Both have a pair of a human girl and a mythical/godlike creature/guy as its main characters. They are both manhwas (full colour). They go on an adventure (kind of) to fulfill the main guys goal and along the way they meet new people (most of them are mythical creatures) that help and/or hinder them. Both are adventure and fantasy stories with (complicated) romance, and they take inspiration from mythology. There is an orb that grants powers and is in a way a big focus for many of the characters. Both main guys: -can transform from a mythical creature to a human form -is very old (older than they look) but still act quite childish (but can be serious) -have a goal of "ascending"/leaving but is hesitating because of the main girl -is in their universe extremely good looking and humans can't tell their gender (meaning everyone is attracted to them) -have a guardian/guardians watching over them and trying to make sure they "ascend" A big difference between the main guys is that while Kairak (abide in the wind) doesn't show much emotion at all (he doesn't have any in the beginning) and don't do much, Banya (cheonnyeon kumiho) is very lively and are most of the time over the top angry. Both main girls: -want power to protect themselves/the people around them -are positive most of the time -don't have their parents -don't want to show their feeling for the main guy because they might hinder the guy from reaching his goal (so they feel that they are selfish if they "want the guy") -are pulled into an adventure because of the main guy -are pretty selfless One difference beetween the two main girls is that while Lee So-Yoon (cheonnyeon kumiho) is aware (to an extent) of the supernatural/fantasy things that's going on, Reana (abide in the wind) barley knows anything in the beginning. So-Yoon is special from birth while Reana is an ordinary human in the beginning.

Hataraku Maou-sama!

Both series have a demon/half-demon, that transforms (to some degree) when he uses his full power, as its main character. While hataraku maou-sama is more of a comedy both series have comedic and serious moments, ao no exorcist is more action packed but hataraku maou-sama have a few epic battles in it as well. If you enjoyed one you will probably like the other.
