All right. This is a review for 2025, a recent review. I read this in a day—binged it. The first 30 chapters were some of the most horrible I have ever read. To be short for the people who don’t want to read my yapping: this manhwa is not recommended. It is trash at best. Only read it if you have nothing else to do, like me.
Story
The story is about this guy. The guy lost his sister to the empire. The guy kills everyone related to the empire, innocents included—revenge story stuff. He kills monsters too, cause why not? Then some nobody comes to kill
...
him. He says, "Do it, lil bro, I am done." He dies. He regresses back to when he was a kid. Generic slop. The main character wants to save his sister. I legit thought he had some weird attraction to her in the beginning, but I guess bro just really loved his sister. Anyways, who cares? The story goes nowhere in 92 chapters. A lot of stuff happens, but the revenge part of the story only happens in the most recent chapters into the show—not even shitting you.
The Art
To me? Horrible. So bad it was funny. It got a little bit better as the chapters went on—to the point where it was bearable. I’m surprised at myself for reading so much of this. The art is off most of the time, and there is this weird shota thing with the protag. His design is not only feminine but sexualized in most encounters. Weird, considering he’s supposed to be 14 in that body.
The World
There are humans, orcs, harpies, vampires, and dragons. The only two species aside from humans that are really in the story are vampires and dragons—the others are just filler for the sake of it. The world is not very fleshed out. It is generic at best.
Characters
The characters in the show are... mediocre at best. The only memorable character with some personality is the protag.
The protag... sigh... he's built like a bimbo while being underaged. Classic. I don’t care if he was 2K years old in his previous life—the art REALLY sexualizes this guy. I liked how he wasn’t afraid to blatantly tell anyone he knew that he had regressed. I also liked how he never cared to hide how OP he was. Aside from that? He’s the same edgy, "evil," bratty MC—even though he’s supposed to be a grown-ass man.
The antagonists? Evil for the sake of it. They have no underlying reason for their actions. They are bland, uninteresting, do not attract my attention, etc., etc. I never cared about the characters. Bzzt.
The "Action"
The fight scenes are terrible. The main character goes swoosh, everyone dies, the end. Nothing too special about it. I don’t even know why I’m mentioning it.
What Kept Me Reading?
Boredom? I enjoyed the MC being unfiltered a bit, but then he started to straddle grown men and make weird expressions that would put a generic manga yandere female to shame. I am a slop connoisseur when it comes to trashy regression manhwa, so I just had to.
Not recommended. Dropped. NEXT.
