...then you might like Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri add

Both follow the same theme. What will happen when a future civilization meet a civilization from the past? While Zipang take it more seriously both shows are quite similar. The Gate feature fantasy and lot of comedy in between scenes while Zipang is more realistic, gate does have more mature/violent scenes while it looks more friendly. If you like anime where that the main cast is far superior and beat the shit out of their enemy it is a good show to enjoy without relaying on too much of superpowers, but advancement in science. I guess?

If you liked Bio Hunter add

...then you might like Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu add

Both anime have something that is hidden within the human which emerge and leave a bizarre scene. Is it evil? I don't know. The main villain can sometime feel similar too. Bio Hunter is more mature and leave many questions unanswered but is worth watching if you are not looking for a great anime or a masterpiece.

If you loved Thermae Romae then you will most likely love Nobunaga Concerto. I feel that there is definitely something more similar between both anime other than the time slip. Also they are both very underrated.

Zetman would probably not exists if Guyver didn't. Both anime feature similar plot, gore, monsters disguised as humans and tragic events. Both heroes have similar powers which is somewhat biological and also like the monsters powers.

Both anime have lot of humans that get abused/used to succeed with an evil plan in a certain organization with two faces. There are also many chimeras, experiments, humans with different powers and other similarities. If you like adventure and one of them, you may like the other one.

If you liked Ja Ja Uma Grooming UP! add

...then you might like Kaze no Sylphid add

Both manga focus horses, a life outside the city and horse racing. They are very enjoyable even if you don't like much about horses. In Kaze no Sylphid they focus much more on the horses while in Ja Ja Uma Grooming UP! it is more about the main character surrounded by the horses while his interests in them grows and there is also some romance. Ja Ja Uma Grooming UP! can be a little more mature as it show half nude graphics and breeding while Kaze no Sylphild can feel similar to Capeta and Prince of Tennis.

Both anime contain mecha which have bad side effects on the pilot such as making their life shorter and their mental health unstable. There are also characters which have similar kind of mysterious aura and some part of the story are also similar.

Both manga have a pervert as main character yet both of them are kind of cool because they are not "stupid" or how to explain. As the story progress they also end up in similar situation and the ending is kind of similar too.

Both anime have a organization who is after the main character for a similar purpose because they have more strength than ordinary. There is also a similar romance relationship as they both are in love with a certain girl/woman.

Roger Smith and Reiji Fujita is very similar to each other and they both have a similar job. On top of that they both have a female assistance to help them in their work. The bond between them will also get close as the story develop. The themes and the settings may be different to Gallery Fake, however as I remember Big O have a seinen type of story which someway is similar to Gallery Fake.

Both this anime have aliens that invade from a different space time by human using some kind of object which is not necessary to use. The alien act very similar too. In Xenosaga there is a android woman who posses mysterious powers while in Divergence Eve there is a girl with supernatural power. That is also similar because both of them have some kind of superpower.

If you like the dark atmosphere from Texhnolyze or Malice@Doll you will probably like both of them. However Malice@Doll may not be good as Texhnolyze.

Action , Adventure and Comedy. They both have ruin exploring and contain Swords and Sorcery.

Many similarity, such as bikes and colonization in space etc, but Megazone 23 have more mature content. I also think the plot have something in common and it was pretty enjoyable to watch them both.

If you like anime about schools, delinquents, street fights then I guess you will like them both. But I would say Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! is a lot funnier because it has greater humor.

Both animes gives a same feeling as they both contain hope, surviving and luck etc. There are also similar events in the plot. I think you will like them both, however Planet Survive have cartoon style of graphics and more of the sci-fi genre which can may make it less good.

Gives a similar feeling as the main cast are wanted through the series of the anime. Some other similar things: *One old guy as a main character. *Travel between planets. *Family related things. I would say Zone of the Enders is better and if you liked Coyote then I think you will like it more and maybe Coyote if you liked ZOE.

Different theme and elements, but give a similar feeling because Tetsuo Shima and Masato Akitsu are mostly controlled by the greed for more power and parts of the plot are also similar.

A high school girl with some of her friends transported to another world and later have to deal with problems which exist in that world. They will have a lot of important peoples along side their quest and there is many other similarities which you can see for yourself. Although they tell the story in a different way I think they both are a good watch.

Similar feeling and settings while the plot may be different. Both animes have a princess who have lived her entire life as a commoner too and they also had some hard time to realize their situation. You will surely like them both if you like medieval fantasy.

You will probably like both of them if you like animes that have relation with the Japanese culture and connection between gods and humans where they live in the same society or world.

Very similar situations and character personality, must watch if you have seen one of them. You might feel the blond guy in Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! are cheating but after the first EP and half of the second EP you will change your mind.

Similar group of superheros who defend the earth and plot line. The battles also feel same as they have transformation powers.

If you liked City Hunter add

...then you might like Master Keaton add

Both main characters are professionals and helping others by completing their requests. City Hunter has more of fan service, women, guns and is a shounen type of anime while Master Keaton is more serious type of anime. Both animes seems to also be episodic. I would say City Hunter is much more enjoyable to watch but it does not hurt to watch them both.

...then you might like Noein: Mou Hitori no Kimi e add

Similar enemies and feeling as both animes contain travel through time space and some of the characters are somehow stuck in their space of time in one or another way while they trying to resolve the problem. There is also a girl with a unique power which also resembles the enemy’s power and is mostly the key of the mystery in the story. Noein has a more serious plot, explains the sci-fi elements in a better way and the drama is better while Divergence Eve have more of the fan service part, but if you like animes with with science-fiction I think you will like them both.

...then you might like Argento Soma add

Similar: *Alien - targeting a certain destination and have a similar appearance. *Organization - holding many secrets, using weapons created by alien parts or aliens themselves to fight back. If you like one of them you will maybe like the other one as both are very similar to each other. But Argento Soma do not contain much of the psychological content.

If you liked Gankutsuou add

...then you might like Argento Soma add

They may not be similar at all as Gankutsuou do not have any action and the story is different. But if you like when the main character use their potential as great and nice person to make revenge which led to his or her downfall then you might like both of this animes. Both animes have the feeling "demon acting as a angel" yet Gankutsuou have a lot more of it and show it in a better way which make Argento Soma less similar or better, anyway I think it may be worth to give Argento Soma a small chance. Some other similarity is that both main characters get a chance to revenge from another character/demon and experience a similar tragedy. Quality wise Gankutsuou surpass everything in Argento Soma except the action and it would be better if you have seen Argento Soma first.

Basara and Vash are quite similar as they both hate to fight and their appearance with glasses look similar. Basara using his music and Vash use his humour or "stupidity" with their evading skills when they battle and their purpose is same I guess. The main girls in both animes are also making troubles for the main character but they are helpful too. Even if the settings and the plot are diffrence I think you will like them both but you have to like the music in Macross 7.
