Well, I don't really watch much of the Isekai genre because I find most of them usually very boring, but this one is on another level.
First of all, it's a comedy with very clever writing. It's a story about uncle that was transported to another world, but he wasn't all powerful at first.... he was considered as an orc in that world and was sold for a 3 coins that is equal to 0,3 yen (I don't really remember the exact price, but you got it). Further more, many funny things continued to happening with him and after 17 years he was transported back to ... the real life, and he...... yeah... can use magic in the real world, but he need to use Japanese now to make it work instead of the language that he was used in the Isekai world.
He got along with his nephiew and now they are living in the apartment together , yeah, not in the magic world with garem. That is pretty much it. You may actually wonder how is that possible, if he is in real world now, what's the point of making the anime of him being there, there are nothing interesting and you are wrong there.
He still can use magic in our world, so that's not it, right? But don't give a high hopes, it's not like he's going to make some baddass stuff with his magic powers, he's just a normal 30 years uncle, who was playing videogames his entire life after all. But how is that supposed to be interesting, you may wonder.
Well, you need to see that in person, it's not like I'm used to laugh at anime at all, but this one was able to make me laugh several times, you need to give it a try..... One of the best Isekai anime for my opinion after all.

Well, first of all I'm not going to talk about plot of the anime cuz you can just read other reviews and figure it out by yourself, and I don't see a good reason for why I need to thoroughly describe you the plot of this anime because the main point of my review is to tell you WHY I consider this anime as a good one.
As you can see that the main genre of this anime is SPORT, so technically it's a Sport Anime, and from that point of view I can say that this is one of the best sport anime. But ... it's not really a "sport" anime and I'm going to tell you why.
Well, I looked up the reviews on this anime before writing my own and I found an interesting one, to clarify I really love this anime but there are some cons in it. As I said before, I found an interesting review where was said that this anime is not realistic in terms of sport. For example, there was one character who was the weakest in the team and he was running 5km in 35+ minutes, but only in about half and a year or a year he was able to run a 5km track in 16 minutes which is not possible in real life. An amateur can achieve a 5km in 20-25 in a year or more and it is already very difficult. So sport's stats are not the strongest part of this show.
But that's not why I love this anime, this anime is about passion, drama, hard work and power of the friendship, there are so many things that made me cry while I was watching it that I couldn't even count. I cannot tell you why this anime made me feel this way otherwise it would be a spoiler, but if you want to watch some slice-of-life drama that is happening on the running track, this anime is definitely for you.
Btw I rewatch this anime every year and it's motivated me to start running

Hyouka is one of the best Anime of all time but statistically, most of the people are dumb and by dumb I imply many factors (its not something about IQ, it's about point of view of the people in general). Even though many of you can disagree with me, there is no doubt that most of the people are NOT self-conscious, they just live their life without thinking about it much and that is why they can find Hyouka a very boring and tedious.
I see no sense of describing the main plot of this anime, as many of you already know that as "very boring ... slice of life highschool anime with boring characters and very tedious mysteries".
Let me start with this at first, if you see a mysteries about some highscool stuff, something that can happen in you every day life as boring, then I have a bad news for you. You can't decide which mystery is better by just looking at their scale. For example, tell me which of the mysteries is better, where you need to find a reason for why most of the people in the world turned into a zombies or why some robber stole the useless frying pan at the summer festival? You'll definitely say it is the first one that is so intriguing, but you can't tell by just looking at the scale of this mysteries, it's writing-wise by that you can tell which one is better. If the writing is bad, there are many flaws and holes in the story and their pieces are not really connected to each other, than it's the bad mystery.
You'll not see that in Hyouka, and that is why it is so good, because it's well-written. It is the first advantage of the story but if you like a slice of life setting, than it is the best choice for you and the second advantage of the story.
It's not just mysteries that are good here it's also a meaningful conversations and characters-development. The one who watches only seinen anime or something like this will not see a big development in the main characters at first, because they get used to big and loud speeches, which they will not see in this anime. You need to think to figure out the subtle changes in the main cast, just like in real life. That is why i love this anime so much, because it is the nearest to real life setting.
That is why i do not recommend this anime to most of the people as most of them do not like think very much and just like to watch some action with demons, blood, murders and other fiction and unrealistic staff. I don't blame them though, when I tired I don't really want to think much and just want to relax watching some bullshit staff.
P.s: It's impossible to notice all the details in the Hyouka when you watch it for the first time, so you need to watch it at least 2 or 3 times. If you just don't like the slice of life genre it's okay, everyone has a different taste, but if you are going to say how much this anime sucks just because you find it boring, you officially considered as a non self-conscious person. All you need to say to be a self-conscious person is that it's your opinion, and with that there is no point arguing with you.
