Nichijou is still my number #1 favourite anime of all time, which is weird considering it's a slice of life comedy. Like I've watched way cooler plot heavy stuff but still here I am.
Nichijou's comedy is derived from creating hyperbole like reactions from normal life inconveniences/situations. Kyoto really blew the budget on everything just to emphasise all of that also, there really isn't any holding back. I can definitely see it being hit or miss however.

Kaiba has to be one of my top favourite anime's of all time; Every single category of animation, sound, characters and story are well crafted and really creates a setting. The whole premise of the show is very unique and the whole story fells like a massive piece of art (not in a bad subjective way).
The simplistic artstyle combined with the atmospheric colours and animation really set the tone of it's surroundings not to mention how well setup the story is and along with it's premise. If you're going to end up watching this be prepared for some underlying melancholy and confusion throughout it, but damn ... Mar 6, 2017
Ai Mai Mii is good when it comes to if you just want to watch a show of 2-3 minute skits that are pretty funny at times.
I like the ludicrous nature of the show, it's just a car with no breaks. It's got that 3 high school girls comedy thing going if you don't like that overused premise don't worry too much because it's just used as a background setting and really isn't a focus. I also like the art style a whole lot, especially when it has it's off-model moments. To conclude it's a good 'time waister' even if that is a short amount of time. ... |
