If the thematic is "Samurai" and is not Gintama it will probably suck so stay away please!
Gibiate, Yasuke, Orient and now this digimon trainers wannabe.
It is incredible how everyone tries and fails to tell a decent samurai story.
"Bucchigire!" is just to much for me, first of all let's not talk about how every single look like they were drawn by a 5 year old with way too many colors at hand.
I understand the fact you have like 7-8 main characters and you want the viewer to remember all of them, but that's not how you do it, just give them a backstory, not just
...
say that one of them killed his father and then never talk about that subject anymore (Nice Itachi reference btw). And... of course the only female character was abused and that's why she is a "criminal" right now. What a rebel woman OMAIGOD!!!, that's some strong woman character development, I bet all the girls from Instagram with "she/her" would be proud of her.
Didn't say anything about the redhead main character because there is nothing to say, just your typical main character which we have seen in countless anime before.
Overall the anime is boring, again one of those anime where you find yourself pausing the episode multiple times asking yourself: "Isn't there any better seasonal anime for summer 2022, than this bs?"

"Don't judge a book by its cover" is a metaphorical phrase that represents Aharen- San's perfect. Let me explain: In the trailer of the anime we are shown things that were popular back in 2017-2018 (When the manga's first Issue appeared) like Fidget Spinners and Fornite dances, so things that were popular back in 2017-2018 are now shown in a 2022 Adaptation... at first, I thought that was not the best idea, but now watching the first 4 episodes I can say that this anime is worth watching!
Being an introvert (kinda) myself I love watching things that I can relate to, so this anime was
...
kinda calling me out to watch it because both of the main characters are introverts, even if I had to witness Fornite dances in an anime, but it was just one segment, now I'm fine, thanks for asking!
Also, I think it is worth mentioning that everything in this anime is simple (Story, Characters, Humor)... btw I recommend not to watch it if you expect a masterpiece because it is not. Aharen-San is just an anime you can watch after a hard day to forget about your daily problems and put a smile on your face before going to sleep.
Sometimes when I feel down I find myself watching random clips from this anime on Youtube, a thing that rarely happened to me before.

What does: Uzaki-chan, Nagataro-san, Komi-san and Kitagawa-san have in common?
They are all the main character in animes that focus mostly on the waifu and ignores secondary characters or/and even the main male character even if the story is shown from his perspective to keep the viewer interested. What am I talking about? In "Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru" (A SLICE OF LIFE ANIME) in 5 episodes, we barely see 3 characters that have any relevance to the story which is sad.
What's the name of the male main character again? ahhhh it's Gojou but how do I know? Kitagawa-san yells his name for like
...
5 minutes in an episode to make the viewer not forget his name again, because that's how much we know about him, and the fact that he lives with his grandpa and his parents died (typical backstory for every main character in the Slice of Life genre).
Of course, it is rated 13+ with some aspects of ecchines to bring the typical virgin viewer into watching (exactly like Uzaki-chan or Nagataro-san), including one of my actual classmates who is watching / or watched all of this waifu-based anime, in my opinion at this point we should have a genre called "Waifu is Life" or smth like that so we know what to avoid from now on.
Overall Sono Bisque Doll failed to impress me, it is just your typical PG slice of life that is here to make NSFW Artists richer, if you enjoy watching an anime that is based mostly on the main girl and you own a body-pillow with zero two, this is the anime for you!
BTW: How can u include Nagataro-san and Uzaki-chan in the same genre with goats like Fruits Basket, 3-gatsu no Lion and Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi, shame on you!!

Watching "Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki" felt like watching a trash Sunday night TV Show where every single episode ends up with the main character finding something, but it doesn't show the viewer right away, but promises to do it in the next episode. That's some Bollywood smart-ass tactics I can say. Yea that's how I just see this anime. I Have seen like 6 episodes and I can already say that the story goes exactly nowhere, the characters are so generic you can barely get attached to any of them. First of all you have the main characters who everyone thinks that he is
...
"special" or something and the female main character which is just some cheap ass king's daughter, with no special talent or special abilities. Then you have the supporting characters and of course it needs to be more cute girls so the main female character gets jealous when any of those girls approach the main male character and yea... And one of the girls sings like what the hell, it wasn't cringe enough that we always end up episodes with some raveling but not show it? Wow, we sing, What is this ? "How a realist hero rebuilt the high school musical" ? Get your shit together. Of course we have an useless fat dude that does nothing but eating and talking about food. And then there is that smart dude who looks kind of evil, but he is not and he joins forces with the main male character, just to betray him in the end (probably, that didn't happen in the six episodes that I saw, I'm just assuming that will happen because that's what happens in every generic Isekai)
After finishing some episodes you might ask yourself: "Didn't I watch this anime already ? " Most of the episodes are way too similar and they add zero to the story. "Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki" is just your generic Sunday Isekai where nothing really happens.

Avoid this, if your 12 years old cousin, Virgil, is telling you that this anime is good, just tell him to get lost because this crap doesn't deserve your attention, dear sir, just go ahead and watch anything else, there are better movies about time traveling, better anime, better tv shows.
First of all, I would like to point out the lack of mature characters and authority figures in this anime... So puffed up 15-16 years old kids can do whatever they want in Tokyo without anyone telling them anything, they live in gangs, they fight to the death in parks, they have access to knives,
...
pumps even motorcycles at 16 years old, you can just add this anime to the genre "fantasy" because that's kind of what it is a wannabe Craiova (NOTE: Craiova is the city from Romania, where people often fight over anything and sometimes not even the police can stop them, lots of murders happen there every year because of any stupid reason you can think of.).
Second of all, I have decided to drop this anime after 14 episodes because most of the characters are dreadful, boring, repetitive, there is always that character you suspect is behind everything bad that happens in the story, but he is not, and you keep on suspecting every new character evil-looking is behind the bad thing that had to happen to the main character. Shit repetitive twists like that make the story worse, and characters like Mikey and Draken lose their credibility when they refuse to side with our main character despite everything that he has done for them.
I would say that kids will probably enjoy this, that is thought so 14-15 years old kids will love it, but with all this blood I don't think Tokyo Revengers aim for the younger generation as their audience
Overall after 14 episodes watched I got to the conclusion that Tokyo Revengers is a reheated porridge that is served to us every week.
