Casshern: Robot Hunter was a random pick, and I have not watched any Casshern series prior to this. While watching, I realized that I was trying to figure out what is what for the most part. Not sure if it was due to the lack of having watched any prequels or that the series itself was a little confusing. I found it quite hard to get into the story.
The art of this series was okay. I wish the art would put a little more emotions into the characters' eyes though, but overall the style was quite in sync with the other anime productions during that

Bungou Stray Dogs 3rd Season
(Anime)
add
Bungou Stray Dogs 3rd Season was without a doubt another fabulous production. The suspense in this season was incredible. It kept me on the edge of my seat most of the time, and I could not predict what might happen next in most scenarios. The chemistry between Atsushi and Akutagawa had been further enhanced, and it was fun listening to their banter while trying to work together at the same time. The fact that the makers made sure to include backstories to almost every character was much appreciated. The soundtrack for this season was stunning. It made the whole already great experience of watching so

After watching Bungo Stray Dogs 2, I have nothing but praise for this series. So many mysteries and questions about Dazai's past that were left unexplained in season one have come to light. It has been exciting to see the chemistry between Dazai and Akutagawa when they were still in the same organization back then. And now, we also get a chance to see some new chemistry between Akutagawa and Atsushi. It was a joy to finally see some improvements and positive actions coming from Atsushi at last. In my opinion, Akutagawa is the star of this season; the first impression I had of this

For something that was made in the 1960s, I would think that this was quite nicely done. It brought much nostalgia from my childhood, bringing back memories of 'action speaks louder than words' kind of animation that made anime easy for kids who might not have been able to understand language proficiently during that time to even understand and enjoy the wonders of anime.
Story-wise, I do admit that it was a little lackluster, and the MC could have been a little less boring. The music that accompanied various scenes was all very to the point, however, and provided much enjoyment while watching the show. It was ... Jan 16, 2025

This is one of the best feel good series for me when I just wanted to watch something slow and relaxing. In this movie, it did not fail me at all with the reunited warm friendship among the now adult characters and the passion they still have towards camping. Of course, the food that the show portrayed, although mostly simple fare, never failed to make me drool. It was amazing how the art made the food looked so delicious. Soundtrack was wonderful and soothing to the ears too.
Watching this, it made me think that even with all the hustle bustle of everyday life, one must ... Jan 9, 2025
[Oshi no Ko] 2nd Season

This season seemed to feature more about the inner workings of a stage production than anything else. It showed viewers all the hard work that went into producing a successful play, so much so that I thought it almost resembled a documentary. Even with the visually vibrant artwork and excellent storytelling, I was glad for that segment to be over at last when the play was finally put on stage. Things only started getting more exciting during the last four episodes, where we get to see more interesting parts of the story being unveiled. Loved the soundtrack; it fit with the theme of this show

Mind Game is the most entertaining psychological-themed anime I have watched so far. It has vibrant visuals, often animated with different styles to portray excellent facial expressions and actions to suit the storytelling. I also appreciated that the makers put in the effort to include a lot of details in the background scenes, making it a pleasure to watch. The show was very fast-paced, giving one a very exciting feeling, and I personally think it was a very fun animation to watch.
I find that the story is easy to understand for this genre, as long as the viewer actually pays attention to the show and ... Jan 6, 2025

This is an anime about music and vampire idols. That means there are many nicely drawn eye candy-type characters, which is quite pleasant. The art is quite beautifully done, and it gives a nice visual overall. The story was not over the top and very believable for a supernatural-themed anime.
It was like watching a long visual kei concert while bingeing through this anime. The music did not disappoint either; most of the songs were excellent. I think the music is the best feature in this series. I find myself always looking forward to the next musical segment, wanting more. Stage costumes really bring out the ... Jan 3, 2025

This show featured nicely thought out dungeons with excellent fighting choreography. The gore was also present, but without the turning people off feeling, which was great. I also liked how the voice of the MC changed while he progressed from a weak character to a stronger character. The animation was smooth and solid and the soundtrack was also very fitting with the theme of the story.
It was a nice surprise to find out that this is not the typical overpowered MC grinding dungeon after dungeon type of show. I started this without much expectations and I was left flabbergasted at how much I actually enjoyed ... Dec 15, 2024
An explosion of colors met my eyes. The art for this show was so vibrantly detailed that I couldn't help but get immersed in the feeling of watching an amazing fireworks show. The simple but pleasant storyline and likeable characters gave me a warm feeling while watching. The soundtrack was also very fitting with the theme of the story.
Without spoiling too much, I must say I like how Cherry confessed his feelings for Smile. Overall, I enjoyed the show very much. If you like heartwarming SoL and light romance stories, I would say give this show a try. Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru was ... |
