I think that Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Deserted Island Diary, Vol. 1 by Kokonasu Rumba is definitely a good start at what I hope will be a long on-going series. Unfortunately it is held back by being the first volume in a slice of life/ humor type story and due to that it fails to reach what it is truly capable of just yet. The art is really cute and that is by far the shining aspect of volume 1, the humor is also really cute as well.

I think my enjoyment of this series so far was heavily impacted by my enjoyment of Animal Crossing: ... New Horizons. If I had to say one thing it would be to definitely play the game before you read the manga because even though it gives you tips and tricks within the manga I would be fearful if you could enjoy it without any game knowledge.
