Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song is one of those examples where Animation quality and Sound production value don't mean anything when the writing is the bottom low tier to be even accepted as mediocre and I still don't get why this thing gets praise considering how poor the writing was.
When you talk about an AI going on a rampage against humanity what would you think? Because human doesn't deserve the world? It'll lead to another extinction? Humans abuse AI so much that they developed feelings? Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song talked about none of those which is rather surprising. Philosophy was also brought onto the table whenever
...
this was setting picked up. Does AI have feelings? Do they feel hurt? What is the reason they were born? Will humans accept them as living beings if they develop emotional value? Yep, once again Vivy almost discusses nothing of sort. It just tries to be dramatic as possible whenever it can and yet it serves no value to the story and the characters. You'll technically feel nothing for what happened in this somewhat tragic anime.
When I saw the first episode I thought this could be interesting following the event will go down as a time passage yet we get nothing about it. The part where an AI sent to past with "HTML AMAZON CODE" is nothing more than a funny shit to behold. I'm lost for words when this happened and where it tries to connect the lost ties in the end.
Last but not least wouldn't be Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song without the flashy Art/Animation following some quality Insert song and VA. That's is something else to behold especially when we're talking about an AI that sings as her mission. Despite saying it has some good action scenes in it and some decent dancing opening scenes it still somewhat left you with no memorable part of it because all of it truly serves as nothing. It's nothing but a flashy scene that makes you probably ignore the fact that none of it matters when you have rubbish writing painted all through these 13 episodes of anime.
Can't say I'm enjoying Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song. I felt like it was more an attempt to cash grab with all production values goes towards the animation, VA, and the music while leaving the story the last as it almost the author write it without a plan in the middle. It's just about how it Start and how it End because tbh you can start watching the first episode and skip to 10th episode and none of episode 2-9 matters.
Overall it's something you should be watching yourself and judge because of the contradiction between my score and MAL scores. But if you do Watch it, please do not expect it as good as Ghost in the Shell, Blade Runner, Ex Machina, Mass Effects, Space Odyssey, Nier Automata, or any other AI-based Sci-fi. because I can assure you this anime won't be close to any of those.

First of all I rarely review something unless it really triggers me but nothing has ever bothered me except this one.
I am quite kind when giving Score but its kinda subjective so take it with a grain of salt before you start reading it, or you might already finished and had the same impressions.
Note : I Finished reading in on 1 day.. 1 frickin day. start from 11 am to 9 pm over 18 volume, 181 chapter 3600+ pages.
This manga was amazing if you liked Elfen Lied well except it wont be what you expected, but i'll say you should give a try before
...
skipping it so you know how unbearable it was to read it.
Be wary that theres no Proper Romance despite the flag, so yeah i warned you dont expect too much about your shipping.
Here we go,
Story 3/10 : Its good from 1-100, its quite written, they add some abit of drama here and there though on some scene, instead trying to make the readers "Feel" it'll make you want to throw up and laugh. Why? because it felt like forced but overall 1-100 is Quite good, its worth to read Thats why i am hooked on the first place by reading it on a single day.
So you got the point already. You've read the summary and you might as well read other reviewers or watched the "Anime" which seems like a trainwreck.
From 100-181 onwards everything felt starting falling appart, they tried to connect it but then Fails abruptly with scene skipping.
I am not going to lie from about 100+ manga i've read (not included in my DB) this had to be worst ending and pacing i've ever seen. Check it yourself i guess? I cant spoil you unless you're asking for it.
Art : Lets keep it simple, Grotesque Gore,Blood,Bones,Innards,Splattering,Not really cute but okay art they tried. Then what i mostly notice are their "TEARS" Oh god its looks like a fucking melted skin (exactly the same with manga art) or a cum you may say. I am not even exaggerating it because its actually looks like one.
Character : Nothing memorable, They tried to build character but always messed by nonsense scene. I doubt you can even cry by the Death of the characters. They felt like 1 dimension personality.
The 6 Main Character
Kuroha : The Memory cliche, Dere? Oh looks childhood friends.
Ryouta : Tragic back story,Beta MC,Hey at least its smart, but the persona are flat af
Kazumi : The Energetic one, Well except shes hiding her feelings about not wanting to die including how bold she is with MC wanting to bear his child. Well shes quite memorable tbh the character design(looks) making her looks like a side character though.
Kana : Goth Loli, Actually had backstory but not explained properly, the one that wants to protect. I think thats pretty much it? For a human personality shes just an average nice girl
Kotori : No one probably will remember her anyway so yeah i'll skip her
Hatsuna : Oh looks! Another girls who loves MC! Except you might regret shipping those two. You'll get it after you start reading it on Chapter 100+.
Like i said you'll probably only get attached to 1-2 characters Thats pretty much it. The side characters are easly forgotten, heck even the main can be thrown off easly.
Theres alot of nonsense emotional shift which is why it felt like a forced scene because the development are too slow due the chapter are catching up this "Drugs" timers. They should've be done with it. They did but seriously... Its just not enough for proper development.
Enjoyment 3/10 : Like i said it start out pretty good early then fell downhill.. i dont think fell downhill is a good word. How about Free Falling?
Yes after the Valkyrie arc on 100+ The arc were rushed, theres alot of things i dislike lik how this guy even here? Are we seriously killing over without any reason again? Why that scene not even mentioned? The last Volume (18) looks like a generic writings by 12 years old and i am not going to lie.
Do you really expect reader to enjoy something like this? And after all that crap The characters have been through you're not even going to do a proper ending? The hell man.
Overall : 3/10 I could even give it 1(Pathethic) because its not even a refreshing or a proper conclusion leaving more and more question isntead answers.
Like i said all those tortures and events they've been through and they gained pretty much little to nothing from it.
Its not satisfying at all.
Elfen Lied Safed with that endings, its heartwarming and it pretty much conlclude all character story by summing it up in a chapter. but not this one..
Its unbearable to read it and it leaves me a bad taste to watch more from this kind of manga.
God.. even Comedy/Parody Manga such as Bounbogami Ga could made me cry and a proper ending for the conclusion.
This one? Nope.
Looks foward to the ongoing Parallel worlds if you finished this one.
Thanks for reading

Updated as in 39 Chapter Minor Spoiler review
My first thought that it actually was a Pure Romcom,
What i actually got is somekind NTR crap that have been hinted in some early chapter.
Simply put theres hidden Genre here which is" Harem and Drama" as later chapter introduce more female characters.
Story : 2
Poorly Writen, Bad background, slow Pacing as in Slice of life, theres yet visible character development.
I cant say much about the story as nothing have been uncovered yet and it pursue further towards Drama Romance. tl;dr its about nonsense drama in past following MC dillema with the 2 main girls. Thats pretty much it.
Art
...
: 7
Moderate, Nothing unique.
Characters : 3
Naoto - Denser than neutron Star, Siscon, a generic School boy.
Naoto Little Siter (Suzu) - Annoying brat who keep saying "Oniichan". She derailed the story.
Satsuki : Does little to no improvement, and there I thought she would be trouble maker for story instead getting thing more complex than it already was
F-cup Chan/Ishihara Yukari : A stereotypical Shy Thot that unaware about her circles, You should read up till the part where her Mom introduced in story to see the change of her personality along the way.
Enjoyment : 1
Everytime i read it, The story tone goes towards what i despised the most which is "NTR Drama".
Drama is great when the execution done well but this one seems endless route where you can see where its going and it is not a Mystery.
Considering how the story goes right now i fail to find similiar series under the same theme as in MAL recommendation was like Masamune/Koi to Uso/Nisekoi, it does nothing close to that.
If you're a sane person with good humour, you wont find a good ROMCOM here and neither does the Drama unless you're into "NTR" and Teen angst.
Overall : 3
Bad, really like bad. You can try reading few chapters or do some skimming "How bad is actually bad".
Do not get baited by the Romcom genre, You wont find it here.
Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen tittle actually explain everything you need to know about the MC Summary (Watari's XX Is on the Brink of Collapse) , where you see the MC is tearing about due romance issues with badly written drama that force you into thinking that this story wont go well like this and it strive to stay on the same route with character that potrayed similiar to NTR/Cheating story.
You have been warned.

Story : 3/10
Sometimes you need to admit when you are fan of the game and it got adapted but story mess up the whole scene. Theres plenty of thing unexplained here. Except if you do some research or re-watch again then you would understand the series.
Art : 8/10
From my experience the art wasnt that dissapointed in fact its better than i expect from the game.
Sound : 7/10
If you played the game it was the same except they added more new songs and edit it. But it wasnt my type of sound (bgm). If it was voice acting. They did well.
Character : 5/10
As the main character
...
Ragna the Bloodedge the actor didnt match well with the anime and some characters screwed alot. Character progress went bad at first the they start fixing it as the story progress.
Enjoyment : 8/10
As a fan of Blazblue i must admit when you get the whole story from the beginning it went well. At first sight it would be awkward with the story mess up then with alot of incoming characters, more explained history and do some research on google They did very well with the adaption. Also some extra scene as known as Fan Service and side joke make the anime complete.
Overall : 6/10
I do recommend this anime for those who played the game before either way if you didnt know the game i recommend skip this one and move to another anime, beacuse the story was really complicated here without any research or the game you cannot understand easly the storyline.
