Let's go to the brand new world
After Watching the first 6 episodes of this anime, i can say that looks very promising, i cant wait for the new episodes to be relased.
BNA tells the story of Michiru, a girl who turn into a Tanuki and decided to move to Animacity "a place where bestman can really live like themselves".
No more than 5 minutes pass and we already see a Graffiti against the beastmen and an attempt to kill the main character. Humans does it again, excluding people who are different from the society.
Animacity society is not perfect either, in fact there are beastmen determined to
...
harm their fellow beastmen as long as they are paid the right price, doing this to an already oppressed society makes us see that humans and beastmen are not so different. I don't want to make future spoilers but anti-beastmen humans will do whatever it takes to destabilize the peace that has been sought to establish in Animacity.
The further the anime progresses the more it becomes obvious that there is something deeper and hidden about the origin of Animacity and that of our protagonist.
Art
The art at certain points and the color palette as well as the aesthetics of the characters is very good, the animation cannot be perfect, and at times a little disappointing, but it is not the focus of BNA, the anime does not need to have an outstanding animation for telling its story, even with the flaws in the animation, the anime manages to express the feelings of its characters, especially the Wolf fight scenes where you can see his determination to exercise justice with his own hands, or the innocence and sadness of other characters while realizing how damaged society is.
Sound
OP: the opening makes you wanna dance, it is such a catchy song just like a mainstream song but without lossing the essence of an anime.
"Add colors, if you stay being yourself, You can change over and over, Beyond the endless shadow, Take on your way, don't hesitate, Go ahead!"
ED: damn, such a good song with 80s vibes coming just in the right time, very relaxing one, makes you feel like you are chilling, the animation of the ending is great, probably more than the actual anime, lol.
"Searching for the meaning, I keep running
"I start to lose who I am, Keep running for no reason, Keep on the journey where I can't see the end, Searching for the meaning, I keep running. I start to lose who I am ..."
To conclude, BNA will not be the anime of the year, it is not the anime of the season, maybe it does not have the level of Beastars, but what it is, a unique anime that seems to handle very well the fact of having small parts of others anime as inspiration, whether you're a fan of furry or not (which I'm not) there is no denying that BNA achieves what every anime aspires to, tell a story and be entertaining.

Climbing to the Stars
It might look like a regular shonen, Battle Royale type of anime, but it goes beyond that, Tower of God tells the Story of Bam, a shy but courageous boy who follows his friend Rachel to a tower, where only the chosen ones can enter, and anyone who manages to go throuth a series of challenges and reach the top can make a wish and will become true. The plot sound kinda simple, but is not only the plot that matters, is the way you tell it, and to tell it right, and Tower of God achieves that in a
...
very beautiful and refreshing way.
This anime it's not for everybody, as i said at the beginning, if you're looking for a regular Shonen, or some kind of Battle Royale where you only wanna see the characters fighting each other, with storytelling here and there without thinking too much, this anime is not for you.
Art / Animation
Personally i think this is the stronger point in the anime, the way it uses the color palette is fantastic, the way it's beautifully drawn, the cinematography, everything in this anime is pure gold.
The way it honores it's original webtoon version is incredible, the movements in the fight scenes, the fluidity of the characters, it manage to make an animation so beautiful and so simple at the same time, just a Top Animation.
Sound / Music
The OST is good, i can understand some people saying is the best this anime has.
OP: It just perfectly describes what the anime is about, it express Baam feellings and the fact that he would do anything, at any cost, just to be with Rachel.
"Yeah even when it seems impossible,
Just go over exchange hands with each other,
No matter what, oh,
Ready to fight, I'll be the last one that's standing, world"
ED: the song refflects what Baam feels for Rachel, his love, how lonely he feels without her, the longing to be with her again, and mostly Bam's fear of being alone (without Rachel).
"I'm so afraid to be all alone
Even the train with my dreams stopped running
It feels like I'm the only one who won't be able
To reach that love in front and that terrifies me."
Characters
Bam, a shy boy who recalls was amnesiac and all alone in a dark cave until Rachel came and took care of him, Bam developed an love and admiration for her because she teached him everything he knows about the world.
Khun, Aguero Agnes (I Understood That Reference), Bam friend, Khun is very clever, his weapon is a briefcase, He is one of many "defected sons" of Khun Eduan. He was expelled from the his family because his older sister failed to become one of Zahard's Princesses.
Rak, a giant reptile with superhuman physical strength, who thanks to Khun ended up making team with him and Bam.
Dont get me wrong, this anime is not a comedy, but everytime this 3 are together (which is almost everytime) theres is some comedy gold.
Because Tower of God's genre (Sci-Fi, Adventure) there's a lot of characters coming from time to time, but the backbone of the series is this trio.
To Conclude, i know is not going to be the best anime of this year, i mean, it's not even the stronger anime in any category this year, but i strongly believe that this is a worth watching anime, and i wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a some kind of cult anime in the future.

The best Anime of 2019, Outstanding
This Anime cant be described in other word, every single second, from start to finish (and boy what a finale)is a masterpiece, you can tell that Wit Studio is involved in this, just like they did with Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin), they manage to tell a deep and beautiful story about something so serious and tragic as war is, But Vinland Saga is not just about war, actually, the anime tries suceffully to express the consecuences of such an atrocious actions, through 24 episodes it achieves to tell the story of, not only the war,but about the
...
warrios, about what inspires and encourages them to fight, and most important, what makes them equal, they all fight for something they think is right, later on the Anime we see in one of the Character, the internal conflict that involves doing something you know is wrong, but also knowing that is the only thing you could do to makes thing right.
Animation
The animation is just seems flawless, i can only thing about 3 or 5 seconds when the animation wasn't as great as usually is, the CGI and 3D elements are pretty good, the animation in the opening is a delight for the eyes. we couldn't expect less from Wit Studios
Music
The OST is wonderfull, tthey aren't too much Animes where the OP have the same quality than the ending, or vice versa, but in Vinland saga both moments not only have an amazing animation, lyrically it makes you really empathise and know the story of our mains characters,.
Opening: Mukanjyo, you can't hear the lyrics and not think about Thorfinn, it have his name all over it, the song express Thorfinn frustation about not having what he wish for, even having given up everything, it seems worthless.
"Can someone tell me how I use to picture, The scenes that I used to dream of? No matter what scenery I saw, I didn't feel anything. Hey, even if I make up my mind, Was I, that had been longing for that view, feelingless?"
Ending: Torches by Aimer, the ending is such a contrast compared to the opening, You can feel Thorfinn's calm and understanding about what his fellings for revenge were, the theme just makes you fully realized that Vinland Saga is really about finding peace and longing for hapinness, one of the best ending of all times.
"I'm missing you. When the scenery becomes blurry, My emotions overflow and I curl up. Listen to me, sail away again, again, Wishing to find a way in an unseen ocean."
Characters
Another stronger point in Vinland Saga is the fact that so many characters play an important role in the evolution of the series, obviously one of the characters with most development is Thorfinn, who goes from starting as a little boy who saw his father die and vows to avenge his death, to becoming a young man who understang that revenge is not the right way to honor the memory of his father, nor find happiness.
Canute, initially it was a shy guy, later on, after finding the plans his father had for him, he start to becoming more mature, and consious about the facth that he could have enough power to create the paradise land he wishes for.
Thorkell, at first it might seem as the typical warrior who the only thing that does and love is fightin, but Thorkell personality goes depper than that, he has doutb about the way he has chosen to live his life, constanly wondersing himself about what a "True Warrior" is.
Askeladd, The greatest antagonist in recent history, a mastermind who knows how to control and manage the way he is perceived by others, strongly fighting for what he believes, longing for the day a King would liberate his people from opression, until he discovers that his belief is just a fantasy. A mentor to Thorfinn, who tries to teach him why the war is not the solution, the most development character in the whole anime, it is simply impossible to hate him.
“A man, slave to gold, holds a whip…And beats the slave he bought with that gold as if to claim HE is the master. He just doesn’t see it for himself. Every living human being is a slave to something.” – Askeladd
Overall, the anime is a masterpiece, not only beeing the best of 2019 but one of the greatest of the decade,it doesn´t have weak points, through 24 episodes, Wit Studios prove once again that you don't need action every second to make an exciting anime.
