Overall, I really hated this anime. However, it was was still ok to stomach past all the facts that everyone in this anime is stupid. many times i found myself, yelling at the screen, rooting for teams that neither existed, then found myself, hating the team i rooted for to find out, it was pointless.

Yes, the plot to shiki, made sense, in more ways then one, but for a story itself. it was just a constant, and slow, conflict to the resolve of that conflict that it was to late to care anymore for the conclusion. You just wanted it to be over with. ... The entire anime felt more like it was insulting its viewer rather then insulting their own characters. Instead of hoping something would happen, let it be as small as saving someone the viewer finds remotely interesting, or finding one thing that would make sense to keeping the useless characters and getting rid of the characters that would make a damn to the plot.

If you're looking for comfort in this anime, there is none. you sorta get the feeling 6 episodes in, then suddenly it draws on tell 17, because the viewer cant get over the fact how idiotic the characters are, forcing you to finish the anime in hopes of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, that happy ending that, should be there, or even the conclusion that isn't Frankensteins monster.

I understand the grey area that this anime was aiming for, but making a Conflict go on and on and on and on then resolve that conflict to make another conflict that endings in a conflict to the point a conflict turns into a train reck. isnt a conclusion to a plot, its more like a PSA.

If you want an anime that disregards resolving overall conflicts, or "a means to an end". you might like this anime. Heck if you like Frankenstein Monster(those old films) you might really like it. however, if your looking for comfort, or a happy story... even to the *spoiler* of the road. this is not the anime for you.
