Oh my God this is so good... Toxic yaoi peaks here
I'm a really picky reader, even if I enjoy a story there usually isn't really that spark that I get with it. I definitely got that spark from this. Both the characters are horrible, Eunsung more obviously. The story starts with Eunsung accidentally killing Hyunwoo during a fight after Hyunwoo tells him he wants to break up. Suddenly, Eunsung is reincarnated into a universe where he dies during the fight instead. I'm trying to keep this spoiler free, but the way in which the ending tops off the beginning is what really makes this work

This is definitely the better one of the two Heat x Beat books. While considerably longer than the other, it doesn't feel as uncomfortably fast-paced as that one and takes more time to flesh out its characters. The conflict between the main couple also is a lot more interesting, and makes it a lot better of a read. Whenever I read omegaverse stories, I like commentaries on what the dynamics can imply in universe, and I think this book does a good job of that while also putting it into the context of the idol industry, although relatively surface-level. And, while it is slower paced

This is a pretty short BL manga, and it's cute but probably just not my thing. I'm not super familiar with the idol industry, so someone who's more involved with that is probably going to like this more. Still, it was an enjoyable, cute little read. The characters weren't fleshed out that well outside of the main character, though. The art was pretty good, not anything super spectacular but the anatomy wasn't notably off. It felt a little too fast-paced in some parts, but that could be good if you're just looking for a quick read.
In conclusion, if you're looking for some cute, quick BL ... Sep 14, 2024

This is a short, sweet, and sentimental manga. The two main characters aren't explicitly in a relationship, so if that's something that will turn you away from reading it, then be warned... However, despite that, it's definitely still worth a read (and they're very much in love with each other anyway). It's not phenomenal, but it's a good story to spend some time on and it will make you tear up.
The art isn't bad either, there's no glaring errors in it. The more casual take on a vampire plot makes the story a lot more enjoyable, of course one of the main appeals for the ... Aug 28, 2024

Like a lot of other reviews have mentioned, it's not really a BL. It's definitely supposed to be implied, though. I think the blood drinking scenes between Maria and Mary serve as an allegory for romance between the two characters... It's not really supposed to be a classic romance, or present romance in that way. But the plot is pretty good, although it gets confusing at points (a lot happens quickly), and I like it a lot. I think it's an interesting take on vampire mythology, and it's worth the read. For me, the art is definitely the main draw, though. But don't go into
