After first episode I'm afraid this show have pretty bad future in my eyes, and here is why:

Let's think, combination of which titles could born Tari Tari? First group is school music-related series such as K-On or fresh Natsuiro Kiseki. Second group is titles, revolving around teenagers in japanese country with dose of drama, such as Hanasaku Iroha (also it have same visual style) or Ano Natsu.

And basicly I don't think that's a good mash up.

Both K-On and NK are about "cute girls doing thier cute things", there is nearly no drama, and that's why they naturally combines with pop music. In HI and AN ... we have huge dramatic part, but they don't do anything creative: in first we have just normal ryokan scenery, in second we see creation of nearly documental movie. Ofc there is pleany of musical series combining both drama and creativity, but they're exploiting rebellious rock/punk culture. And since we have title about choral music, I'm afraid it's gonna be rebellious, to transparent fight vs teachers or globally system, and thus most likely we'll have totally unnatural cadaver of cheering choral music and dramatic plot.

The only thing I've enjoyed alot is nice backgrounds, I think people who've selected photos did great work.

TL;DR: boy meets girl, hen things happen, no general romantic shit.

The series starts very cliched. We have The Ordinary High School Student, we have The Ordinary New Transfer Student... or not that Ordinary? Yepp, new girl looks weirdo, do weirdo things, drooling as hell and, in nearly everything, isn't usual high school girl, filled with shyness and taboos. That's cool, if you gonna ask me. Main Hero aka Akira-kun despite being at top of his sexual maturation is all round nice guy, ... not pervert, not bookworm etc. Perfect character to project with yourself. Also, this is goin' to be very unusual romantic anime, just because it's targeted on boys and ant the same time it's not Yet Another Harem. There is also one feature, makes this title so special, but I'm not gonna spoil it. So for the story 8pts and 9pts for the girl (she's really mysterious, lol).

It's also 8pts for the art. It's quite oldschool, but not that dried mammoth shit like in parallel Ozuma. It have that 90-s flava. So if you're not scred of that, you'll like it. I'm glad to see so different art styles presented today at TV-anime market. 8pts.

Sound. Is. Quite. Amazing. Especially for the last scene of the first episode. It's some parade music with trumpets and stuff. Really brings feelings of craziness, madness and only God knows what else. 9pts.

Enjoyment. That's very undebatable part since it's quite personal. 10pts. I'm gonna reccomend it to anyone. It's worth it.

Overall 9pts after 1st episode. That's gonna be one of the very few sweets this season.

Story: 8
You know, there is no need in general story in this kind of anime. It's all about situational gags, but let's leave 8 points here, just because of girls-only school.

Art: 8
It's pretty nice, with all that chibi-face transformations etc etc. If you are not afraid of that (for example you liked Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) you'll find art adorable. If you don't, youshouldn't watch this one at all.

Sound:8
Sound in 6 mins episodes? You're joking. What's about SFX they're placed very well, that's why I'm leaving 8 points here.

Character:9
Oh... That... Boobs... I just can't resist, also Aya-chan isn't a shy one, which is quite ... rare in modern anime. And here is her counterpart in order to shade her. And few other girls. But again, there is not that much time to explain all chars, so for this 6 mins setup I found girls quite catchy. And Aya's boobs again.

Enjoyment:10
That's easy. If you like raw sexual jokes, you'll agree this is 10 points. If you too shy to face it, you won't. I just can say, that I got my jaw nearly dislocated because of laughing.

Overall:9
It's short comedy title. So main parts here art, chars and enjoyment. (8+9+10)/3=9. That's why.

To sum: if you liked PSG for Panty, Hen Zemi or Oruchuban Ebichy forall that silly jokes, you'll like Gokujyo too.
