I’ve looked at several reviews and many people have condemned this anime due to the fact that it had stripped all glory from the novel. Although the anime is not the same as the novel and left many things out and they may have toned down the BL, it’s not a horrible anime. The story itself is very….refining you could say, in the sense that both protagonists are very loyal to each other, showing friendship at its full glory. It shows how much it meant to Nezumi that Shion saved him 4 years ago, and how important kindness is. Okay, so I’m rambling a bit

A lot of people who have not watched Naruto have probably heard of how crap it is or how many fillers there are.
WELL. Naruto is probably as mainstream anime as you can get and as much as they drag the story on, I suppose it's quite necessary as they explain every aspect of every character's life. The whole story at first may seem to revolve about the main character, 'naruto', who wants to be the hokage of his village (hokage being the head/most strong ninja of the village), but as you get further into the story there are many minor arcs that involve all the ... This is the second half of the vampire knight series.
It's quite different from the manga however, it branches off nicely. Because there were only two seasons I thought that it ended well and adequately. The main things stay the same however if you wanted to continue the story through the manga I would suggest reading the manga from the beginning because some important things are left in the anime. Overall, a great sequel and satisfying ending. It definitely lead me to read the manga because I got sucked in by the plot x) May 25, 2011
I found this movie to be extremely depressing. I got quite bored throughout the movie as there was a lot of talking scenes where there was no action.
A few things that really annoyed me was that the art was completely different to the one in the anime series, as was the voices of the characters. If you're a big fan of the series, I suggest you watch it as you get to know heaps about Kenshin's past, and how he got the scar on his cheek. :) May 25, 2011

I LOVED this anime. It had a very unique storyline that kept me interested until the end. There was very few fillers, and the characters are realistic (being that they don't have out of proportion body parts, random personalities).
It has romance, action, unexpected twists, I think it is definitely worth watching but the first episode explains everything so it might be a little boring for some people. And for those who love space, pretty images of the universe, you'll get a huge dose of it :) May 24, 2011

At first it seems like your typical shojo anime, however you get drawn into the storyline. The plot gradually grew, but I thought that they rushed the ending of it. Unlike many other anime, the story is quite similar to the manga, so if you if you read the manga as well, then you'll be glad.
I'm personally a huge fan of romantic scenes and there were quite a few of them that just made me all mushy inside. There was a lot of action scenes as well so it isn't all just lovey dovey....so yeah, I think it's worth watching. This is my first review, I ... |
