Listen boys and girls, we all know why we're here. Synecdoche with the original manga appealed to a very specific audience and the anime does nothing to change that (In fact the girls are even bigger here!). If Ecchi with very little to no story isn't for you, then you're gonna hate this anime for sure.
As someone who's read the original manga, this is a rather faithful adaptation. All of the story beats are applied here in a 12 minute format, and even has a few extra scenes to pad it out a bit. Since it is a rather storyless manga, I didn't come in

expecting a full on 24 minute series that expands on the background of characters. However for some, I can see this being a turn off because it could give some much needed context to make you care more about it's universe.
Unfortunately as a few people here has said, the anime's biggest issue is it's animation quality. Some shots look very off (The dopey looking rotoscope dancing the characters do at the intro is the most notable example), and when some characters move it's a very stiff back and forth motion. It's very obviously a low budget anime, which is fine, but when you compare the detail of the original manga and switch over to this, then it's jarring. The music is also very generic as well
