It started good at first, everything about the rental thing is a unique theme on romance genre, but then at the middle (around 110-170+) the thing on the making the movie arc, I feel like they really stretch it quite a bit, when I was on that arc, I'm thinking that the author/mangaka intends to milk the series.

Then there's the main problem, about the rental thingy, they were so many times they could've just address the problem but the MC is a degenerate, like other review ... says, in some arcs, the characters got a decent development, but then on the next arc, it's like they revert back to their old self and all that development from the previous arc are thrown off.

Don't get started on the "about to confess something (love or the lie) but then some weird thing happens and it the confession got interrupted" trope, while sometimes it's good to use that on romance mangas, I feel like they overused it here a little too much, like for example in the previous arcs, the character development of a certain character from that arc will certainly pulls out the confession, but it gets interrupted, then next arc continues, it's been forgotten and the character development are all thrown off, I believe the author/mangaka is doing it purpose to extend the series (milk the series because apparently it is popular in japan), while I know where he's coming, I think he overly stretch it too far this time, I've seen some stretched mangas, like the masamune-kun's revenge, even the mangaka bluntly says that he's extending the series, but at the end of the day, he did not overly stretch it, not like this one, that series ended with only below 100 chapters, because no matter how hard he try to stretch the series, it will conclude, here I think there are numerous times he could've end the series, but he keeps extending it, I don't know if it's him or the publishing company is doing it, but aside from that annoying "confession interrupted" overuse, the story is quite decent, the MC is trash, I mean tier 1 trash, sure he's got some character development, but then like I said it's thrown away and back to being trash again, which is one the annoying part of the series (most annoying for me is the confession interruption).

The only redeeming qualities of the series are the waifus, let's talk about them, at first I'm into ruka then during the making the movie arc, I'm also rooting for chizuru, but at the same time rooting for ruka, but as the series progress, I kinda getting annoyed on chizuru too (still saying MC is client but clearly it's not), then ruka is starting to becomes annoying too, the only thing I view them as redeeming qualities is because of how they look, I mean men how can you not love those beautiful babies.

While I rate the anime 7, mostly because it's just the best part of the series and it being animated it superb, the anime character style is also good (I prefer their anime looks, though I'm also fine with Reiji's art syle).

EDIT:
Another thing I forgot about some other things I find annoying in the manga is the kazuya constantly drools over and explains in detail how perfect chizuru is, another is when kazuya is in sham about the girl, he always dreams about getting NTRed, like men if he really got NTRed, it's his fault, but it's really low and disgusting that a MC is having thoughts of NTR and getting aroused by it, it's like he thinks the girls on the series are easy, and will sleep to other guys that fast, then another annoying thing is whenever a main girl appear (chizuru, mami, ruka, sumi, yae) all the strangers would drool over the girls, like we get it, they are hot, but don't use it every time just to make the manga longer, and finally the overly reuse of old chapters art for flashback, while this only comes later in the series, there is one chapter that is 30% from old chapters.

The story only progress around 210+ which is just few chapters before the ongoing, that's how far the mangaka stretch the series.

As I'm writing this review, It currently has 6 chapters.

STORY: 8
If you like World end harem: fantasia, this is kinda similar, but much more lighter and comedic than fantasia, the ecchi is the big factor why I read this, It's decent for an ecchi.

ART: 8
I saw the Illustrations of Ookuma Nekosuke on the Light Novel version, I know it won't come close to that, but the art on this manga is acceptable because of the comedic side of the story, also the mangaka is famous for hentai, what could go wrong? right?

So far, I haven't encounter anyone annoying yet, the characters are likeable.

Mostly the enjoyment I feel is from the ecchi, but sometimes it's from the comedic side of the story.

OVERALL : 8
Overall I would say it's an 8 for me.

EDIT 1 (after finishing chapter 9) - chapter 9 is lit, I'd rate it a little higher now at 9, lily best girl!!!.

10/10 for me.

Everyone hates it because they did not get the "route" or ending they want, but if you watched this with open mind, you will find to be masterpiece. MC is on lower average tier for me but not trash, Hina is on average tier for me, just because of that thing with her teacher if not for that she could be a high tier character for me, but I still wished Hina ended up with MC, Rui is on average tier, but overall all the characters are very likeable.

I don't know why they hate this masterpiece. Took me 5 months to move ... on with this anime, I really wished Hina ended up with our MC because they both loved each other, it was hinted in earlier episode that Hina do have feelings for our MC, now that it is mutual It should've been a happy ending, also Hina need someone to make her happy because of all her past experience, she deserve the love of our MC.
