As far as Shaman King goes, this is probably the second best adaptation after the original 2001 Shaman King anime, and at least for me it's way better than 2021, although technically it's the direct sequel to that.
The first season (and it's questionable whether we'll get a second one) is solid, especially the first few episodes are fun when the main character of Hana gets lose and goes berserk. Animation is great, sound is decent, characters are quite fine, but the big problem is the absolute lack of explanations, lore and story. So many questions are left unanswered it's crazy. Some characters from previous
...
runs are changed so much, sometimes it feels like a complete side-story, rather than a direct sequel to 2021 run. Hao especially is an entirely different entity, and feels nothing like the character he was developed into before.
Despite this being a sequel, almost none of the story from 2021 is followed up, almost all main characters are entirely new, and the overall plot has almost nothing to do with the 2021 anime. It's clear the show wants to explore the lore and deeper layers of the world and how everythng works, but current run of 13 episodes is painfully too short for that, and while a lot of important stuff gets set-up, almost nothing is paid off or explained. It feels like the start of a 100-something episode show, but at this point it's unclear whether we'll ever get a second season, and in this particular case the first seaons feels like it accomplishes maybe 3% of what it's meant to.
It's not a bad show, and what's there is done well, but there's just not much in it beyond visuals.

A really weird show.
On the other hand it's a decent remake-sequel of the original Shaman King anime, with the first dozen or so episodes rehashing the original story, but the rest is completely reworked and unique. So if you've seen the original show, the first half of this 2021 run is kind of boring, but it really picks up and becomes very interesting and fun after than, but the end is just weak sauce.
Instead of an epic fight at the climax, we get some almost random ending that does feel rushed and almost like they cheaped out on it.
No clue what happens in the

manga, but judging anime strictly by itself, it's really weird how all the hype and buildup ends up not paying off at all, not to mention, it's spoiled like halfway through the show how the story will end.
Overall, the story isn't terrible, but the ending really lets it down.

This is pretty poor excuse for Naruto series. Like, literally.
The best/only way to watch this, is to Google the list of filler episodes, and then just skip them completely, focusing only on the actual story.
Even in that case, what's left of anime is really, really bland and tasteless. While Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden never were the tip top of storytelling, both series overall plot was quite intereting and exciting. Boruto? Literally only the first part of the first episode is interesting, the rest is just noise.
At this point I'm watching this not because of interest, but only as "completionist", to know that I've seen

all Naruto anime has to offer. But don't be like me.
It's way better to go and rewatch Naruto/Naruto SP, than to watch this poor excuse for an anime.
Naruto should've ended with the Kaguya battle, I'd have really preferred it if Boruto didn't exi...

Oh boy, where to even start with this one..
I guess I should start with the good things first.
Animation is great, art style is viewer friendly, important scenes are very well animated, fights, specifically last one, are a join to watch and definitely the highlight of the whole series.
Sound is not very exceptional, but sound designers did a good job piecing together soundtrack that fits whole show quite well, especially improving in big fights or important moments.
Story is exceptionally interesting and unique, at least from the perspective of sci-fi anime fan, but this is where good things end and bad things start.
Despite whole idea for
...
the show being very interesting indeed, the way the story is treated is just painful. Characters, specifically the main character Arita Haruyuki, is literally the worst protagonist of any anime series I've ever watched. Seriously, he is so ridiculously weak, clumsy and annoying it almost immediately killed my desire to watch this anime.
Even though he has few high points during the show, any and all possible sympathies towards him are brutally murdered by every single annoying thing he does. By the end of 2nd episode I started hating the main character more than I have ever hated any anime character ever, especially because Arita is probably the biggest crybaby and most helpless character in anime history.
Other characters actually improve the situation somewhat, especially the characters of Black Lotus, Kuroyukihime , and Cyan Pile, Mayuzumi Takumu.
But they also could've been handled way better, but I guess can't ask much from anime watching which I was fantasizing about all the ways Arita could be killed off entirely for the rest of the series so he would never ever come back.
Characters and their story and interactions is actually what made me hate anime as a whole and delayed me completing this anime for like 2 weeks, which is unusual for me, as I normally watch 20-ish episode anime in one or two days max.
And here lies another problem. Characters are definitely the low point of this anime, but if you ignore them, the rest of the show is fine, with the problem being theres not much left. Characters are pretty much 70% of this show, and its bad, because Accel World could've easily been new Sidonia No Kishi or Neon Genesis Evangelion, if the characters were treated in different way. At this point it actually seems like this anime is directed strictly at 8 year old children or so, who only enjoy flashy colorful shows and don't care for the substance, because anyone who can think in long sentences probably will hate this anime as much as I did.
At most, this anime is good for one time viewing, as reviewing it for 2nd or even 3rd time most likely cause severe anger issues and might result in traumatized psyche of anyone who dares to attempt such foolishes.
TL:DR Quite pretty and well-stitched anime that is brutally killed by its characters. Watch only if you like great action scenes, but beware, the action in this anime takes maybe 10% of whole runtime.
