Kimetsu no Yaiba

The oh so well-known demon slayer anime was taunting me for a while before I actually started watching it. I had only heard the opening theme (which, by the way, is one of the best ones I've ever heard.) and seen a few of the characters, so my expectations weren't too high. Well, I can't say I was blown away, but I also can't say I was disappointed. Demon slayer hit the right spot and simply gave me a great time while watching it. I have to mention a few stand-out things that might make you want to watch this series more, starting with the

Shokugeki no Souma
(Anime)
add
Shokugeki no souma is quite a special anime. When I began watching it, I figured it was just going to be some boring animated coking show, but since I'd heard good things about it and the anime already had 5 full seasons, I though that maybe it wasn't so bad. And so I watched an episode. And another. And then within a few weeks, I was entirely done with the 5 seasons Food wars had to offer. The creator of this series had the fantastic idea to bring fan service (Which, let's be real, gives a decent incentive for people to watch the show) into

Do you like watching anime? of course you do. Do you like laughing? How sad can one be?! Well, Konosuba will make you smile in a matter of seconds! Although it's certainly not the best show ever and it has its flaws, Konosuba brings in a way more toned down and "chill" feel to anime. Its typical Isekai setting didn't really bother me as the author clearly knew how cliché it was, and rather than ignoring those facts, he embraced them and played along! The only real issue with this anime would be its rather important lack of a meaningful story. Yes, there is technically

It's been over 3700 years since humanity has been petrified, you wake up in the middle of nowhere to a world that has been entirely taken back by nature. What do you do? Well, you build a radio, a tank and a freezer out of *nothing*, of course! At least, that's what Senku does. Dr. Stone is an awesome anime in which the entirety of mankind has been petrified for 3700 years until a young genius, Senku, wakes up and decides to bring back the world to it's peak. It was very interesting seeing a science and fact-based anime rather than seeing magic and stands

Aaah, Re:ZERO... what a series I had been missing out on! After having watched the first season in less than 2 weeks, I immediately continued on with the second one and boy, was I satisfied! The second season of this work of art is (almost) as amazing as the first. Now knowing all the possibilities of this new world presented to us, we are shown much more character development outside of Subaru himself. I have to say that it's a shame season 2 ends on such an abrupt note, but I suppose every nice thing has an end. I was disappointed that Rem never returned

Woah... I have no words to describe this amazing story. At first, this series seemed like a cheerful and happy parallel world-themed story, but it quickly took a turn. Firstly, I have to say that not everyone might enjoy this as much as I did. Re:ZERO bears a very dark story, depicting mental torture and very saddening character development, all of which is hidden by the very positive looking start of its story. In this brand new world, Natsuki Subaru is given a power to "Return on death", allowing him to restart a "Section" of his new life from his last check point. However useful

Enen no Shouboutai

What a surprise this anime was! From an outsider's point of view, this seemed like a much different kind of story from what I'm used to, and it honestly surprised me how action-packed and intense it was. Fire force was very enjoyable and easy to watch while also having a deep story that sucks you in. As strange as "Firefighters fighting fire monsters using fire powers" sounds, it's absolutely lit! (I'm sorry, I had to). Under its very simple-to-follow storyline, Fire force shows a much darker lore which our main protagonists will have to uncover in order to achieve their main goal: Helping people. The

Hunter x Hunter (2011)
(Anime)
add
In its 148 episodes, Hunter x Hunter will make you smile, laugh, cry and cheer for its amazing set of characters who you'll follow in their adventures to become hunters! This anime, although it has a very simple story, goes deep into subjects like friendship, love, courage and forgiveness to make you love the amazing character that is Gon Freecss. Alongside his friends, although his main goal is only to find his father, he goes on various crazy adventures, making his journey to find the legendary hunter Ging Freecss anything but dull! Overall, HxH is so fun to watch and follow, and it's a great

Fairy Tail

Disappointing. That is the word I would use to describe this series. At first, the main character seemed likeable and energetic, until he wasn't the main character anymore. The story for this anime is quite hard to follow and it is never clearly stated who the main character is. You could argue there are more than one, but frankly, it seems as though the only one making any progress is Natsu. Most of this anime is filled with the "Power of friendship" and fan service, making almost every fight quite disappointing and every slice of live bits, forced. This series is probably fine to watch

Jojo's bizarre adventure: Golden wind is a quite particular arc of the story. Unlike all of the previous parts, this one takes place almost entirely separated to the previously used storyline. Although that might sound strange, Hirohiko Araki makes that his advantage. Golden wind is a great story that, unfortunately, didn't quite hit the spot for me. I am by no means saying it is bad, but seeing as how amazing Part 4 was, I was slightly disappointed that it had nearly no importance in part 5's plot. If it had directly followed Part 3, I'm certain I'd have given Part 5 a better rating,
