Characters:
Some characters develop backwards, turning into people who have not gained the emotional stability they had (gained) in destiny. Most new characters are introduced to the bare minimum. Most of them with no depth.

Story:
Recycled plot elements from destiny. Can't beat the "good guys"? Just give the bad guys better technology, and vice versa. If you are under the constraint of a single movie, don't cram in content which is normally intended for a whole arc.

Music:
Almost none of the soundtracks stuck out, unlike in the prequels. Feels like music was an afterthought, not enhancing the story at all. Also...a certain performance ...

Preliminary (4/12 eps)
I was expecting a feel good, episodic story with comedic elements. Something already done so often and I expected to drop this show after 1 or 2 episodes. Episodic anime rarely hook me (except for yuru camp). 4 episodes in, I can say that the story is episodic but each episode is done so well. Majo no Tabitabi managed to hook me. The story is alright, not too surprising. The first and especially the last quarters are my favorite parts. As for the soundtrack nothing particular stuck out to me. I ...

Preliminary (6/11 eps)
Story is nothing new but the CGI, music and character design are nice. Especially the ED is very catchy. I am really enjoying the show right now since there are not many good thriller/agent themed anime from what I gather. The MC is neither overpowered nor stupidly pathetic. It doesn't take him 10/12 episodes to change his mindset.
I was surprised that this is a mobile game adaptation since I haven't had good experiences with those.
The concept of capturing points is nothing new but it is the first time I see it (kinda) outside of a game.
All in all I give it a ...
