I thought this manga was brilliant.
You should already know that by reading the summary, the relationship between Yuda and Johanne started off as a hope for peace between the North and South. The main focus of this manga is peace and love, and if you don't find interest in those kinds of things, this is not the manga for you.
One of the greatest things I loved about this manga were those cute moments between the two. Sure, the structure was a little bit awkward, but whenever there was a cute moment, I would think about the guy I like, and then my heart

would feel like it's jumping out. :) I could relate to Yuda. When I'm shy, I tend to cover it up with lies but then I blush and then it's totally obvious I'm lying. >.< I'm also like her in the sense that I keep on running away from guys I like which isn't as great in real life as it is in manga since there aren't many nice, persevering guys in the world. ;_;
Anyways, this manga is worth a read and I suggest you give it a try! (=

WARNING: May contain itty-bitty spoilers. :) But it won't ruin your judgement on the anime. I'll be back in a couple more weeks to edit this review as I watch more and more episodes.
As of October 22nd, 2011, I have only watched three episodes of Chihayafuru, but so far, it has shown amazing promise. Already I am so emotionally tied to this series that I almost, ALMOST shed some tears. But boy did my eyes did get watery.

learn Chiyaha isn't quite what you'd expect a beautiful girl to act like - you know, poised, graceful, & calm and collecting and all. Instead, she's clumsy, boyish, and very innocent. I think this is what makes you love her so. Chihaya stands out in both her looks and the way she acts. I know you guys - and don't deny it - we all hate those popular, mean & pretty girls who don't give you a second look. But Chihaya is different. Despite her appearance, she is honest, and does what she believes is right.
Beginning from the last half of the first episodes to the 3rd episode, we go into Chihaya's past (if I am correct, I believe back into junior high). She is friends with a boy named Taichi, who seems to have been a big influence in the class. Anyways, in the class is a quiet boy called Arata. Chihaya, seeing he is being bullied by Taichi and her classmates, stands up for Arata at the cost of her classmates ignoring her.
From Arata, she learns the passion and art of karuta. In case you don't know what karuta is, to put it simply, you must find the card when the line from a poem is being read before your opponent does. It sounds boring when I try explaining it to you, but you'll get it when you WATCH, WATCH, WATCH (!!) the anime.
STORY [9]
I would give it a 10, but I need to see a few more episodes before I can confirm this.
ART [10]
In case, I haven't said this yet, the art is AMAZING. The only fault I find with it is when they're kids (in the flashback), the characters don't look as appealing as they do when they're in high school, thus shadowing on the beauty of the art. The background scenes are leaning towards average, but the character art is very easy on the eyes.
SOUND [7]
I haven't paid much attention to the music, but since nothing has stuck out to me, I'll give it a solid 7. I might come back and edit this section after a couple more episodes.
CHARACTER [9]
The character development is great. I think it's amazing how much I've gotten to know each of the characters already. I look forward to watching them grow in their own ways.
ENJOYMENT [9]
Truth be told, maybe 9 isn't really a fair judgement. It should be a 10. But being a shoujo and romance addict, I have to give it the lower score of 9 because there is almost no, romance so far. I can see tiny hints of it here and there though, and I'm hoping, hoping very badly that it might blossom into something else altogether as the story progresses.
OVERALL [8.5]
This might seem like a low score with all my praise about it up above, but I'm basing all of this on merely THREE episodes. I have to keep my bar raised high since it is only the beginning and it could all spiral down from this point on as more episodes pass, so for now...

Oh gosh, I can't believe this manhwa hasn't been reviewed yet. Well, I guess it's an honor for me to be the first one then.
Forget About Love, or Lover Discovery, starts out with a unique story frame. This story is about a girl who got into an accident and went into a coma, and when she wakes up a month later, she has no memories of her past self. Naturally, she wants to know who she is. So she embarks on the task of discovering her memories. But she finds that all the people she meets [who clearly have met

her before] all have some grudges against her? Apparently, the original Se-Lim Lee was a famed blackmailer who has in the past tore up a forbidden love between teacher and her student, has a boy who will follow her orders because of she knew his weakness, and basically picked on any innocent person because that was her hobby.
With that said, I'm sure I can leave the imagination to you. Picture yourself in the same situation. You wake up from a long slumber, and you find out everyone hates you because of something you did that you can't even remember. Because of this set up, you can expect many funny moments of Se-Lim Lee discovering her past. If you enjoy funny stories, this is one for you.
As of now, I have only read 13 chapters, but in that short amount of chapters, I have come to like this manwha quite a lot. I can't find any faults in it. My only request would be that the chapters would comes out faster! D:
[STORY]: 8.5
Really, I would grade this a 9.5 or even a 10, but I think I should wait for a few more chapters before I give this manwha the benefit of doubt. I couldn't ask for anything more here, but 10 = masterpiece, and the story's not quite there. I want to see what it develops into.
[ART]: 7
The art is fairly decent. It's not so unsightly that it might make you not want to read it, but it isn't something that you'd go "omg this drawing is so cute; I'm gonna print it out and put it on my binder". The manwhaka does a decent job at drawing all of the characters, but I do wish that a little more effort could have been put in for Se-Lim's girl friends. The boys are well drawn, but there is nothing spectacular there. One thing I might point out is hair. Somewhere in those first 13 chapters, there is a scene of a woman laying down, and I have to take note that her hair splayed out on the ground was really well drawn.
[CHARACTER]: 9
There's nothing wrong with the characters, and I do like how they portrayed Se-Lim's past self and how sharply it contrasts to Se-Lim's current personality. And

The reason I have this Hana to Akuma a 10 is because not many shoujos ever venture out to capture your heart. At the beginning, you may already be reluctant to keep on going because the manga starts out as the stereotype of a "typical shoujo manga." Hana to Akuma is about a demon (if you like vampires, well, this demon drinks blood) who picks up a human girl left in the cold and in the beginning, Vivi gives off the pretense that as soon as she gives him any trouble, she'll be disposed of.
Hana, the girl, is one of those

brightening girls with a brilliant happy smile that people describe as a blossoming flower.
[A flower touched by a demon will wither and crumble.]
"A flower touched by a demon will crumble."
"If I touch Hana, she will crumble and wither, too."
These are the feelings of Vivi. If he touches her, he's afraid it will hurt that precious smile of hers.
I understand why you may not like this story. I mean, afterall, a 14 year old human girl and a 200 year-old demon? And Hana looks like a kid and a dwarf next to Vivi. Ah, but (SPOILER) (SPOILER) (SPOILER),
don't worry. Throughout the 58 chapters available, there is a potion that Hana sometimes digests for occasions in the demon world in which the potion makes her grown up. Also, the last few chapters are when Hana has grown up into a 17 year old girl, and she's no longer the baby she used to be. :) This story is amazingly funny yet tinged with sadness of the impossibility of the love and will keep you laughing, but as the end of the story nears, you will feel a pain as there are less and less chapters and less chapters until the end.

As most manga with less than 20 chapters, events and happenings move at a considerably fast pace that leaves you struggling to keep up. In the story Hitoribocchi wa Samishikute, there is evidence of that. The relationship between Shio and Nao develops too quickly and thus gives off a sense of unrealism. However, their friendship and ties of love are very sweet. Hand in hand, they both run towards their dreams, overcoming and obstacles together.
Shio is first portrayed a quiet girl who her classmates think ill of. She dreams of becoming a singer and writes all her feelings into songs.
...
One day Nao and Shio's classmates discover her notebook of feelings. Shio runs crying, and Nao confronts her and tells her to sing for him. Thus begins their journey of dreams.
"I want to be free and fly towards my dream."
