But now, what do I think of this anime? Well, I've already said it: it's one of my favorite anime of my life. It's inventive where it can be, has a unique personality and a BEAUTIFUL production by Bones that elevates each episode and scene to the maximum, complemented by the incredible character design by Toshinao AOKI and Yoshiyuki Ito.

After the anime finished, a short five-chapter manga adaptation was released. However, this time, the story is told from Nao's point of view in some of the series' key scenes. This gives us a more in-depth insight into her thoughts on everything and also allows us ... to get to know the character a little more. On the whole, however, it's just a treat for those who have enjoyed the series, with no major revelations or significant information.

Hisone to Masotan, for me, is a complete work. You could even argue that they didn't explain some things, but honestly, I didn't see much of a problem with that. The story is mystical rather than scientific, involving dragons, gods, monks and priestesses. At the end of the day, what matters are these five girls, each with their own unique personalities, but who talk to each other. They have something in common: the search for a purpose, the understanding of themselves and the search for their place in the world. This is what unites them with their dragons.

The anime is full of metaphors and references, but, in the end, what matters is how it hits you, how it questions you and, finally, how it answers those questions.

Hisone to Masotan tried to be something different, something more, and for me it worked so well. It's one of those anime that, even if I look at it or listen to it from miles away, I'll recognize it immediately. I'll never tire of talking about it, but I think that's enough for today.

It's a small, subtle and even simple series, but it speaks to you like few others do. At least, it spoke to me.

Hisone to Masotan came and left its message, but unfortunately, not everyone saw it. However, I hope that now more people will be interested in checking out this incredible work that I will carry in my heart forever.

Do I recommend Nadesico? Yes, but kinda.

Nadesico is a classic mecha anima based a lot on other even more classic mecha anime, but it doesn't stand up to those inspirations, it traies to do too much at the same time and in the end it doesn't do any of those things really right, it has charming aspects but overall it feels like a jumbled mix of a lot of ideas that don't function that well together.

When the series tries to do it's story seriously it's actually great, but every time it pivots to something else it crumbles imensely.

So overall, Nadesico is great at a few ... points, but it loses itself on so many other that is difficult to praise it more.

"Happy birthday dear Ericht…"

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (Prologue) serves really well as a, well, prologue.

It's a great first step, and an essential one, to the follow up series (that is currentely airing as I'm writing this and you just really check out).

Here in this 25 minute episode we're hit with a lot of emotions that at first glance may seem irrelevant as most of the characters here aren't in the show for reasons I'll not elaborate here, but this standalone episode manages to make you feel for them in a really compelling way, and for me that's it's biggest strength.

Well, that and ... the frankly AMAZING production by Sunrise as always, they are absolutely great when it comes to Gundam (and other series as well).

So if you love mechas, Gundam, and otherwise, give this a shot, and the follow up series too.

Ps: This made me cry like a baby by the end of it, so beware.

Pom Poko is a good Ghibli film!

But not an amazing one though, for me the first 30 or so minutes are amazing, the documentary style narration and I loved to see this slice of these raccoons lives, how they interact and live. But after sometime it gets a little boring, the story itself isn't anything to write home about, and that's why I think this would work a lot better if it was a short movie. I would gladly watch a 30 minute short documentary(ish) piece about these raccons.

But as it is the film is good nonetheless, the Ghibli qualoty is here, there are absolutely ... gorgeous scenes here, the animation is flawless, the comedy is good, and it has lovable characters, I just felt that the story didn't held up that good throughout the film...

Overall Pom Poko is a good experience, and if you're a Ghibli fan I would absolutely recomend this movie.

Wow no one has wrote a review for this, well I'll be the first then.

This show is so good, and heart warming, it's not perfect, and of course is for kids, but man, if you like mecha anime give this a chance, is on Bandai Spirits channel on Youtube fully subbed in english and for free, so support them for publishing this for free worldwide!

There's not much to say, this is a plain charming mecha anime for kids, it has some great animation segments, the characters are fun, the story is simple but okay and overall is a fun experience.

So yeah, if you're a fan ... of overly emotional kids with giant robots, go watch this show!

"So are you amazed yet?"

'Promare' is a very good movie! But it lacks a little pacing...

It's needless to say that this looks absolutely gorgeous, Studio Trigger keeps their standard of quality in this film, the animation is inventive and hyped up, it makes every scene just pop off.

The characters are a little bland, so is the story, they're really generic, not that it's bad, but it could be better.

The thing with this movie it's that is stylish as heck, so if you want a visual feast with amazing scenes and action this is the perfect movie for you, and don't get me wrong, i really ... liked it, it just felt a little empty at some parts, and the pacing is kinda bad in some segments, with scenes dragging out too much then going by too quickly.

Overall a great movie, with awesome visuals!

Burn the Witch is style over substance.

While the anime is really well produced and animated, the story falls a little short, it doesn't explains a lot of things the story comes and goes without that much impact and the characters end up feeling a little tossed around.

Maybe this anime "movie" would benefit from being a series with a little more development.

Overall it's a cool anime, the fights are great, the animation is awesome, and the characters are somewhat likable, I just think that if the story was a little more well made this could jump from a "good" to a "great".
