Not sure if Star Ocean 2 is your thing, but Motoi Sakuraba was the music composer. It is a very good sci-fi RPG anyway.
As you can see, I watched Witch From Mercury after having read Silent Möbius and its 2013 sequel. Witch From Mercury is meh!
Anyway milady! I'll be playing some more Ragnarok Online, one of the best games from South Korea with an improved job system this decade.
My Japanese 101 lessons are doing rather well by the way.
My basic Japanese lessons are going well.
I'm very excited about Back To School Day. Hopefully, I'll get a set of gel pens at a very good price.
By the way, I'm looking forward to reading Hajime no Ippo while I study Japanese (this Instant Japanese book turned into my personal favorite). Can't wait to re-read Silent Möbius more comfortably someday and Kia Asamiya is a very underrated mangaka. Looking at Silent Möbius makes me wish that there were more sci-fi manga.
I read School Rumble, Digimon V-Tamers, Sorcerer Hunters, Linebarrels of Iron, and Trigun Maximum as of late.
So yes, I'll try to read as much manga as my friend Mimi (very good in German since junior high; exact same age as the Supergirl actress).
Nowadays, I look no forward than video games for science fiction like The Callisto Protocol and the upcoming Starfield. Dead Space and Breakdown are awesome too.
I also look forward to Star Ocean 2 getting a remake. You know who the music composer of this franchise is and this woman (fluent in Japanese) that recommended Sorcerer Hunters to me one time would be very happy about said remake.
Speaking of German, I look forward to studying that someday which could help me earn my PhD or become a successful negotiator like Batman.
I wanted to learn German in high school, but my grades weren't good enough like Mimi or honors students. At least I'll work hard to obtain new knowledge and become multilingual like C3PO.
With that said, thanks for accepting.
As a fellow picky anime watcher, it was a 10/10 for me. Incredibly funny and super cute classic magical girl show. More people need to watch it! (^-^)/
How are you doing this March? One of my friends is about to have a 33rd birthday this week and I know that her fiancée will buy her more games.
I forgot about Yoko Kanno being one of your favorite people. My friend from Maryland, a Dot Hack fangirl, grew up with Ghost in the Shell: SAC. She loves Yoko-sama's music and the fact that Mary Elizabeth McGlynn was dubbing Motoko Kusanagi.
I was very young when I watched Stand Alone Complex and 2nd Gig on TV every night. Yes, I watched Cowboy Bebop on late night TV also and I like to watch it subbed sometimes.
So yeah! I grew up listening to Yoko Kanno also.
Other than that, I've been playing some video games. Including Ragnarok Online with a private Chilean server and yes, I love Korean mmorpgs with a superb job system.
I once told a Malaysian in Ragnarok Online that southeast Asia or his home reminded me of FFX. I was very young that day.
My brother comes over to my place to play Dynasty Warriors, Mortal Kombat, etc on PC sometimes. That's a Tecmo property, true and I have yet to play Monster Rancher. The anime was pretty solid though which has Kotono Mitsuishi that my big Virgo friend knows as the iconic Misato. Said friend from North Carolina knows her as Murrue Ramius and the iconic Usagi.
With that said, I hope that you'll have a wonderful late March and yes, Maaya Sakamoto's birthday is coming soon.
Other than that, it's hard to describe Kurogane no Linebarrel's genre, but at least the manga has great character development and surprising references to Japanese folklore. References to nanotechnology also which is more complex than anything in the mecha genre.
Overall, it's a very misunderstood manga. Too bad the Gonzo adaptation couldn't adapt half the manga. The adaptation didn't even complete Miu Kujou's arc or even bothered introducing her. Like in the manga, that is.
So yeah, the Kurogane no Linebarrel manga alternates between some genres. Not your everyday novel.
I completely forgot about Motoi Sakuraba being one of your favorite music composers. I think Tales of Phantasia has the best OST. In the franchise, that is.
Yes, I do love 90s game music.
Other than that, I got lots more Linebarrels of Iron left to read so I could move on to V-Tamers and Sorcerer Hunters.
Said tomboyish British friend was born in 1985 so that explains why she puts on a masculine facade, played Halo and loves testosterone dad flicks. It's like oxen were born to be tough or nerdy.
Jackie Chan Adventures had that ox talisman in some episodes which represents strength.
Other than that, yep! I'm a late Leo myself.
My shoujo loving friend from New York has the same birthday as you. So yeah! She's an early Leo and so is a tomboyish friend of mine from England.
