Not much resemblance except this is both a Romcom. I recommend this because the story is very good where Uryuu who is an atheist is thrown out of his house behind the temple and asked to marry one of the 3 shrine maidens and become the heir of the shrine.

When I first read it because I thought it was a bit similar because it was a Psychological genre. The high school that MC enters is a special high school which is all judged by rank and grades and only selected students throughout Japan are placed in a special district. the higher the points you get then the better your life will be because everything is bought with points. the only difference is that Ayanoukouji hides his true abilities and doesn't want to stand out while Hiroto deceives everyone on the island about his true abilities as the owner of the red star which is a special star so you can edit your status which in reality he is not that great.

Both have the same heroine a Boy and have many wholesome scenes. In terms of story and development Romance Koisuru (Otome) no Tsukurikata is way better, and you'll forget that Hiura is a boy when you read it. The storyline is also relaxed focused on the Slice of Life aspect and the number of panels for each chapter is not too many so you don't get bored while reading it.
