Going to preface this by saying this is the first manga that I read learning Japanese so if my understanding doesn't 100% match what happened forgive me.

The story follows a little girl whose cat runs away only to return acting strange (though she doesn't seem to notice). At it's core this is a slice of life with a horror setting. I think that is what makes this manga interesting, similar to series like Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou (girls last tour) this series follows the everyday life of a cute girl, and is set in a horrific world. The contrast between cute, and horror is done pretty ... well, and the story actually manages to develop while keeping the cute surreal vibes going. If you expect a straight slice of life you will likely be pleasantly surprised.

As for the art it's quite good though I'm by no means an artsy type so I can't really comment too much. The art seems pretty detailed and the style matches the story.

The main characters are good though I don't think that's a huge part of the story.

Overall if you like Slice of Life and/or surreal horror I think it's worth checking out
