The first four episodes are weird in their exposition and it made it hard to get in to. I normally watch anime while I’m working so it was fine to have on in the background. BUT it wasn’t until episode 5 that I actually cared about the story. I don’t like how many open holes there are and how the story seems to be juggling like nine storylines at once. It’s just doing too much.
I’m going to finish it of course, but still.
The Corpse God doesn’t seem to have himself together, Polka is a one-note caricature, Zaki has no depth.
