budget of the movie(Sequel to this show) and dropped the budget of the show itself. It was a pretty good move to ensure that the movie turns out to be great because it contains the best arcs of the novels. Though I still dropped the ratings because I am sucker for animation and artstyle and it started to lack in the end and you can even notice how strange the facial expressions of the characters started to be. But alot of people will not mind this because the main focus of this show is on the story.
Music: 8/10
The opening and the endings both are freaking gold. No, they are PLATINUM GOLD(A monogatari reference). I don't think I have even skipped both the op and ed once. The best thing about the openings and endings were that the Voice Actresses used to sing the op and ed of their respective arcs. I have no idea if there is much background music in this show, even if there is, its not noticeable.
Characters: 8.5/10 (Bit of a spoiler)
*Sakuta Asusagawa: The main male lead of Bunny girl and the rascal which the name of the show suggests. The whole story revolves around him and there is not much screen time for other characters apart from their respective arcs and apart from our bunny girl senpai. Sakuta for me was a cheeky guy but he is a normal guy, a student just like all of us. There is a limit to how much a person can take and even Sakuta had his limits and in the end he did bursted out. He helped out all his friends when they were going through the puberty syndrome and I wish I had a friend like him in real life. Sakuta is probably the male of the year for me.
*Sakurajima Mai: The main female lead of the show and our very own Bunny girl senpai which the name of the show suggests. Guess the name is not a bait after all huh? No, it is. Mai is tsundere character that alot of people compare to Senjougahara from monogatari but she isn't even close to Senjougahara. The character designer was the same as Oregairu due to which people even compare her with Yukinon but again Mai senpai is fire while Yukinon was ice, they are so different. The only screentime she gets after her arc is all the romantic situations which the writer created.
*Other Characters: All the other characters were briefly explained in their respective arc and we got to know alot about them due to their puberty syndrome. But every character had a little screen time once their arc ended which is why I'm not going indepth about the side characters.
Enjoyment: 9/10
Now this show, even though I know it might seem to be a rip off of some of my favourite shows, it was still written by the author from one of my favorite show, "The pet girl of sakurasou". Personally I enjoyed this show alot. I enjoyed the heck out of it because how you could relate to some of the things in reality. It was just awe-inspiring.
Personal statement:
Cyber bullying, self harm, dual personality, stress and depression now that is something that alot of writer dont even try to talk about. The show couldn't have been better for me as it was perfect just the way it is. An astounding protagonist with a tough life and teaching us all about how you should never give up. There is always a solution, doesn't matter how much time it takes, find the solution and solve the problem. At times you may feel down but you should always get back up and fix yourself because there are other people who need you. I can't wait for the movie and I am super hyped about it.
I'll give it an overall rating of 9/10.

*I don't even think this movie had something that could be called a spoiler*
First of all, you dont need to watch Hibike Euphonium to watch this movie. It is a totally independent story.
Directed and made by the same studio behind, "A Silent Voice", Kyoto Animation and Yamada did a pretty good job with this one aswell. I am a sucker for Orchestral Music so I might end up being a little biased.
A story about two girls, who are the best in their music class, were chosen to play at a national level competition. Mizore(obue player) and Nozomi(Flute player) decide to play a piece
...
called "Liz and blue bird". Its a piece dedicated to the story of Liz, a lovely yet lonely girl who fell in love with a blue bird and wanted it to stay with her forever.
The story actually tells us about the relationship of these two girls and what choices they have to make in order to move forward. They have to let go the things they love in order to do whats right and sometimes it is the right choice to let go what you love. Mizore thought of herself as Liz and Nozomi as the blue bird. Mizore had to make the hardest choice to let her blue bird go in order to move on. There wasn't much room for character development because I think the show focuses on that part. Other than that the story was pretty good. Though the start was really slow but the buildup till the end cuts it out for me.
Animation and Artstyle were amazing, just what you would expect from KyoAni. From the character designs to the instruments. What I absolutely loved about it that the actual story of Liz was told to us aswell and not just that but the whole animation and artstyle used to change the moment Liz's story started which made a really great impact on the movie itself.
Sound tracks and the background music were phenomenal. It is a movie about music so ofcourse there will be focus on the music. The last scene where they actually perfected the ending of the piece and the whole Orchestra played in sync, to be honest, I watched that scene atleast 3 times. It was beautiful, from start to finish, from the animation to the music.
I really liked this movie. One of the best movies that came out this year and I would definitely recommend it to you guys. I am seeing alot of posts about Maquia and Pancreas but haven't seen one post about this which is quite suprising.

*Will TRY to keep it spoiler free(thou I wont be able to describe myself fully that way) and short(not)*
Name: Guilty Crown
Season: 1
Episodes: 22
*Opinions from others matter alot when it comes to your thinking. If someone praises a show and you felt it wasn't that good then you are left disappointed while if someone tell you to not watch a show, a high chance you wont start it or be in doubts but if you end up liking that show, thats a real good feeling tbh. When it comes to Guilty Crown, I was disappointed because of 2 friends. *
PLOT:
Set in Tokyo in the year 2039,
...
a decade has passed since a mysterious outbreak known as the "Apocalypse Virus" killed thousands of people and brought Japan to its knees - a disaster that is called "Lost Christmas". Since that time Japan has lost its independence, and has become a martial state governed by an international organisation known as GHQ. Ouma Shu, an awkward young man who is a fan of the pop-group Egoist, whose lead singer just happens to be pure waifu-material girl with pink hair, Inori Yuzuriha.
Inori Yuzuriha, a key member of Funeral Parlor(a terrorist organization), runs into the weak and unsociable Shuu Ouma during a crucial operation, which results in him obtaining the "Power of Kings"—an ability which allows the wielder to draw out the manifestations of an individual's personality, or "voids." Now an unwilling participant in the struggle against GHQ, Shuu must learn to control his newfound power if he is to help take back Japan once and for all.
STORY:
For me, the story could've been better. It wasn't bad but it was not that good either.
A normal high schooler got superpowers after he met a beautiful girl and has to save the world even though he doesn't want to be a part of it. Thats pretty much it for the first half of the show and the first half was actually the good part of the story. After a certain incident, our protagonist got serious because the writer had to do it for "Character Development" and for the story to move forward(the term for this is Dues Ex Machina writing) and then started the 2nd half of the show. For the uninformed, Deus Ex Machina writing is defined as:
"an unexpected power or event saving a seemingly hopeless situation, especially as a contrived plot device in a play or novel"
Imo, the story went downhill in the 2nd half. The hype moments were real, the action happened, alot of questions were answered(not all) but still it wasn't enough.
Talking about the romance, I think it was written by someone who has yet to discover how people fall in love because this show literally has the worst romantic feelings between characters. And ehm*Incest*ehm.
The ending was bad aswell. There were alot of death flags raised but none of them actually happened. Maybe the reason for me to think this way was that 2 friends of mine told me it has a sad ending and I ended up expecting alot from the show and it didn't deliver even half of it.
I did enjoy the story itself as it was something different - haven't watched code geass or I might be complaining even more - and interesting but it could've been much better if it wasn't rushed or alot of questions weren't left unanswered.
Cant explain more or else I might end up spoiling alot.
ANIMATION/ART STYLE:
The first best part of the show was indeed its animation and arstyle. The fight scenes were amazing and everything from the start to the end was done PERFECTLY. That's what you would expect from Production I.G. Its one of those shows that has an amazing arstyle but bad characters.
MUSIC:
The second and the last BEST thing about this show. I rarely listen to the openings and endings of a show but this show made me listen to them. Both the ops and eds were amazing. The BGM(background music) was good aswell. Inori's singing was one of the main reasons why I watched this show till the end.
CHARACTERS:
The characters of this show were kind of the worst characters ever. There was only one character who actually stood out for me and that was Ayase(a supporting character) and she was the best girl of the show. *FIGHT ME* Anyways,
¤ Ouma Shuu: The main protagonist and one of the worst characters that I have ever seen who just runs away for half the show and suddenly gets serious and destroys everything and then saves the world anyways.
¤ Yuzuriha Inori: The main female character of the show who is cute and speaks in low tune (because Kayano Ai❤(her voice actress- another character which she voiced would be Persia from Boarding school Juliet and Mashiro from Pet girl of Sakurasou)), basically a top-tier waifu material. The only problem I had with her was her romantic feelings towards Shuu which came outta nowhere and we never even understood why. I could complain about her personality of a cardboard aswell but that has an explanation in the show itself.
¤ Tsutsugami Gai: Another main character of the show who went 0-100 real quick due to his love being revived? In short alot of things went unanswered and the plot holes were real.
Personal Enjoyment:
Judging by the amount of complains in the review, you might be thinking that I hate this show to death but to be very honest, I have no idea. This show was good? This show was awful?. It was something in between, even though I did enjoyed it. Its pretty confusing. An interesting plot but with poor writing and characters and alot of plot holes. The only thing which actually saved this show was it's animation and music which actually made the show enjoyable for me.
Score:
Story: 6/10
Characters: 5/10 Apart from Ayase(the best girl of the show)
Music: 9.5/10
Animation/ArtStyle: 9/10
OVERALL SCORE: 7/10
I wont recommend this show to you, if you want some fantastic writing and badass characters and character development. But if you dont mind that at all then you will end up enjoying this show. Thats pretty much it.

Anime: Haikyuu!
Episodes: 60 (3 seasons)
Genre: Comedy, Drama, School, Shounen, Sports
*Will try not to give any spoilers even though it won't effect it as anyone who'll start watching it will know whats going to happen in the end.*
Haikyuu! Its one of the first anime I watched when I started my journey of becoming a weeb. A friend recommended it to me and told me he gave it a 10/10 rating(which is quite a shock because he doesn't like much stuff and is a blogger).
The main plot of the anime is quite simple. Hinata shouyo fell in love with volleyball when he saw the game of the
...
famous player known as "The Little Giant". He was called the little giant because of his short height and how he would destroy all the teams in front of him. Now starts the journey of Hinata to surpass the little giant because of the similarity they have in heights. But in order to do so he needs to overcome alot of hurdles, one of which was to cooperate with his sworn rival, Kageyama Tobio, who is now his team mate. After becoming friends with Tobio, he now has to find plays and tricks to compensate for his lack of height but due to his athleticism, stamina and passion he might be just able to do it.
All the three seasons were amazing. Even though it had a typical shounen MC who likes to create hype, the show itself perfectly balances on every supporting- no, even the extra charectors. Every charector had a back story which was delivered in a way that it wont clash with the main plot or be called a filler. To be honest, the second season was my favourite as it showed how much they changed after their major loss in the first season. They practiced hard, tried new things, synchronised which each other and destroyed other teams together. The charector developments in this show were amazing aswell as it not only focused on the main charectors. Heck, the favourite charector for almost every viewer is a supporting charector, Kei Tsukishima(or as i like to call him, Chestor of linkin park).
The charector designs were perfect. The voice acting brought the emotions out so well that for a moment I actually felt that I was sitting in the crowd cheering for them. Probably one of the best voice acting shows I have ever seen. It had a nice touch of comedy to it aswell. The adrenaline rush you would feel once the background music kicks in when all the players are jumping around is something, I can't describe it and you'll only know once you watch it. The art style and the animation were top-notch that would easily grab the attention of anyone, as expected of PRODUCTION I.G, who also made Attack on Titan, Kuroko no Basuke, Kimi ni Todoke, Psycopass and some other great shows.
Though there might be some cons but in my opinion, the pros cut them out easily so I didnt even saw them. If you guys did saw something worth mentioning then do tell me.
If it comes to sports anime, Haikyuu! takes the cake very easily. Its not your typical sports anime which shows how overpowered highschool kids are(*cough*kuroko no basuke*cough*), its take on realism is something that makes it one of the top shows out there. Though the show it self is incomplete due to the lack of resources from the manga it still gives us quite a good ending. The manga has enough chapters now to create a full a season and we just might get a season 4 in the coming year or two because I really want to see Nekoma and Fukurodani(two great teams made up of supporting charectors) go head to head in the nationals.
It never fails to amaze me. I have watched it 3 times now and I have never been bored by it. Its the only shounen show thats in my top 10 list(yes, I have watched dbz and naruto).
The seasons are as follows.
Season 1: 25 episodes
Season 2: 25 episodes
Season 3: 10 episodes
For me the ratings go as:
Story/Plot: 9/10
Charectors/Charector development: 10/10
Animation/Art style: 10/10
Music(op, ed and background sound tracks) 9/10
Overall rating: 9/10
