TL:DR
This show starts off fast and then reaches a slow point in the plot which we get comfortable with. We learn to appreciate the character dynamics and awe at the brilliant aesthetics of the night time. (For me personally) We get excited to find out what
situation Kou will get into next and what new person he'll meet that'll interact with the characters to create fun situations as ... the show progresses. But then at the later part it gets tense, it hits you with that stark realization that the plot is not to be forgotten and starts bringing you back to that fast high and suspension you felt when you watched the first episode. Finally, the climax reaches and we are left satisfied and excited for more. Either way one of the best shows to watch daily and I thank this studio for adapting it in the way they did it. After finishing this awesome anime I can say without a doubt it is the most 8/10 show of the season. (yes I copy and pasted it cope)

After finishing this awesome anime I can say without a doubt it is the most 8/10 show of the season. Like it's rating is perfect for the whole anime it's super chill, fun, and relaxing to watch. Now we already know that the whole vibe of the show, art, and visual aspects is great. It fits very well for the whole night time aesthetic (especially how the nighttime environment is so beautifully lit up and colored in pink and blue) and even the fight scenes were unexpectedly pretty good and got me tense when they happened. Lighting and shading were done perfectly and I dont think we need to add anything else but let's move on to characters. All characters in this show are on this level of being really well developed and just okay in quality. There's a sufficient enough backstory and development for most of the side characters to make them interesting and not dull when they're on screen. The main characters are great and blend well with the most calm of scenes to the most tense moments of the show. Character design in this show is great because each one has a design that fits their personality and is still what you'd probably expect them to wear at night. Take for example Mahiru and Kou, Mahiru is an extroverted, somewhat athletic, and popular guy type you'd see in most anime. Although he can be a bit clumsy at times, he's a very confident person, his design embodies that pretty well for me. Meanwhile Kou on the other hand really looks like me when I just got up from playing and went outside to get something from the convenience store. You can tell from his appearance that he's not a very organized person and hasn't decided much in life. He looks like an average teenager who looks like someone who's experiencing adolescence but isn't fully disheveled because of it. My point is that Mahiru's outfit embodies his confident and extroverted personality while Kou's outfit embodies his wandering, unsure, and less confident personality. It goes for every character and what trope they follow and albeit very simple designs you don't watch the show for that, you watch it for the drip of the vampires. I don't know what to say but other than I like how each of the vampires look here they look great and attractive. Finishing this unorganized review up,

It's a really addicting show. I have never watched any anime shows about gangster or gang wars or about delinquents, but this show takes the cake for being interesting. Yeah ofc it's not realistic and it's overrated but its anime y'know? So I can scratch that off. The characters are pretty good but I felt they could've made the MC's character have more depth to him. But the main thing about this show is it's addicting. It's addicting to watch because every episode ended on a cliffhanger that made you starving for more! What happens next? How will this conflict end up? What will happen ... to that person? It successfully drives the audience to keep on wanting more! Sounds design was nice to the ears with every kick and punch felt like they were very "anime". The show has a good way of balancing both the fights scenes and the story. It's able to pump out cool and nice looking fight scenes while also keeping the art style the same. But what really drives this show is the story, I would not ever keep watching this if it didn't have a very good story to carry it. By the fourth episode I was hooked that this wasn't just going to be some niche Erased type of crap but with gangsters. It was a deeper story, one with many mysteries and unsolved things. One where the feeling of friendship, love, and brotherhood was really showcased and felt. It's a very good show and I highly recommend watching it. Although I will say one thing... The opening sucks and isn't fitting for an anime opening WAY BETTER FOR AN ENDING GOSH DANGIT CHANGE IT but yeah that's it. pretty good show 8.5/10

How can i say this hmm, This anime is like a mindf*ck but in the sense that it messes around with how you perceive society and the meaning of law and crime itself, unlike any other show i’ve watched so far this has bested me so much from the small start from the beginning to the best parts at the end and i can say without a doubt that this is not a masterpiece but one of the greatest anime’s(in my opinion at least) because of how much ideology and philosophy it gives during the show making you wanting to shake your head around on ... how to get around it, yet feeling a sense of understanding in the many book quotes in the show, unlike others this ride was arguably not a fun one but one that makes you realize how much philosophy is put into it as we perceive on how we view what the gap between a crime and what the definition of a crime really is but overall for me this has taken over my best anime so far(Code Geass) in the sense for twisting you head around with how many questions and thoughts it fills your head with and i think the author of this originally based this story of an advanced society on how today we recognize what crime is without really questioning it. This anime makes you step out of your comfort zone by making the world around seem much much more complex than you really think it is overall i had a good time watching it and the production quality was great along with the amazing upbeat original soundtracks that they provided each time to delve deeper in the show so to end this.
