A warm story filled with game nostalgia, weird time travel and McGuffins.
Worth your time but be warned that the ending is rushed and quite a few things are left in the air, so I can really see lots of people being unhappy about it. I did appreciate the jokes and can forgive the gaps, thus the rating, but for others it can easily be a 6 for the same reasons.
The art is great, MC is characteristically MC-like, annoyingly energetic and hopeful at times.
There are some fitting choices given its about making games, the layout feels like quests/ routes to get to an
...
ending of a visual novel. Some things really fall off, like a villain of the week that pops up for a bit and the water plants& zombies, but their existence is quite ironic in the setting.

A heartwarming tale about family, loss and how choices made on poor communication can drift people apart.
Souta changes overtime by the cute Poco and is slowly reminded of his past. Memories of his family that he tried to push away and make a career of his own. Being made into a parent, he gets a perspective that he didn't have before and understands more of his now lost father.
The lore behind Poco's existence is known from the get-go, but the way it is used to deepen the characters is beautiful. By interacting with them they slowly see themselves, understand, accept it& move on.
The
...
ending was just beautiful, pulling everything together and wrapping it in a nice bow.
The art is very cute as well, did a wonderful job of showing the characters emotions.
Overall, if you'd like a relaxing, heartwarming story about family with some sadder undertones, I think this show would be a great choice.

Wholesome show about family& food. I think that says it all but let’s elaborate.
First, two things that threw me off:
- Tsumugi’s voice. Not bad& very fitting to her character, but it struck me as out of place, especially at first.
- The "cooking is starting" song. Also, pretty good but the first seconds are basically an alarm clock so I had a fight or flight response every time it played. I rarely notice music in anime & when I do its either too good, too bad or out of place. I'll add alarm clock to that list.
With that out of the way, the characters are
...
very cute and pleasant, so you end up caring about their little adventures and victories. Also, huge points to Kouhei for being an amazing father who wants the best for his daughter, listens and apologizes when he does a mistake. It was refreshing to see. Tsumugi is cute and very well portrayed as a child, especially in some scenes that we get to see the world through her eyes. The way the grief and loss of the mom is portrayed is very interesting, as it gives some depth to the characters in a positive way as they try to move on for the best of the other person but still embracing the good memories of her they have left. Its sweet, but with a sad underline.
Kotori is also very lovable and pure herself, finding happiness doing simple things like cooking with a family that she is missing so much.
The food (as always in anime) looks very tasty and they really go in detail with each recipe making it more fun. Each episode is named around the food, but it almost looks like as if the food and the time they spend together making it is the solution to the "problem" of each episode which is pretty cute too.
Overall, if you'd like anime with food and also a relaxing/ wholesome show that will put a smile on your face and giggle a bit, give it a go! It goes past "just good" given the way the characters are portrayed, so I'd recommend giving it a watch.

This anime is pretty straightforward, classic ecchi harem isekai. Its enjoyable if you don’t mind how stereotypical it can be at times. But since this is the second season, I guess you came here and know what you are dealing with.
The action and plot are quite good and doesn't bore you. There are specific objectives for each episode, so the pace is very good as well. The bad guys are pretty flat& you know Diablo will win but somehow its interesting to see how.
The humor is usually the same gag of the protagonist being an antisocial virgin losing it every time a female character
...
tries to sleep with him which is often.
The art is good making it pleasant to watch and the character designs are great. Speaking of characters, there are some new ones introduced. All are pretty well defined with their flaws but are a bit shallow past that.
Personally, I enjoy a straightforward& ecchi show like from times to times to just enjoy mindlessly and this one fulfills this part well. Not going above and beyond but what it does is pretty entertaining.

This show was a rather pleasant one, with a pretty simplistic plot and funny moments.
Nothing to make it worth remembering in a year, nor to say that it was a waste of time.
The art is very cute, the way they chose to animate the expressions was fitting making it overall pleasant to the eye.
The characters are named after their flaws which is rather funny (mostly because it’s not pointed out constantly during the show). These flaws-gags are a big part of the characters but in a way that manages to stay funny& not too repetitive. So, they end up likable and cute. Don’t expect
...
any crazy character depth though.
Something that it managed to do well is to portray the extreme social anxiety of the main character in a way that is more comedic and less "realistic", which was something I was worried about at first. As an autistic person with said anxiety I like wholesome and relaxing shows that don't remind me of my everyday struggles to interact with people that have a different train of thought/ communication program than I do.
Overall, I’d recommend this show if you want something cute/pleasant and have seen the more memorable ones already. It's pretty good and will probably put a smile on your face in some scenes, making the time spent worth it.

This movie is basically two standalone episodes of the anime. They don't touch on the main plot of the series, but I really liked the individual stories.
The animation, music and voice acting are as always beautiful.
I enjoyed these episodes very much since they kept the feeling of the series, with all the relaxing, supernatural and beautifully written stories. One was of Natsume trying to help a little yokai fulfill its duty while nyanko-sensei is as always on the hunt for fun and good sake. The second one was helping Tanuma with a very interesting guest.
Both were wholesome with their heartwarming& funny moments while showing
...
the stories of the yokai involved. I really wish there was more, I love the calming atmosphere and the way the ayakashi are portrayed, debatably more human than humans at times, but also with the bit of sadness granted by their large lifespans as they know how fleeting time is.
As part of the series though, you'll probably not fully understand the characters, jokes& references, so I wouldn't recommend watching this "movie" if you haven’t seen anything of the anime.
Overall, if you enjoy the series I have no doubt in my mind that you'll enjoy these two as a little treat until we get more! If you haven't... Then what are you waiting for?
Bonus: If you like this anime& haven’t seen it already watch the Mushi shi series. They have a very similar atmosphere but slightly less.. colorful. I think you'll enjoy it as well.

A very basic love story with a cute development and a perfect wholesome ending.
The animation is debatably the worst point. It has very bad 3D animation in parts of the background while even the focal points of the scene are very harshly highlighted. Thankfully, their design was good, so it made the show watchable.
The characters were good and watching them go through their everyday struggles was interesting, especially because the show stayed away from the usual tropes of a romance anime. It made it more relaxing and innocent in a way. Also, I enjoyed the way that innocence of the first love was portrayed
...
and combined with the characters hobbies, allowing them to grow stronger.
An other point I like was how they showed Akane's anxiety. It felt very genuine and made her character more relatable through the ways she tried to cope with it, be brave& stand up for what she wanted.
Overall, if you want to watch a good& relaxing romance that stays away from most tropes of the genre & can take some questionable 3D animation once a while, I think you'll enjoy this one!

A good story of ten nearly hopeless people aiming for an impossible goal. They are forced into it at first, but slowly the find the motivation and will to make that goal their own dream.
A good story that was crowned with a beautiful ending, pushing it past the other "just good" shows.
This anime manages to make running interesting through the growing passion of the team. That’s saying a lot, cause I didn't ever think of it as anything more than a warm up or a necessity in order to catch a bus. Even I was sitting in the end of my chair during the last
...
few episodes, I really wanted to see how far their determination, will and insane practice would take them.
Honestly, I was rather upset by the lengths Haiji goes to make them start. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the ten characters unfold and develop against each other, slowly going closer to the previously impossible goal. They were very relatable and well portrayed, so you'll really want to cheer for them.
The art was great, especially the way it portrayed them running against the black background, shining. It really conveys the feeling of the scene. Sound& voice acting was good too. I particularly liked Musa's voice, it really helped the character be the gentle and caring person he is.
Overall, I think its a show you will enjoy watching if you're comfortable with the sports genre, or just not too bored by it. The journey& destination was worth it, but the start was a bit rough for me at least.

I started this to see a different perspective of the daily life of an adult which isn't too common in anime. It did that beautifully!
The story is relaxing and spans through many years. The end is perfectly fitting, completing this series in a very fitting way in my opinion.
I never gave much thought to dictionaries, but through this groups passion I found myself enjoying the logic and care behind them, as well as their purpose and history. That group of very passionate and tight knit individuals, whose personalities really helped drive and make the show complete. The team faces many problems to achieve
...
their goal that they have to overcome, like funding, little personnel & many more. The way they handle them is very pleasant to watch, without becoming as stressful as it could be perhaps.
The protagonist is a very socially awkward man, who was given a job that channels his passion and a goal to achieve with it. The hardships he faces while trying to convey his feelings from his own language to others is too relatable for me as a neurodivergent person. The scenes of him facing a sea of words but not being able to traverse it hit very close to home. His job actually acted like a dictionary to do that translation in a way that made his feelings and passion understood by the other person. It also allowed him to find people who share the same interests as him& a place to belong and feel comfortable.
That unique train of thought was also able to go past appearances& find exactly how a person working in fashion journalism will be able to contribute to their grand goal of making a dictionary. A dictionary that would be able to be a ship to guide your thoughts through the language sea and deliver them to the people you want it to. To create a passage for them.
Overall, I think this is a great show that you should watch if you have the time!

This story is a love story, but not quite.
One of the first things that I liked a lot was that the dynamics strayed from the usual couple, giving the show a very refreshing view on the genre. It chose to stay away from "public drama" that it could have very easily gotten into given the forbidden relationship between the two girls. Instead, it chose to look more into the characters, their motivation and problems.
The yuri element, although very prominent in the series, manages to flow naturally into it & allow these subtle dynamics to show more, compared to a "normal" couple where the preconceived
...
expectations of it would have gotten in the way. Being yuri, it allows us to have less of those preconceived ideas and be able to actually watch it unfold unbiased. It does things differently than most romance anime& goes further than what the Japanese society would deem acceptable, while going than the “clickbait- able” elements.
A character unable to love, feeling alien next to her peers.
A character who wants to be someone, anyone but herself, falls in love for the first time.
Seeing these two interact, unfold against each other and change slowly was a beautiful experience. The side characters were also well developed, serving not as plot points to push the mains further but as various aspects of them in a way, making the show complete.
A few things thing that mildly annoyed me in the series:
-The tittle, or rather its translation. "Yagate Kimi ni Naru" means "Eventually I will become you" which wraps up the feeling of the show perfectly, while the English title "Bloom into you" takes away from that, leading to a very different feeling.
-The ending. It fulfils its purpose, but leaves more to imagination than I'd like. After finishing the last episode, I stared at the absent "next episode" button for a good minute cause I felt that the last episode was missing cause what I just saw didn't feel like a conclusion.
- The pace. It might be a personal bias or a necessity given the character and not story driven nature of the anime, but I felt like it was beating a bit around the bush at times, or repeating itself. Not to a point of boredom, just a bit too slow for my liking though.
Overall, if you like character driven shows and want a break from the stereotypical romance anime, this one would be worth your time.
I'd skip it though if perfectly wrapped up endings& a strong pace are the most important things in your book. Or if the only reason you're considering watching it is the yuri.
