The leads of either manga dont have any actual power, but in case of GnB he is noetheless quite capable. (Minato in Sekirei not so much)

In both the charactares have to constantly struggle for survival. The origin of the threat is a mistery. SnK is more of a battle manga, KnI a survival game. Although labeled as shounen, they sometimes fit better in the seinen genre (like quite a few series in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine). Both are amazing reads and feel similar.

Arms Peddler feels like a more mature version of Kurohime. The main characters are much alike: A white haired woman followed by a younger guy, because she saved his life. Additionally both mangas have a steampunk/ western setting.

Both are action, adventure, fantasy, seinen mangas. They are very gory and contain lots of supernational elements( e. g. either of them have some sort of alternative dimension or there are magic users, etc. ). Dorohedoro however involves more comedy. Anyway, both of them are great mangas.
