Mixed Feelings
As soon as I saw the title and the cute little sister, I jumped into the anime with all my enthusiasm. I hadn't expected much, as I already had a good idea of what would happen—and it did.

I was looking for an anime that contained typical anime humor, drama to some extent, and some depth. Well, I can say that I found what I was looking for!
Hikigaya is a loner type who wants to be lonely, not excluded by others. I can see that this state stems from the protagonist's past actions. If you experience misery continuously without any stress-relieving events, you would end up being a reject like Hikigaya.
Sometimes, he explains his observations on people, and I completely agree with him. He is right about the 'nice girl' issue. You can’t fall into a trap like that as a man.

This anime really has a lot in common with K-ON! It's like a modern version with a touch of anxiety. After watching a few gore-heavy, seinen, and seishun animes, this one has made me appreciate moe. I can definitely relate to Hitori. But one thing I want to emphasize is that being anxious can be far more painful than how it's depicted in the anime.

I'm not going to blame society because it already is. Girls with anxiety are luckier than men because they receive support in almost every aspect. Well, there could be exceptions. For men, you'll often be cast aside like a faceless ghost ...
