10/10 if you're motorcycle nerd, it contains soo many references that make it funny if you're in the know. It has some fun takes on silly rivalship that happens in the hobby and it's history
6/10 otherwise, without that knowledge you'd just be missing a ton of jokes or they won't be as funny without the wider context.
Overall it's a slice of life anime centred around motorcycle culture. It also have literal Jesus on Bike. At least one anthropomorphised bike.
Some 3D on motorcycles but IMO done pretty well, decent animation, state-required amount of boob bounce, memes for days and cute characters
No real story across episodes whatsoever,

The deuteragonist of the anime, Suzumiya Haruhi is the utter piece of maniplulative egotistical human trash with protag complex, given power by mysterious stroke of fate to control reality. Molesting her classmate in every episode is the least of her crimes, the rest of the cast is (aside from the protag/narrator) result of her malevolent imagination putting her chunibyo imagination to life, that then decide to fight back and keep their existence before she wipes them out of reality out of boredom.
Entire anime is focused on stopping this malevolent-entity-turned-schoolgirl from breaking reality apart by keeping that monster amused. Which is occasionally funny. |
