Most people would just say this anime is a clone of Naruto, simply because Asta and Naruto are similar minded MCs. But all shonen anime have similarities, and for anyone who has put the effort into watching most of the episodes, then it's evident how unique Black Clover really is.

Story 10 - The story goes about at a fast pace, it doesn't take long for Asta to become strong, which I've found can be bad at times (Fairytail) but the pace is perfect, there's hardly any fillers (for a weekly continuous anime this is amazing) with the story being very well thought out whilst easy ... to follow all in one.

Art 8 - The weakest part of Black Clover isn't even bad, it is great. There is room for improvement, but the world and the magic is beautiful, all the characters designs are distinguishable. The fight scenes are great also.

Sound 10 - Hands down the best intros in anime history, some of the best voice acting around today too.

Character 10 - I never thought I'd watch an anime with better side characters than Naruto, but I may very well be in the process of witnessing this, as it is still an on-going series, I will reserve judgement when it is finished. Many characters are well thought out and the female character aren't just eye candy in this show, they are some of the best written characters. It's fantastic to witness.

Enjoyment 10 - Every week when it's anime time, the first episode I watch is Black Clover, it's brilliant in so many ways; reliable, action, romance, comedy etc.

Overall 10 - Recently discussed with myself if this should be a 9 or 10, but decided that it has to be a 10, it is so well rounded and has a large fan base growing, it gets attached a lot by fans of other series, but that's always a sign of a great anime.

I watched this straight after New Challenger, and it blew me away just as much.
Story 10 - Following not just Makanouchi but Takamura and the others, each diverging path tells thrilling stories.
Art 9 - Again a slight upgrade from the previous season, crisper, sharper.
Sound 10 - Soundtrack once again was brilliant and magically fit the scenes.
Character 10 - One of the best shows character wise I've ever seen, I might just buy the manga.
Enjoyment 10 - Another 2 day binge, it was magnificent.
Overall - If this is the end of the anime for good, then it was a fantastic ending, and leaves everything to the ... imagination of each individual viewer, as the manga is still ongoing, I'm not sure if this is the end or not but either way I am content.

After a few years in the wilderness, I had suspicions of the anime losing steam or having different voice actors taking roles from the originals. However this was not the case!

Story 10 - It seems Makanouchi almost took a back seat in this season, with the other fighters (esp Takamura) taking up more screen time. This was a great idea as it shows much more dynamics, and just the weight cut Takamura had to make was brilliant.
Art 9 - Even better than the original series, everything was better, from sharper character design to the fight scenes.
Sound 10 - Great music again and the voice acting ... is just imperious.
Character 10 - Every character in this is unique and adds so much to the whole show, just fantastic.
Enjoyment 10 - I literally binged the season in 2 days, comedy, romance, tension, heartbreak, joy, it has everything.
Overall 10 - Hajime no Ippo as a whole is a solid top 10 anime for me, I cannot speak highly enough about it.

Story 5/10 - I could probably give it lower than a 5, but because it acknowledges that and shows you that the story isn't their concern, I believe a 5 is fair.

Art 6/10 - Not great, cheapish looking, again I'm hoping the 2018 season is much better.

Sound 7/10 - Fine, wish it was more akin to Hajime no Ippo, but lacking in emotion and pop.

Character 7/10 - Slightly stronger than the first season, Baki being older is a much better decision.

Enjoyment 8/10 - I feel like it's the enjoyment that saves this series, even though the story is one dimensional, the tournament setting means that ... it's just pure action.

Overall 7/10 - Tough to watch but I'm hoping it was a necessary sacrifice for season 3.

So I started watching Baki, which turned out to be season 3, so I paused it and decided I needed to go and watch season 1 and 2 as I heard it’s integral for the story going forwards.

Story 7/10 – Quite a generic martial arts/tekken style story but with a few twists that caught me off guard that I enjoyed.

Art 8/10 – It’s a shame this anime wasn’t a few years older as I reckon the fight scenes could’ve been of an unbelievable tier. For the time though, the art is pretty decent.

Sound 7/10 – Similar to the art, it was decent but there is ... room for improvement. Maybe I'm just being strict as I recently finished Bleach.

Character 6/10 – The characters were far too generic, I find myself comparing the characters to a show like One Punch Man, which had such diverse and unique characters, I’m hoping the next few seasons have better characters. Baki and Yujiro are the standouts in the show, which bodes well for the future.

Enjoyment 7/10 – A few comical bits, sprinkles of potential romance and good fights. I feel like it could potentially reach a 10 if a few things had been done differently.

Overall 7/10 – A solid 7, if I had watched it 15 years ago then maybe it would’ve scored higher. I look forward to watching where it goes though.

As one of the 'big three' I felt I had to watch it eventually, I've watched Naruto, and I've decided I can never watch One Piece for a few reasons. So, Bleach was on the hitlist.

Story 9/10 - Some of the arcs in this series were truly epic, yeah the filler arcs were unwanted, but that's how it is with big anime. So I try to focus on the canon arcs and as I said, they are epic. The way it finished at ep366 was bittersweet, but I'm glad to hear the show is coming back!

Art 8/10 - The characters and their swords/powers are all ... unique enough to make them distinguishable, which is always a good thing. The world is a little dull, but I've seen worse. I will admit though, as the years went by, the art style became 10 times better.

Sound 10/10 - Easily the stand out part of the anime, the intros are mostly awesome, but where it shines is the battle music, the great orchestral instruments make the fights seem so emotional and brilliant. Yes, definitely the greatest in-show music I’ve witnessed in anime.

Character 8/10 - Many of the character, whether protagonists or antagonists are full of style and emotion, they are fun. The only downside is that they are all arrogant and believe far too much in their own power no matter what. There is decent character development throughout.

Enjoyment 9/10 - There's plenty of action, comedy, suspense, everything you need really in an anime. If anything it's a little too fast paced.

Overall 9/10 - A great anime that has undoubtedly inspired newer anime (such as demon slayer.) Not many anime can go on for so long and keep the viewers interested. Bleach holds a special place with it's viewers where, it isn't anyone's favourite anime, but not many people dislike it.

So, let me preface this by saying I have never been a fan of 'Slice of life' anime. I've tried a couple but ive never been able to get into them.

Story 5/10 - There wasn't really a story to follow, it seemed there was going to be in the first episode or two but then it just didn't materialise at all.

Art 9/10 - Ok the art was lovely in this anime, from characters, to food, to scenery, it was all fantastic, there's no complaints from me in this department.

Sound 7/10 - Nothing out of the ordinary, VA's were great.

Character 7/10 - I feel like ... they did a good job making the characters different enough and unique, however, there was only really 4 characters in the whole anime so I can't give it better than a 7.

Enjoyment 6/10 - There wasn't quite enough comedy for me, the romance wasn't teased much or set up well, it just sort of happened. I was fighting through from episode 4 and succumbed in episode 7.

Overall 7/10 - I didn't want to be too strict as I believe the problem lies with me and not with the anime. I am not a slice of life fan, this anime had many good points but I just couldn't keep my interest up.

This was a required 'pick me up' after the depressive 'Mirai Nikki' and it did it's job wonderfully.

Story 7/10 - Look, this show is more of an experience, it's not trying to give us the best story in the world, comedies generally don't. Having said this, it's solid enough and the progression of the story is pleasant, with a good pace.

Art 9/10 - Set in a perfect location to show off it's artistic values and it does just that. The scenery is top notch. But where the art really shines is in the facial expressions of the characters, by far the most expressive faces I've ... ever seen.

Sound 8/10 - The music throughout is lovely and all sounds are extremely crisp.

Character 8/10 - So, there's nothing really unique about any of these characters, but they are so hilarious and consistent that I find them really entertaining.

Enjoyment 9/10 - I almost want to give this a 10, but I don't like being willy nilly with them, so reluctantly I've gone for a 9, this show is hilarious and has made me truly LOL on many occasions.

Overall 8/10 - If I'm being honest, its very close to getting a 9 here, but for me personally anything 9 or above has to do something emotionally to me, there needs to be suspense, cliff hangers, a very strong story. This doesn't quite hit those notes, but to be fair it isn't trying to. Grand Blue is a pure comedy, and it knows it is. No anime has ever made me laugh so much, so although only receiving an 8 from me, it also now holds the position as the greatest comedic anime I've ever seen.

This review is covering Naruto and it's sequel 'Naruto Shippuden' as I view them as inseparable.

Firstly, the story is an epic juggernaut. It ramps up and plateaus, ramps up again, takes you off cliff-hangers, makes you cheer, makes you cry. Some may say it is a little drawn out, others may say that there are too many filler episodes but everything adds to the crescendo, making character specific plot points that bit more meaningful. The world building of Naruto is second to none.

The art of Naruto evolved over the many years it was in production, it has many of the most recognisable characters in all ... of anime, and dozens of its fight scenes are just pure, visual ecstasy.

The music in Naruto has more depth than the pacific ocean. It has great music throughout its 700+ episodes that I listen to in my lorry to this day.

Character development is simply a masterpiece. Untouchable. Not sure how else to put it into words.

Enjoyment, again, is unquantifiable. It changes peoples lives, Naruto transcended it's own genre like Muhammad Ali with boxing and Michael Jordan with Basketball.

Overall, I can only give a 10 to my favourite anime of all time. Yes 700+ episodes may seem daunting, but it's an experience you will never regret or forget.

Now, I've always had a morbid fascination with time travel. Groundhog Day is one of my favourite movies, and I feel that it is a genre that is very difficult to nail properly. But Steins;Gate goes above and beyond here.

The story starts out with some comedic elements, but then it goes dark, very dark. This is where it grips you, and it doesn't let go until the very end.

The art is memorable but not spectacular, if this was a 20 point scale I'd give it an 8.5

The sound, similar to the art is solid throughout and probably a weak 9, but a 9 nonetheless.

Character, ... definitely a 10, for a 24 episode show, 4 of these characters rank among my very favourite in all of anime.

In terms of enjoyment, this is a show that all sorts of people would enjoy. Whether or not you like anime, this show would appeal to you if you like suspense/thrillers.

Overall, this show is a short and sweet masterpiece, only 8 hours long but leaves an impact that lasts forever.
