Call me Zate will you? I'm down with weeb-sickness
I've started watching anime in 2010, can't believe it's been more than 10 years since. My first anime was Naruto which I still hold dear to my heart. I've been watching anime for so long I don't even remember what came after, but one thing I knew is that I was stuck in the shonen cycle. I barely watched anything that isn't shonen, but I'm starting to change that slowly but surely.
I've started manga a few years after anime, if I'd have to say a year it would be around 2015. Since then I have begun to collect physical manga volumes, growing a collection of over 300. I am really proud of it, and it's probably the most valued thing I own.
I call myself a weeb often, usually as joke, but it's undeniable that I watch more anime than your common folk. The one thing that has stayed constant these 10+ was my love for anime, even if I wasn't watching any for a prolonged time I would check up on new series regularly. So I can say that I've never stopped being an anime fan, and I think that's indeed something.
Most emotional moments
Scenes in anime that impacted me the most. This can range from despair to hype to just joy. Anime is one of the mediums that gets the most emotion out of this cold and broken heart. These are the moments that made me feel somethings be it terrify me, made me cry or filled me with pure happiness.
Favorite Villains
The big bads that are doing the bad real good and are keeping me thoroughly entertained. Villains that are really fun to watch or are really relatable. An antagonist is usually the centerpiece of the story and these are the ones that did that job the best (imo).
