Coming into this, I thought this was an unserious comedic anime. Turns out, I was wrong.
I mean it was, but slowly it wasn't. It started as a simple story of a perverted human teacher teaching ghouls, doing silly stuff and making fun of Abe Haruaki's uniform fetish. It started becoming serious, showing the pure relationship of Haruaki and his students, how dedicated he is to helping them (even if he had to risk his life), the relationships between the students, the underlying story and the true moral of the show.
